When do you submit the paper work to the DMV? I bought my truck in April, tags are due in August and according to DVM you still have not submitted the paperwork. What does it take for you to get it done?

I stopped in with a question about my credit card. The teller was very friendly and made an extra point to fulfill my concerns. I had 2 bank tellers samanth and Dallas that came out to me in the paking lot to help me. THEY WERE VERY THOROUGH AND PROMPT. I had amazing service.

I would not even give this bank one star, my daughter went and bought a car from a dealership who safe loans money to and the car was deemed unsafe to drive. They tried to make her keep the car and told her to bad we threaten to get an attorney and they made her swap the car for a more expensive vehicle just so she could have a car that was safe to drive. They lied on her application so she contacted safe credit union concerned and safe credit union has told my daughter that it's OK. The dealership actually owns this car and they don't care that the dealership is a bad dealership to just leave them a yelp review you banks are part of the problem and you are the reason why dealerships like this can scam people out of their hard earned money shame on you. We have an attorney involved because this isn't the only car we've gotten off this lot both of my daughters bought cars from this guy. This car dealership is known for these guys coming to peoples homes and threatening them for money and now my daughter finds out they're the ones who own her car and can repo it at any time and the bank doesn't care safe credit Union is part of the problem because you allowed the scammers to stay in business

Horrible location, tellers don't seem to know what they are doing. They had me waiting for an extended period of time just to send me on my way with no help. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here enough to the point where I am questioning if this establishment is starting to go downhill to the point where I will need to withdraw.

SAFE is so difficult to do business with for a small business. They have made multiple deposits to other members accounts, branch closed for months do to no staffing, can't make full change for us most times we come in. Asked for a small exception for our small business (to have some change made)and they said no its our policy that the employee has to be on our account or on a special form to make change? Come on make an exception to get some coins! Maybe Safe should spend money on pay for their employees and training instead of $10,000,000 plus sponsorships for the Sacramento Convention Center. This is not how a credit union is supposed to act. Credit unions are supposed to be here for their members and to help them.

Tellers are always pleasant to interact with. Management seems to care when you need help. I've been a member since 1980.

Can I just say how much I ADORE Safe Credit Union???My account was unfortunately comprised(most likely from online holiday shopping), and I had to dispute a charge and cancel my debit card. When I say the process was not only painless, but a delight, I mean that with my entire heart.I came into this branch and worked with Rachel G. and oh my goodness, what an absolute gem she is! She was so sweet and funny and helpful! She was extremely thorough and walked me through step by step on how to set my new debit card up. I woke up this morning with anxiety from the fraudulent charges and I’m happy to say I now feel completely at ease with the entire situation. It’s hard to keep your information secure these days online, hackers are faster and smarter than before. But I firmly believe it’s very telling in how you’re treated by your banking establishment when it does happen. I feel safe, confident, and secure in the event of if this ever happens again, I know I’ll be in good hands. Thank you Safe Credit Union, and a big special thanks to Rachel G.! You’ve made my day, and I hope this review can do the same for you!

I have had SAFE Credit Union for over 15 years and this is by far the best credit union I've ever experienced... I won't bank with any of the larger banks. First off, the people in the Folsom office as well as on the phone are always very prompt, helpful, and kind. I get the job done with ease and speed. The services offered - savings, checking, and their credit card are top notch. I can take a cash advance without any additional fees and it's the same as my regular APR. I can make payments or transfer funds between my accounts online very easily and securely. When I was traveling, they were very good about letting me know they would monitor any fraud and to update them when I was leaving the country so I would have no problems. I've never had to deal with fraud issues as a result. Overall, I plan on staying with SAFE for as long as they are open. I will never close my accounts! They are the best!

Rarely any long lines and great service. Ever since the local SAFE closed this is the closest branch to us from Anatolia. We have been banking with safe for about 15 years and have been pleased so far. The only thing I don't like is the length time it takes for an electronic transfer from and outside bank to deposit. It seems like the larger the amount the longer it takes to show up in the safe account. Luckily these are not accounts that I rely on daily.

Beware: Dangerous business practices, rigid policies, profits over customers company culture SAFE CU has had me as a customer for years. I got a car loan through SAFE that I paid off early (the car was a lemon and the dealer really pushed SAFE CU for financing - coincidence?), and I had the Platinum Credit Card (which they called me and asked me to sign up for because I had been such a good customer) that I had used for a while and then completely paid off. I left this card alone after that, on a mission to pay off other cards. Well recently I found out that I had a fraudulent charge on my card after that and it had been accumulating interest and late fee for a couple months. I got ONE voicemail from SAFE collections to call them back and ZERO postal mail and ZERO email, (mind you the voicemail just says call us back - sounds like spam - nothing about any delinquency or issues with my account) I check my credit report and I have AN UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT HARD INQUIRY FROM SAFE and marked delinquent 60+ days. Okay, I understand that credit unions need to report delinquencies - would be nice if they tried to get a hold of a good customer first TO CONFIRM THIS WASN'T ACTUALLY FRAUD, considering I've been a 6 year customer with no issues, but okay what I do not understand is the UNAUTHORIZED HARD INQUIRY. My credit is shot - spend years building it up, and this just DROPPED MY CREDIT SCORE 150+ POINTS - and now the POS car I financed through SAFE is rolling on borrowed time and who will finance me now? I call them back and I speak to a very rude woman Chris who tells me that my card is being closed and I should have checked the statements. She's speaking to me like I am the biggest idiot in the planet. I go round and round with SAFE CU for weeks trying to dispute the charge (too late, past 90 days), and to dispute the hits to my credit - the Hard Inquiry being something I am not even sure is legal I EVEN PROVIDE PROOF FROM THE IRS THAT SAYS SOMEONE HAS TRIED TO USE MY IDENTITY. I even say to the woman Vikki, who bless her heart I think is at least trying to maintain some decent level of customer service, I even say to her, "Hey - I will pay the charge, I get that VISA or whoever won't let you go back, can you just please help me dispute this major CREDIT HIT since this is going to cause a huge burden to my family." She says yes, we can work this out, and then tells me how to dispute with Transunion and SAFE to get the Credit Marks rescinded. So I write the formal letters and submit documentation showing proof my identity was stolen and reiterating my stellar history with this bank - nope SAFE throws it away; declines the dispute inquiry by Transunion before even processing my dispute with them (confirmed by another SAFE associate I spoke to). Vikki calls me the other day to just confirm they are not planning to pull the UNAUTHORIZED HARD INQUIRY and delinquency. She says some pillar of freaking humanity named YVETTE proclaimed in a meeting something to the tune of 'well we can't help all the good customers, or we'd have to do this for everyone.' Thanks a lot Yvette, really profound. YVETTE - I wish you life experience necessary to make calls like this, because right now you are lacking CHRIS - you need to retire VIKKI - I would have given this place 1 star, I added a star because you at least maintained some customer service, while trying to keep your bosses/company happy.
