Really fun place to visit on route 66 in Rancho Cucamonga. I believe they're only open from Thursday to Monday, so check the hours before you go. The people that have restored this building have taken great pride and have done a wonderful job. It is really awesome to be able to see a accurate time capsule from the past. There is a small museum and gift shop inside. Lots of cool Route 66 and service station memorabilia. This wonderful stop on route 66 akso has a very clean and modern bathroom!

I had a beef dip at the Deli on Wednesday. I noticed the Red, White and Blue was pretty ripped up on the monument flag pole. The guys were outside cleaning the grounds so when I rode by I pointed it out to them. The guy yelled back that they had a new one.I rode by the next day to check on it, and sure enough they had a new flag up.Kudos to you guys.

One of the best restored places on old Route 66. This was many years in the making and it has paid off. This legendary relic was in business from 1915 to 1971, and sat abandoned for several years. In 2009, this was designated as a city landmark and that's where the restoration and comeback process began. This is noted to be the only surviving service station of its kind in California. It is not hard to find as it is noticeable with its bright yellow color on the right. Be sure to park in the back. They do have a public restroom outside the building (when it's open). There is a small museum with some gas station memorabilia on the inside, as well as a gift shop. They do take plastic so plan on buying a lot of cool Route 66 souvenirs here, as well as stuff with the service station on it. The people (mostly volunteers) are fun to chat with so plan on staying for a bit. Definitely recommended when cruising on your Route 66 road trip. Please be sure to check the hours (or call them) so you can go inside and chat with the owners!

Came here on Sunday 9-19-21 at 2:30 PM. They close at 3:00 PM. People that work here are very nice and they volunteer their time. There is a small museum here and they sell some nice souvenirs. Please support them as they work on expanding this location. They even took a couple of pictures of me which was really nice.

What a delightful place for weary Route 66 travelers to dust off the long drive through eastern California before getting into LA. The owners make you feel right at home and are full of stories to tell! BONUS: The have an AMAZING (detached and ADA-compliant) bathroom that is worth the wait to use.
