This pharmacy used to be fine up until a few months ago, around the time a new woman (who also happens to be responsible for all of the "mix-ups") was hired. I went to this pharmacy for about a year with no issues until this employee started getting things confused whenever I try to pick up my medically necessary, life-saving medication.Despite no changes or issue with insurance, she repeatedly says it's not working and to call the company myself. I call, no issues on the insurance end. Today, after working with three different people to figure out the issue, we find that this Safeway employee had been mis-entering information (incorrect birth date, misreading ID #, etc.).This has repeatedly obstructed my ability to maintain my health and caused me undue suffering/harm. Please do not use this pharmacy if you need your medication to live or you might die. please screen employees responsible for vital roles in the medical industry for competence. This is not a chicken-salad, this is my health.

Numerous times I wait in line at the deli and no one acknowledges you or helps you. I end up leaving with nothing. I enter my phone number and the "deals" ring at regular price so a manager has to be called, when I bring it to the cashier's attention the cashier makes it obvious they are not happy being bothered with it. The store is outdated and not clean. Too many people in the parking lot soliciting donations.

Went to pharmacy years ago and then moved. Walgreens off Sunrise has a pharmacist that is pure evil and always had a reason my Rx wasn't filled although my MD sent them to her in 3 month increments. Finally went back to Safeway and can't believe I waited so long to do it. Their staff has been fantastic and have gone above and beyond dealing with my ins and calling them etc. Thank you for seeing I get my meds every month and zero headache.

I have to give the biggest shoutout ever for the young man named Rocky who is pharmacy tech at the Rancho Cordova Folsom Safeway. He literally goes above and beyond to help the customers. He’s helped me out so much and on so many occasions. When we were in between benefits and it was difficult to find the right insurance and the price was astronomical, Rocky went way above and beyond and found my medication for a fraction of the price. It was a lifesaver. He brought tears of happiness to my eyes because I truly needed my meds and he helped me find a way. He is amazing. Also Sylvia has been helpful too. I know the whole pharmacy departments nationwide are run very thin since Covid hit us, and we all have been frustrated with the wait time, but the pharmacy department are just people too and they want to get us our meds asap, so take it easy on them. They all deserve a raise. Thank you Safeway pharmacy.

this is not the first time to a request for children's medicine, the employees answer that they don’t have one and have never been in stock, I search a little on the shelves and find what I need. It seems that the pharmacy workers do not understand anything in pharmaceuticals.

Staff are always willing to answer questions whether in person or via telephone. The pharmacist doesn't hesitate to answer questions from my family members, either, that pick-up my meds.

Poor staffing! Came to pick up my medications pharmacy out to lunch at 1:30pm only cashier to tell you he out to lunch. People don't have all day to waist there time. Poor staffing.

Im general I actually really like Safeway/ they're a little more expensive than Walmart lol- so it depends on what great deals im getting to go there, but i really have no complaints. So strangely enough you always think about "grocery store" sushi as not that great. I decided to try it today and wow- not even going to lie- it was so delicious! He even made it fresh for me and made it all salmon nigiri! It was so good and it was super cheap compared to any sushi place! I just figured I'd let everyone know to not be afraid to try their sushi!

The bakery here at this Safeway is something else. It can't seem to get its act right when it comes to donuts. I used to buy a couple dozen donuts here once a week a few years back. Then they stopped having donuts available early before 6am. If they ever did, about half the time the donuts selection was poor and some of the donuts looked pretty rough. So I stopped buying from them and just went to regular donut shops where the quality & selection was better. This morning I was in there at 5:50am to get some non donut items & I poked my head into the bakery to see if by chance they had donuts & lo & behold, they did! The case was full, the donuts looked good. Woohoo! Maybe they got their donut game fixed? No such luck though. I went to get a few dozen and there were no donut boxes below the case like normal. I asked the clerk where they were and he went to look. He came back & said they were out of boxes & he brought one small plastic container that could maybe hold 4-5 donuts without squishing them. All these pretty donuts for sale & no boxes. What a shame. Back to the donut shop I go. Safeway Rancho still can't get their act together when it comes to donuts. I do like the added touch of the transient outside your front door trying to bum change from people. Gotta love Rancho.

If you want descent customer service this is NOT the store!!!! I always have a Long wait when Checking out, have tried the self checkout only to have issues with their machines which does not happen at other stores, and I called this morning to see if they carried a product. After finally getting someone to answer the first time, she passed me on to someone else who was supposed to help me but I was on hold nearly 15 minutes, calling back 4 times only to get the same BAD experience!

Trish was extremely rude, required my whole party to show ID's to buy alcohol despite me being the one paying for it and my 32 year old boyfriend had left his ID at home. When I told her it didn't make any sense as I also had kids with me in my party that obviously couldn't drink she started whispering things instead of actually responding in a kind manner. She should not be working there if she can't handle customers. I will never step my foot in that store again because of Trish.

Terrible service by the employee ar the self checkout. As I was putting down my groceries she said, "I wouldn't want you as my delivery driver". For one I never made eye contact with this woman nor even glance at her as I was minding my business simply trying to buy groceries. She however, felt the need to rudely comment on me. As an Asian-american I felt offende and attacked as it has been evident that Asians in this country are being persecuted for no reason other than being themselves. I hope in the future this does not happen again as it will surely be a scene.

I got a cake from the bakery it was so delicious one of the best cakes I had. I also had a lovely worker wrap flowers and do a ballon bouquet She took her time on both flowers and balloons she did a wonderful job she really cared about what I wanted and how it looked she took the extra step in what I wanted.
