“I stopped by the Dollar Tree in Rancho Cordova after a long day, just needing a few small household items. The store felt calm and organized, and I appreciated how easy it was to grab everything in one quick trip. The cashier greeted customers warmly and kept the line moving smoothly. It’s nice when a simple shopping stop feels easy and positive.”
“Had the little glass rocks I needed for a project. The store was clean and staff was nice. Good selection. It's kinda off by itself and I didn't feel real safe by my self going in and out. I had my pepper spray in my hand. I'm a 66 year old female.”
“I walked into the Dollar Tree in Citrus Heights planning to buy just a pack of napkins. Ten minutes later I was holding a basket with snacks, cleaning supplies, and a few things that looked too useful to ignore. Somehow that store makes browsing entertaining. The cashier was friendly and checkout was quick.”
“Visited a friend in the area and she recommended I go to this location, saying they have a lot more product and overall nice. 100% right. Very quiet area, parking lot seemed pretty empty, wasnt sure if I even pulled into the right area 😅
I have a summerween birthday party I'm planning, so they had cute Halloween and cute summer items. Could literally spend all day in there looking at high quality products in general.
Love the location, very nice and clean store. Every aisle is filled, everything is out, the staff actually seemed happy to be there. Not only that, but they had a lot of people on the clock happy to help.”
“Found some good items here that the other dollar stores did not have for $1.25-$1.50 yes the store could use a little cleaning but still a good deal. The homeless were present when I was there in the early evening But their security guards made their presence known!”
“well you know how you plan 2 go 2 the dollar tree & you tell yourself. ok I only need 2 get one thing & that's all, & 2 hours, & $60 - $80 Dollars later you find your way out the door saying 2 yourself. WHAT THE HELL? well that's me. LOL & I was just going 2 grab a few snacks. so I'm other words... I love the Dollar tree. never had any bad experiences at any of them. except it does get a little irritating wen the line is hella long & there's only one register open. that's not how it was at this store. but it happens..”
“Managers are really helpful, had some issue with candle items we bought, they reviewed cameras, matched the receipt, did the right process, and we eventually got we needed. Thanks!!!”
“Great location!. Good prices, and has everything you need. Like kleenex, cleaning supplies, paper towels and more for only $1.50. Also usually has pet food in stock. They carry the dog food size cans of 9-Lives cat food for only $1.50. I stop buy every month for cleaning supplies and an energy drink.”
“I always walk into this Dollar Tree with a very short list and walk out feeling like I’ve just completed a treasure hunt. The aisles are a delightful jumble, and the staff are so friendly and patient with people like me who can’t stop exclaiming over what’s on the shelves. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting away with something, and honestly, that’s half the fun.
My only mild grumble is that the checkout line tends to back up just when you’re feeling most triumphant. It’s not a big deal—just a little time to admire my haul and wonder why I need more than one of everything. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll probably bring a bigger basket next time.”
“It's right by my house, super easy and organized location. The people working there are so helpful!! I come in a LOT asking for different crafting supplies or random items, they either join the scavenger hunt or know that they don't have the product I'm looking for but, I absolutely adore all the workers!! They are so fun and even if it was a Monday, somehow they crack a joke and make me smile. Super respectful, opening doors, memorizing iles. Just overall doing the best they can with a store that size. I also know that not many people work there, mainly because of the outdated technology, but I love it!! Who said I didn't want to visit the early 2000s - 90s?! Haha, perfect place to shop. They also are very quick to fit the theme of the season, each time I walk into the store throughout the year. The workers are on top of decorations and I've never seen so many balloons filled to perfection by them either until recently. I never had any personal issues except for parking. I remember being stuck in the parking lot, because other cars were still pulling up behind me to get to the nearest grocery store. Completely not affecting this review since it's nothing you can control. Thank you so much for being awesome and amazing!! Have an amazing day.”
“Dollar tree is always the way to go for a fast birthday gift if you didn't have time to go somewhere else they have nice things for up to 1.25 to 10 dollars so I never complain! I always buy cups there and turn them to my on”
“Well this store has nice work staff. The shelves were not stocked today with fresh items to eat because holiday . I do like the store being open for business thru every Stormy weather.”
“Every time I go into the store I just plan on grabbing a couple things, then, next thing I know, I'm walking out with a grocery basket of goodies. Super friendly employees!”
“Dollar Tree in Citrus Heights. Bright aisles. Simple shelves. Everyday items arranged in quiet rows. I walked in looking for a few basic things and found them in minutes. No confusion, no complicated pricing, just straightforward shopping. Sometimes simplicity is exactly what makes a store pleasant.”
“The staff here are great, they are always doing their best to be helpful , store is well organized and the store manager is the sweetest. Give some grace to these hard working people this holiday season ..”
“I really enjoy coming to this store. They always have what I need. The manager Joe S., Joe C. and a young lady I don't know her name are very nice and helpful. However; my favorites staff members are Brianna, Ron and Trevor they always go out their way to make sure I'm taken care of. To the corporate office you are very lucky to have all of them working for your organization.”
“The Dollar General has that simple neighborhood-store feeling. You can walk in without a long shopping list and still find everything you need for the house. The aisles are easy to navigate and the prices are reasonable for quick purchases. It’s a practical stop when you don’t want to spend half an hour in a giant store.”
“Our checker was Nate, and he very patiently and kindly waited on my 5 year old to pay for his transaction with coins. He helped him count out the change and was happy and smiling. It was so nice! Thank you Nate!”
“I stopped by the Dollar Tree in Folsom after work and was able to get in and out quickly. The store was tidy and everything seemed easy to locate. The cashier was friendly and efficient, which made the visit even better. Good place for quick errands.”
“Generally don't like going to this location due to its location. But as usual, the staff are really amazing and professional and they had a lot of wonderful products that I was specifically looking for like the 25 cent items and the penny deals”
“The Dollar Tree is a good place to stop when you’re picking up small things for the house. The store layout makes it easy to walk through and find items quickly. Checkout was smooth and the staff were polite.”
“Great store, clean, organized best one i have been in so far. Greet you when you come in. On reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 star is they had no bags for customers and no alternatives for customers that spent lot of money. They put signs on the door but honestly who pays attention to written signs lol....”
“It was 9 pm and only 1 cashier, he had a great attitude making each customer laugh. These customers looked like they had seen some better days. But the employees positive interactions with us customers made me want to shop there more often.”
“Place is large and have to choose from.. frozen section is my favorite..
With that said the do seem to need a bigger staff. There are a lot of empty space on shelves, or maybe I just caught them on a bad day .”
“I visit the Dollar Tree in Carmichael occasionally and the experience has always been consistent. The store usually has what I need and the staff are friendly. It’s a practical place for everyday items.”
“The Dollar Tree near Sacramento is one of the easier stores to shop in when you just need basic things quickly. The layout makes sense and the shelves were stocked during my visit. I like that you can grab party supplies, small household items, and snacks all in one trip. The staff were polite and greeted customers as they checked out.”
“The Dollar General in Citrus Heights is not trying to be a giant retail universe. Instead it exists as a compact collection of everyday necessities. Aisles intersect like small narratives: snacks, paper goods, household items. You move through them quickly, completing your own small story of errands.”
“Great atmosphere. Long lines. Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Clean establishment. Associates are courteous and professional. Parking is good, if not parking right by the building, as that is limited. Everywhere else near has great parking and it's comfortably placed.”
