Had a good experience w one of the tellers. But the next time I came in the teller asked a bunch of weird invasive questions about my finances. Been w this bank for 22 yrs, never had that happen.

Worst experience from this branch I came into this location to get a debit card just opened a account with golden 1 i came to speak with a banker to get a debit card then he goes thru and tells I gotta speak with a teller cause they are the only ones who can print out cards.. I been here almost an hour still haven't spoke to a teller they only had three people at the window and the line is ridiculous long and the guy who didn't have any customers was talking on the phone this location needs more employees

Rancho Cordova branch is the worst G1 that I have ever had the displeasure to visit. Every single time I must go into this branch, I absolutely dread it. Walked in today, as usual, 13 people in line, 2 tellers. Unacceptable G1, you can do better for your members. I have enjoyed being a G1 member for over 30 years but this Rancho Cordova branch and its lack of urgency for its members time is too much to bear. Iβm transferring to the other large CU.

Worst customer service ever! Manager does absolutely nothing during the busiest times. She leaves two tellers with 30 people in line. Poor management, poor scheduling and the worst customer service when itβs finally your turn.

This location is the worst. It's like they try to make the wait longer by pulling workers off the line any time it's actually moving reasonably. Even worse, the others who wrote this get the response from Golden 1's social media team that "you're time is valuable to us... use the app for 24/7 service"....; which has to be the coldest way to say that it may very well be on purpose to make people not use the in person services.
We already avoid going in... We don't want to go in, but there are times when a person needs things the ATM doesn't provide: cash in denominations other than $20/$50 is the big one for me. But yeah, we get it Golden 1 you don't like your customers coming to the bank. Noted. This branch in particular is to be avoided!

The workers in this bank are so lazy specially Isaias the cashier. They donβt want to do nothing just say that you need an extra for anything. Go to other bank.

This is the slowest branch in all of sac county. There is at most only 2 tellers at a time. Management is trash. If there was negative stars as an option, I'd rate this a -5 star spot.
If there are 5 people in front of you, expect 25 mins minimum.

The worst branch ever i donβt even bank with them thanks GOD i bank with CHASE had go here to cash a check the place is being run by amateur tellers the manager looks like she on a fashion show lines are ridiculous took 1 hour on the clock to cash a check just beyond disappointed. Worst bank and branch ever ?ββοΈ

Iβve been with Golden 1 CU for years now and I have been to various branches throughout, and per my experience there is two branches that are the worst on wait times: Rancho Cordova & Elk Grove Florin/Calvine Rd.
EG-Florin location has the absolute worst parking being in a shopping center. I now live off of Hwy 50, which now brings me often to the Rancho location, and this one is the worst of the two. The tellers are nice but itβs the wait times thatβs terrible. Thereβs maybe 1-3 tellers max, many of them doing very little except assisting customers. The line gets very long and it seems the longer it gets, the slower the wait time. I rarely go into a branch but I have to go in once a month and it is so dreadful in doing so. Additionally, their website always crashes, even when they do so many updates, their ATM machines are slow, too. The last time I went into the Rancho branch , their bills dispenser broke mid-withdrawal of my money. This delayed my time and had to be redone again. Things like this are what I have observed over the years and it doesnβt seem like theyβre making improvements. I get there's state rules and regulations but itβs definitely been spiraling downward in quality.

Wait times standing in line are maddening. Instead of wasting customer's time and squanding profits to have name on arena, hire an adequate number of tellers to serve the customers who made those profits possible.
