Pepe's Produce is a one-stop grocery store selling fresh produce that is priced well. Inside, the taqueria serves the best Mexican food in town, with authentic and affordable street tacos described as bomb and delicious. The tacos are big, and items like the Carne Asada quesadilla and pan dolce are also excellent. The horchata and green salsa are highlighted. It's a great stop before heading to Julian or the desert. The people who work there are very friendly, pleasant, and kind. Customers recommend going in the morning for fresh bread and note the great meat counter for BBQ.
Amazing Al Pastor! Any time I pass through Ramona I stop in for a few Al Pastor tacos. They have other hot items cooked to order for lunch but I just can't get enough of the Al Pastor, lol. It is also a small mercado with a nice selection of produce and meats.

Stopped for some food on our way to Palm Springs, will definitely return. The food is fresh and delicious, we had asada and Al pastor, both excellent. Nice grocery items available and the tortillas are the rea deal. Bought a couple packages.
