“Yeah it's a great place to go when you only have a little bit of money they pretty much got everything in there for about a buck and a quarter I think it is now it's funny to because all the prices of everything are going up except for everybody's paycheck I don't know how they think we can afford this stuff when we're not even get more money on a paycheck a dollar now is going to be what a buck-fifty eventually it's at 1:25 right now I don't know but I'm living day by day my paycheck is gone when I get paid so thank you Dollar Tree every now and then I have a couple bucks left great place”

“Usually not in the area of this Dollar Tree so stopped by on a whim. Store was clean. nicely stocked of more than what I needed items, and being stocked as I was there with Christmas items. Also very helpful staff when I asked where something was with which aisle I needed to go to. There was a long line at the check out of 1 till opened and I asked if we could get another till open. Within 5 minutes they did and quickly got all of us out the door with our new purchases. Awesome Madison Dollar Store ?”
“Found some good items here that the other dollar stores did not have for $1.25-$1.50 yes the store could use a little cleaning but still a good deal. The homeless were present when I was there in the early evening But their security guards made their presence known!”

“I only had a few dollars today but i did not have any problem getting some snacks, drinks, napkin, and paper plates. The place was clean and easy to navigate, but what reallly caught my attention was those balloons. I thought there was a party going on. They were in almost every aisle and they presented a positive and lively atmosphere. Next time i have a get-together occasion with friends, i know where to go to get needed items.”

“The workers here are so friendly and welcoming! We were lucky to get the last tarp despite online inventory saying they had 36 in stock. Unfortunately, these pleasant workers have to deal with severe retail theft by the homeless and criminals, so online stock isn’t always accurate. But despite this, the workers still have a good attitude every time I’ve been in.”
“Took a trip to our local Dollar 25 store to get a few items. Of course my son put more items in the basket than what we went there for. The lady at the register (can't remember her name) had great conversation, was efficient, and even complimented my cute little boy. Made his rough day he had at school end abruptly. “I always have a good experience with this Dollar General except on Sunday. It is hard to find a parking because of the church next door. To the owner of this store something needs to be done about this. The store is always clean inside and the staff is always friendly to me. One day I couldn't reach an item so went and found some help (Darnell)who stocks the shelves came and gladly assisted me.”

“I went there when they first opened up and they were so well stocked then. Since then, they are slower to restock when they run out of items. Such a shame they have to contend with so much theft. Homeless people just waltz right in, fill their bags up with merchandise and leave. Cashiers can't do anything about it.”

“Our checker was Nate, and he very patiently and kindly waited on my 5 year old to pay for his transaction with coins. He helped him count out the change and was happy and smiling. It was so nice! Thank you Nate!”
“I shopped at the store today . The cashier's manners left a lot to be desired . I shopped for hotwheels and found two complete boxes in the toy area . I put the cars on the pegs and set aside the ones I liked . When I was done stocking the pegs I put my selection in an unused box . When she saw me she asked where I got those ? She was probably meaning the cars but then she said "oh - i meant the box because they shouldn't be left in customer area". She addressed me in a rude tone . I asked her a few more questions and I kept getting kurt responses . I have no idea as to why whe was so rude and I won't offer my theories . I am not naming the employee . She is probably having a bad day but it is not fair to take it out on the customers . I have frequented the establishment for many years and this is the first time I got this kind of treatment . Management needs to impress upon cashiers to keep their emotions and or biases in check when dealing with customers.”

“I’m specifically leaving this comment because the people who work here really do deserve 5 stars, and an obvious pay raise. They were slammed, but communicated well to help the customers and their team without an ounce of annoyance. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the lady’s name that helped us out, but she carefully and considerately packed our groceries, putting chemicals separate from food and wrapping glass without us asking. I also was encouraged when I outspokenly wanted to buy a balloon for just myself, even though the store had just blown up 20+ balloons. During our visit, there was stocking going on, and Kyle left his post to help a customer find something and quickly came back. I don’t believe the review flack is deserved - at least not today, especially being as gloomy a day as it was and the effort they put into their jobs.”

“My compliments to the manager. She was very professional and courteous. I had a return of items worth $36, but I didn't. I explained to her it looked very similar to the generic brand. But this name brand was 4 times as much (side note: obviously I no longer call these stores the dollar store or the dollar and a quarter store!)
I showed her a picture of my credit card charge and she agreed to return it to my card.
I will by pass 2 closer Dollar Trees just to shop here!”
“This store was tidy when I visited, which is always a plus. The usual areas were less tidy, but not too bad, so they are keeping uo with the disarray of smaller items in crafts or office/school supplues. The store isn't very big and the isles are a little close. The endcaps seem to be full of highlighted products or seasonal products. Because the store is smaller, I had to look a little harder to find things on lower shelves that might normally be on a higher shelf in a bigger store.
The cashier experience was mixed (on several visits). None of it was bad, and they were professional enough, but I recommend you pay attention to what they are doing because they lack confidence and are prone to mistakes. It's possible that management is undermining their confidence with unconstructive or unnecessary criticism, or whatever, or they might be new or not confident in general.
Like most dollar trees, the cashiers are not in a hurry - which isn't unexpected - and it's only annoying when the lines are long.”
