Our experience started great, but ended poorly. The Mee’s rep badly underestimated the weight/cost on our job and, consequently, the van that showed up couldn’t accommodate all our furniture. A second truck picked up the remaining items a couple of days later, but, after 3 weeks, has yet to deliver. We’re now 11 days past the promised date on our contract, have had 5 different promises of when the rest of our belongings will arrive, and we’re still waiting. When I spoke to the owner yesterday, he didn’t seem to care. Not impressed.

Smoothest Move Ever – Thank You, Mee Moving and Storage!
I can't say enough great things about my experience with Mee Moving and Storage! From the very first phone call to the final delivery, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and top-notch customer service.
The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and treated my belongings as if they were their own. They were courteous, well-organized, and made the entire moving process completely stress-free. I especially appreciated how carefully they wrapped and loaded all of my furniture—everything arrived in perfect condition.
Their storage facility is also super clean, secure, and well-maintained. I had peace of mind knowing my items were in good hands while in storage.

I put things into storage several years ago, although they were to only be there a short while. Based on long letters in my file, I see that the initial move was a bit contentious. The move was split--part into long-term storage, and part into a house 150 miles away. That move turned out to be several thousand dollars which I believe was much more than I had anticipated.
Fast forward to several years later when I got the long-term out of storage and moved into a house. The movers were nice young men, although they failed to give me the check-off sheet until they were leaving, hurriedly trying to beat impending rain. I later realized that items are missing (e.g., lots of glassware, all recipe boxes full of my family recipes, a dolly, etc.).
When I called about creating a claim, I was met with an adversarial rather than a helpful attitude. I had paid for full-value insurance all these years, but I learned that because we did not check off the sheet, I was not covered for the missing items. A claim form was emailed to me, and it said to add accompanying info, such as quotes. I obtained quotes to repair (several thousands of dollars of damage), and went ahead and got them repaired, thinking the quote was what Mee's wanted. When I phoned prior to submitting the claim form, I was told they would not cover anything already repaired, saying someone needed to come out to look at the damaged items. I put in a claim for the remaining items that I had not yet repaired--their insurance company was nice to work with, but did not come out to assess damage. They did promptly pay for the remaining damaged-but-unrepaired items, but not the already-repaired items, or the missing items. There was no mouse damage or anything like that, which was nice.

The whole team at this moving and storage company was a breathe of fresh air compared to other moving companies I have encountered and used in the past several years. They were lightening quick reacting to a call for packing and relocation of our Mother's furniture and posessions from her assisted living home. They were able to accommodate our request for help and had everything in local storage in short order. They were super helpful when we made arrangements in advance to retrieve everything. Definitely a professional operation making what could have been an extremely stressful situation very much less so.

My boyfriend had Mee's pack up his house and store it for him 4 years ago. Recently we had it moved to the new place. First, the price to load it, drive 80 miles, unload it and move it in was too cheap! For the service they provide and the kindness they have shown us over the years, I swear they had to have lost money. They are truly one of a kind, there is no service or anyone like them. Nothing was broken, ruined by being stored or missing. I can't say enough good things about Mee's. Except Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. Susan Murray (Andre Kovacs)
