Bill, Truck Driver was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The moving teams paid attention to detail to ensure there was no damage to our delicate pieces and worked very hard and fast. Also, our sale rep, Jim O’Conner was very responsive and informative in his communications, answering questions and returning calls. We highly recommend them!

Great team to deal with in my cross country move. The whole team communicated well and promised on the delivery schedule. Would recommend to anyone looking for moving

The move was poor all the way around. Came to my house and provided quote for a full move, and then missed weight by thousands of pounds and charged me for shuttling which we discussed while onsite shouldn’t be an issue. Was willing to work with me on the overage, but then at delivery the unloaders damaged most of my items. The driver fired the team before completing the unpack (which I paid for) and did not reassemble 7 items. Was sent to insurance who denied the damage claim as “prexisiting”. Insurance company “lost” the video and photos the took from an hour + video walk through and charged me a deductible when I paid for zero deductible and $100k insurance. My things are ruined and I assembled. I spent more than $500 to have packing materials removed since I had to unpack everything myself. $26k and I feel completely taken advantage of. They’re all very nice but go silent when you need help. I’d suggest staying far far away. Total bummer as it started off so well.

I had wonderful communication throughout the experience. The movers were professional and the cross-country move went better than expected. We only had 3 items damaged out of a 20+ thousand pound household. Very happy with the outcome.

Overall, a very good moving company. They arrived when they said they would and delivered my household furniture and goods in just two days from California to Utah. The only problem was one of communication. When I called the day prior to the delivery, I was told there was no way the delivery would be made the next day. The next day as I am making my way to Utah, I receive a call in the morning informing me that the driver would be there in one hour. The only problem, I was about four and one half hours away. My wife was there alone and she was kind enough to allow the crew to unload. Unloading was nearly completed by the time I arrived. The company needs to improve communication to enable their customers to plan better for deliveries.

I had used Mee moving previously with no problems at all. On that 250 mile move, the mirror in my portable bar was broken and Mee had it fixed within a week. NO other problems.I moved again two years later from Downtown ********** to **************, about 17 miles. I again purchased their insurance policy. The Mee movers were on time and packed up fairly quickly. One of the movers appeared to be new as the others gave him many directions. They had to unload the truck in the rain and tracked mud and dirt throughout the house on newly cleaned carpets. The newcomer shook out a moving blanket in the garage and threw my wall clock across the garage floor, where it broke into multiple pieces. They also damaged one of my expensive lamp shades. A glass shelf that belonged to my bar was left in the apartment I vacated, but I was able to recover it.When I made an insurance claim for the 2 damaged items, I was told that the insurance only covers $.80 a pound. I would have received roughly $12-15.00 for both items, which I NEVER did receive. I called and talked to *****, who was wonderful and helpful. She transferred me to her boss who told me that there was nothing else they could do. It cost me over $100 to repair the clock and the lampshade went into the garbage.I would not recommend them and if you do use them, pay attention to their insurance small print.

We decided, after a lot of research, both online and in-person to pony up the extra money for a "reputable" moving company. I honestly wish I could leave a good review, but here are the facts:I was promised our belongings would be loaded on the large truck that would transport them to our new home, instead, they were loaded on to 5 shuttle trucks.I was promised I would meet the driver - never happened.I was promised a window of time when our items would arrive - they were 4 days past the latest date and 10 days past the earliest date. They didn't care at all about getting our family (including young children) our belongings.I found a driver who would take the shipment and get it to us on time. They refused to release the shipment to that driver. They did not return my calls or texts during or since the move. They knew on day three that our belongings would be late, but didn't tell me until after the last box was loaded on the truck on day five.Mees Moving and Storage is an incredibly unprofessional company. They are simply liars and con men. Do not use them.

Would not recommend Mees. They did a good job of packing up our belongings, but the move in was a different story. They requested 100% of payment on arrival and then they were in such a hurry to leave that they left a lot of loose ends. They blew out of our house on the day of the move-in like a "bat out of hell." They dissassembled my favorite lamp and left it for us to put back together. After trying for several hours, I took it to Scandinavian Designs (where we had purchased it) and they said it was missing a piece and essentially irreparable. Mees said, "we are not required to put it back together", and, "file a claim and you are entitled to 60 cents a pound." That is about $20 for a several hundred dollar lamp. It is ridiculous that they can willfully break something of ours and not pay to replace it. We leave messages for them to call and they do not respond. They were very responsive when they were trying to get our business, but now that they have our money, it seems that we have no recourse. I should have read all the lousy reviews on the internet before I hired them. Do yourself a favor and get someone else to do your move. These guys are not good.

No "stars" is a gift. We moved from Northern California to Southern California in June 2019. The only bright spot was Drew, a supervisor, who at the conclusion tried his very best to reconcile the "disaster" of this move, which included, furniture damage, irreplaceable lost cartons, and plants we could not save. We haven't filed a claim yet for the damages, however, we did call several weeks ago to see if they could find a lost carton that contained irreplaceable items, wedding video, mothers memorial video. Still no call back....."shocker". These folks have not earned a respectable spot in the moving business. We moved different times, and this moving company and experience was the WORST you could possibly conceive.

I have dear lifelong friends who decided to leave CA for AZ, after living in CA for 75 years. I recommended they contact Mee's for a quote. I have known the Filer family for over 20 years. I am so disappointed that I made the recommendation. The transportation of the items was a cluster from start to finish. My friends were given a window of when their items would arrive and they made plans accordingly. After their furniture did not arrive, but rather came over a week later, my friends spent a significant amount of money, with some assurances from Mee's that they would be reimbursed for expenses due to the inconvenience of not having their items. Once the items finally arrived, a TV was missing. My friends tried to call Matt Filer to get help and were told, "I'm not responsible for the movers." Well then who is?! My friends' contract was with Matt and Mee's. My friends filed a claim to cover their losses and added expenses which totaled over $2500 and they were given a check for $400 after they were told they'd get $900. Now Matt is refusing their phone calls. I am so disappointed. I realize every story has two sides. I have no doubt that Mee's has their side of all of this, but I expected more, especially from someone I've known for over 20 years when I refer you business of people who are like my 2nd parents. From my point of view, it looks as though you took advantage of elderly people. And since you won't take their calls or return a call, what else can I assume?

If you value your belongings go with a different company! They were two days late, stored our stuff for a month and broke several items, family heirlooms that have been handed down were broken. They can look forward to a big lawsuite!

Not only do I not recommend this company, I'll say this is by far the worst moving company I've ever dealt with. From the estimates being wrong, to the employees stealing, employees complaining about other employees and bosses, to our furniture getting broke or not boxed at all. Hardware gone or just thrown in furniture, boxes not tagged and crushed. Just over all poor service be warned. You get what you pay for, I've moved cross country with the military numerous times and this by far is the worst experience in moving we ever have had.

My wife and I used Mee's to move us from Shingle Springs to Maui. We had them also store our belongings at their warehouse for a few months because we hadn't found a home yet. We had originally agreed on a 20' moving container to move our belongings. When they left our home with everything, it only filled half of a 28' box van. We were told that the cost of the move was on the total weight of our items. We were told that we would be called and told what our weight was when they left our home. We never received that call. When I did call for a weight, I got the run around. Finally a weight was given. Who knows if it was correct. Once we found a home, we called up Mee's the first week of October for a delivery date to be around Dec. 1. Our container was 10 days overdue. Plus, we were told that it would not fit in a 20 foot container and a 40' was needed. When we received the container in Maui, it was opened and it was half full. I know our belongings would of fit in a 20'container. After unpacking our belongings I now know why. Our stuff was so overpacked with paper we couldn't believe it. Does a wooden plate need to be packed as if it were glass? Also, we have 4 Bath towels. Why do 3 bath towels make it into 1 box and the other is in another box unrelated to bathroom items. I could go on and on. Please use caution when using Mee's.
