This is the WORST storage space ever. Close to the rail line, which means you are still close to all the homeless. Secondly, they NEVER clean here. I've been here for a month now and never saw them blowing leaves once. There's dust and leaves all over the storage facility and all of my goods are now covered in dust. Thirdly, I found a place nearby that costs less for twice as much space, is SUPER clean, has an automatic light in the unit, and is in the shade. Here at Sentry, you are limited to the yard until 7:00 p.m. when most people get off work at 5:00 p.m?? Don't expect to do any sort of organization or anything of your stuff if you have to. So, I've been trying to move out of this space since I came here and now, after being back and forth all weekend moving my stuff, but not being able to finish by freaking 7:00 p.m. last night, I have ONE load left but apparently now I'm one day over the one month I purchased, and I've sitting here waiting now for almost an hour. Their worker or whatever he is walks past me taking his dog on a walk and I explain everything to him and said remember me I've been moving all weekend long and I have one load left and still he refuses to open the door. Oh and the other day, they let a bum scream at me the other day repeatedly from the fence, and did nothing about it... they do nothing to protect their tenants. Several days after I moved all of my nice things into the storage unit, I get an email notification about how they've changed their lien policy.. I sent them multiple messages asking them to clarify in plain English to me what exactly they changed about their policy. They just kept sending me the information the same documentation over and over.. which is suspicious because why can't you explain your sudden change of policy that occurs suddenly when I bring in all of my high value goods. I think they're shiesty, lazy, rude, and just plain unprofessional. Avoid this location. I regret ever coming here I really am sad I paid 180 to store my items here for 1 month and this weirdo won't even open the gate so I can get in and get my stuff out even though he's seen me moving everything out by myself for several days. I should have known when I first got in there and I couldn't even open the gate and the lady was like you have to be rough with it and I was like I'm not going to be manhandling this door it either opens and shuts or it doesn't. So it's the job of these maintenance men to fix the storage unit doors but this office lady had to come out there and install another piece to the door and it still didn't open easily, so I had to transfer to another unit. I should have left right then. Everything is dusty, old, rusted and they have the office lady doing their job.. the workers do not do their jobs here; it's really a weird environment. They never clean it appears they're just taking advantage of staying in this place, but they don't actually do much work here. Save yourself a huge headache and avoid this location!! Shop around.. I promise you there is a much better business nearby that's cheaper with normal hours (6am to 10:00 pm).. and is clean, with normal professional workers. Don't stop here!! You will regret renting from this dirty storage yard if you do. Oh and now the main worker just walked past me and told me I'm going to have to wait so instead of letting me in to take my one load left out she's getting this nice Google review posted instead which is ironic cause if she had just let me in, I probably wouldn't have posted this, as I genuinely disl leaving negative reviews. Enjoy your Google review ma'am.

Super easy and smooth experience here! The employees were awesome and very kind. They were both friendly and quick to help. Definitely recommend if you need storage! I rented at a couple other facilities and the staff has never gone out of their way to help me like the two ladies here.

We rented a 10x10 storage unit at $178 per month. While the gate hours are pretty standard, there is no 24-hr access, and there is a slightly extended window for businesses.
The units are old, and our unit's door needed to be repaired. It was difficult to open and required us to stand on it to close. Although this wasn't a big problem for us personally, I can see how it could be a major problem for other customers. Considering the condition of the facility, it felt overpriced. The infrastructure is outdated, the safety equipment measures are not modern, and maintenance did nothing.
After several months of renting, my wife and I went to get our ski gear during heavy rain. We were both soaked due to a clogged gutter, and leakage. We reported this issue to the office and were told it would be addressed, but it never was.
We consistently paid our rent on time and never experienced a lockout, so I cannot comment on how those situations are handled.
Recently, a new facility opened across the street, offering a unit for ~$70 less than what we were paying at Sentry. When Sentry contacted me regarding my decision to vacate, I was asked if I would stay if the price was matched. I said yes. I received an email stating that the initial price I was given was a move-in special, and the best offer Sentry could provide was $151 per month. I declined and did not receive a follow-up email. Nothing pisses me off more than a lack of communication and care from management. A simple email acknowledging my departure, expressing regret at not being able to meet my needs, and reiterating their offer would have been appreciated.
While the new company's standard rate is still less than Sentry, their overall appeal is significantly greater due to the new facility. Although I am not involved in commercial real estate, it seems to me that a monthly rate closer to $100 would make Sentry more competitively priced.
The only positive aspect preventing a 1-star rating is the absence of homelessness or the long-term parking of dilapidated equipment.

This place is awesome! Anita has an incredible personality and knowledge that made my experience one others don't even come close too. Clean secure grounds, I feel comfortable with my precious treasures kept here.. I tell you honestly that when I not with me belongings there is only one place I trust and that's Sentry Storage Hazel and 50...

We rented a unit here for about 8 years and had a mostly positive experience. The office staff was always friendly and helpful, the facility always felt safe and the property was always clean. As with any storage facility, we did experience multiple rent increases but that unfortunately is how it has been at all the facilities we've ever used. Our outside storage unit got pretty dusty inside. I guess that makes sense but we've never had that happen before. The only thing that really frustrated us was the random times the office would be closed during their regular business hours.

This storage facility is secure, well managed and easy to access, but what really made the experience stand out was the customer service. Jordyn was amazing! She explained everything clearly, was so patient, answered all my questions, and made the whole process super smooth. It’s rare to find someone so friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a safe storage place with great staff, this is the one for sure!

I’ve had a fantastic experience with this storage facility. The staff is professional, helpful, and always friendly. The units are clean, secure, and easy to access. I especially appreciate how smooth the rental process was. It’s clear they prioritize customer service and take great care of their property. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable storage!

I have been a customer at this facility for over 22years. New owners bought it about 2 years ago and proceeded to raise my rent every 6 months quite a bit. I finally had enough and moved to a new facility for $70 less a month.
This was a big hassle but I was tired of being taken advantage of.
The ladies who manage it are great but the owners are terrible and won’t return phone calls or emails. I’m out! Don’t go to this place or you’ll be sorry!

Raise rates on long term customers. Falsely report storage size. Overcharge, look elsewhere for better deals! Plenty of places with cheaper pricing!!! Not 10x25 lockers, cheat you 10 sq.ft. Should report and make them properly report size like what happened to Home Depot and Lowes with lumber sizeing!
