Stayed for two nights because of the storm rolling in. Awesome place with great hospitality. All kinds of amenities, washing, drying, showers, home cooked meals and breakfast! Amazing people with all kinds of support for the hikers, with resupply options, but also the place for relaxing, yoga, floating a.s.o.

This is one of those rare finds that you’re lucky to just so happen stumble across when you do. Not gonna lie at first when we arrived and looked around I was a bit skeptical and thought maybe the $75 per person might be a bit much to be asking just to sleep in either a teepee, a 4 person hiker hut or in an older RV. To back track a little this retreat is located on someone’s personal property so it doesn’t exactly match up visually to what someone might think of when thinking of a “retreat” environment. We asked for a quick tour around before committing to staying here which we got with no problems and then afterwards there was no question we were staying. I’m not into yoga but even I was blown away with how awesome the yoga studio was. The same went for the float pool, I was very surprised by the professional setup. It should be noted the yoga class is included with the cost of your stay however the optional “float” is not included and will cost an additional $25 if you want it. Laundry is completely free(including soap) and you can do it yourself or they will do it for you. There are 2 private showers and 2 private toilets in the common area where you also have access to the free epson salt and tubs to soak your feet anytime you like. Aside from all that the real value comes just from the quality of food they serve you. OMG ? no joke I wasn’t expecting anything close to the amazing meals we received or the effort that was put into serving them. The food alone was worth the $75 in my opinion. I cannot emphasize enough how perfect our meals were and the environment in which there served. I don’t want to take away from anyone’s future experiences so I’m gonna leave it at that and you can just see for yourself. I would definitely recommend this place to any hiker wanting a little pampering to celebrate there first 100 miles on the trail.

This place was absolutely magical! An oasis in the PCT hiker's dreams. There is something special about sleeping in a teepee and doing yoga in a yurt. The property is kept in great condition, and the rates are really affordable for a hiker on a budget. If you are wondering if this place is worth the 1.5 mile off trail location for a relaxation day or zero day.... IT IS!! I'm so glad I live in Southern California because I will most certainly be back and bringing some friends for a weekend retreat!

I have stayed here twice when hiking the PCT. Chery has created a magical atmosphere using art, traditional structures including teepees and yurts, prayer flags and small sculptures. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and especially nutritious. This could be the most restful stop on the entire trail.

Just the thing for a tired PCT Hiker at 100 miles. A place to rejuvenate. Food is excellent too. Incredible hospitality. Stay in the teepee and try some homemade kombucha, can't recommend enough!

We stayed for one night and loved it so much. This place is amazing. If you're looking for a quite and peaceful environment to relax and enjoy the nature, don't look further! However, there's no cell phone signal or wifi available but you came here to relax, right?!

I was lucky to be referred to Chery for Craniosacral Therapy after a neck injury (which continues to heal – it takes time). Chery's multi-disciplinary training, her finely-tuned instincts, and her gifted touch have helped me make very solid progress toward recovery and have, equally importantly, given me the sensations and vision of how a fully-integrated body will move, feel, and experience the world. San Diego County's “back country†is very lucky to have Chery Owens practicing here.
