Michael and his team did a fabulous job of moving us. Moving from one city to another is always hard but Mike and team (Stefan, Manny, Hector and Tony) were courteous, patient but very careful with our items. Thank you for making this move smooth!

Extremely disappointed with this team. I hired them for an office clean out move. The men who showed up where not prepared and lacked proper equipment. They showed up over a half hour late. One seemed visibly intoxicated. They didn't work together and in the process of moving heavy furniture, damaged several cabinets due to negligent moving and lacking proper equipment. When I requested to have our final invoice revised to account for the damage to our furniture I was informed that they have a policy where they make their customers pay in full for the move and then they will see if they will pay for damages. What a headache and what a bad practice to make your customers put more work into an already bad situation. I'll never use them again, too risky.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Mother Lode Movers, and I can’t say enough good things about the team. From start to finish, they were professional, respectful, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a very complicated moved for a large school District for a summer move where we were moving classroom and office furniture from one site to another, and this team made the process very smooth.
A special thank you to Tavoris, the lead on my move—his courtesy, positive attitude, and constant “yes ma’am” reassurances made the entire process smooth and stress-free. As a female project manager, I’ve worked with many crews, and this team stood out for the way they made me feel both respected and safe. That level of professionalism goes a long way, and it didn’t go unnoticed.
The crew—Mike T., Andrew, Mason, Alexy, Tyrone, Tommie, Glen, Don, Sean G., Carlos, and Steve—worked seamlessly together, handling everything with great care, efficiency, and teamwork. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things were done right.
If you’re looking for movers who are not only highly skilled but also genuinely kind and professional, I wholeheartedly recommend Mother Lode Movers. They turned what could have been a stressful day into a truly positive experience!

We moved from Rancho Cordova to Nampa Idaho and used Mother Lode Van & Storage .
The driver Mike Eden and his crew were exceptional. They were on time and professional.

Very disappointed with Mother Lode Van & Storage.
First, Moving Date…. I was never placed on their schedule, so it had to be reschedule.
Second, Overtime….I was never told my moving time was 10 hours, any overtime…. like the hour and half, accounting rep said, I am charged an additional $500. I received a phone call from The rep, from who I signed up with, saying that I need to pay, $1,200 - $1300 more, I said because of the overtime, and boxes, I told him, when I called in about not being on your schedule, the rep told me the additional 41 boxes I had they would waive the fee, He said he wasn’t aware of that.
Third, Our “moving boxes” were thrown around tossed around in my garage, living room and daughter's room for the last two hours before leaving for the day.
Fourth, we packed all our boxes, so all the movers had to do is move the boxes, the nine pieces of furniture, a Fridge, Washer & Dryer into the house. And place “ 6 Assembled metal shelves” and 72/plastic containers back on the racks.
Fifth, I had several pieces of “Crystal” vases that are broken. The boxes that were placed in the garage, the box with the Crystal vases, that said, Living Room, fragile handle with care, one of the movers placed my “Power washer machine” on top of the box. What more could have written on the box?
Sixth, “Dresser”, underneath the middle board is broken of the dresser, it wont stay level, it sways side to side to the touch. The reason this happen I’ve never seen a mover placed a 72” 6 drawer dresser upright. I was told to leave my clothing inside the dresser, which was lingerie, scarfs, gloves and hair accessories, nothing of heavy weight.
My sister and I had everything ready for the movers, when they arrived they were surprised how ready and organized, we were and said….this was going to be an easy move.
And I only moved, a half a mile away,
So that extra hour and a half I was charged….

They did an amazing job with unloading snd unpacking our stuff. Military moves are always stressful but they made it a little easier on us and we appreciate them a lot.
