They take good care of my pet and helped me be up to date with my puppies vaccines. It was more affordable to come here than other places.

Their customer service for the optimum wellness plan is unsatisfactory they don't clearly explain to you about the plan when you have to renew it.Ended up paying an extra 419.87 because of their incompetency.?will not be going back to the Rancho Cucamonga office again.

They don’t even answer the phone here anymore. I’ve been coming here for a little over 5 years and the quality of service has just absolutely plummeted. I’ve been trying to make an appointment for my dog since august and now I’m probably just going to have to start taking her somewhere else for her checkups. She’s way past due for her wellness check. I tried online and it says that I need to call for the appointment I need and they don’t even bother picking up the phone. Also every Banfield in the area is booked for the next 60 days and you can’t book ahead past that. I’ve even left a voicemail asking for a call back and haven’t heard anything.

I've used the same vet for 33 years. Papa's regular vet wasnt in. With Banfield I found a wonderful, compassionate Christian vet as my fur baby's 2nd vet

Total scam!!!! We bought the puppy plan for our German Shepard. I got an email that she was due for her final round of shots so I booked immediately but, online booking only had 3 weeks out. Now they are telling me the puppy plan expired at the end of august and will not honor the plan that I already paid $1k+ for. They tried to tell me I should have called. Terrible customer service and a complete scam. Never bringing my animals back here.

Yesterday was a horrible day. We had to put down our beloved dog. The staff was caring and kind, but we are devastated. Today, I called to cancel our wellness plan, for which we have been paying faithfully over the last 13 years. (I continued to pay for this plan even during times when my phone calls weren't answered, messages weren't returned, vets weren't available, in-room appointments weren't offered and other customer service failures occurred.)This is the part I couldn't believe: I was told by a associate that we'd have to pay the FULL AMOUNT of the plan to the end our contract year, plus some other charges which were not explained well (the associate had a thick accent and was difficult to understand). I short, they wanted me to pay another $250+ IN ADDITION to the nearly $200 I paid them yesterday for the euthanasia service. ("Well, that's not part of your plan," the associate curtly said.)The cost of the wellness plan is high enough (and was even raised a while back without notice). But continuing to charge me after my dog has passed away and can no longer receive the services that Banfield is obligated to supply seems heartless, unfair and just plain morally wrong--especially after all the money I have paid them over the years.Shame on you, Banfield, for this uncaring, money-grubbing policy. I can understand a penalty for people who sign up to get discounted service once or twice and then cancel. But to do this to a long-term customer grieving the loss of a best friend is just about unforgivable. Please BEWARE before obligating yourself to an OWP with Banfield. If your dog passes away, the grief of loss won't be the only pain you have to deal with. For those of you have shared my experience, I think it might be wise for us to explore a possible class-action lawsuit. I suspect there are a lot of us out there.

I have been here several times, and 1/2 the time they can't even accomplish an ear swab. I will be ending my membership as soon as I can get out of the plan. Twice, I have had to do a Q-tip ear swab myself, because they couldn't do it. I told this to a supervisor because I couldn't even get them to do the vaccines the plan pays for! When I informed the supervisor that on TWO occasions I DID the ear swab at the hospital, but she didn't believe me when I reported this!! That more than anything was the tipping point!!! Her assertion was that the assistants aren't allowed to do this. But, they asked me to do it. And I successfully did it. That's fact. I'm writing this whole sitting outside while they struggle to treat my dog...And guess what, the assistant asked me to come in and help with my dog for the earswab, but this time I'll remind them not to ask me to do it, since they're not allowed!

Rushed over for a life threatening emergency for my dog at 6:00 and needed urgent help. The doctor denied us by saying they clock out in 45 minutes and there’s nothing he could do. Terrible service and no urgency to help us. Turned us away immediately and told us to go somewhere else. No care for a life threatening emergency.

Rushed over for a life threatening emergency for my dog before 6:00 and needed urgent help. The doctor denied us by saying they clock out in 45 minutes (they close at 7) and there's nothing he could do. Terrible service and no urgency to help us. Turned us away immediately and told us to go somewhere else.

wow I don't even know where to start. I took my english bulldog in bc shes not feeling well. I get a call shortly after drop off saying to fully diagnosis her problem but my problem was the $1600 they wanted to charge me. I refused but when i went to pick her up they tried charging me for meds couple hundred dollars. Like I previously said never got diagnosis so how are they giving me medication without knowing whats going on. On top of this the young uneducated employee couldn't even give me the breakdown she argued and refused to let me know when the manager worked nexted told me she couldn't give me a yes or no but instead told me she couldn't give that out that I would have to call back. I was a customer of banfield in Arizona and was wonderful but experience here was crap. I will NEVER go back and warn othes as well. Pay attention they try to make a sale when not needed they are all liars and can't be trusted at least with my fur baby. This location is a flipping joke. Save yourself the head aches and just avoid this place

Dropped off my dog in the morning and was so grateful they took us in. Our 13 y.o. dog had bloated stomach, a respiratory issue and just was not so doing so well. The vet there was great he showed us the X-rays and and the blood panels explained the 3 options of what our dog diagnosis could be none with a great prognosis. He Left us in the room with our dog and said the techs would be in with our paperwork and copy of the X-rays. We waited 45 mins nobody ever came back in the room. We looked in to back work area and finally opened the door and said you know what we’re gonna go we were already just so sad for our pup it was just stressing us out being there. The lady looked so surprised we were even in there and asked what we were waiting for. I explained. She said oh let me see what I can do. I had been up past 24 hours at this point d/t the fact I’m an night shift ER RN and im exhausted. In my mistake due to my exhaustion, I said no it’s okay we’re gonna go. Which was a huge mistake. We need the results to take to an emergency hospital so that they will to drain the fluid from my dogs abd. 2 pet emergency hospitals later, They won’t touch him without them and we can’t afford to pay another 700$ just for them to run the same diagnostics for the same results then another 600 for the abdominal paracentesis. I called today for help in getting my results they lady states, oh we can try and email them out after 2 because the person who sends out the X-rays is busy with our pets and has to take care of them first. She said this even after I explained my dog is having trouble breathing at times. Her response was we have to take care of our pets first. All im saying was where was that treatment of, “taking care of our pets first” yesterday cause they just abandoned us. Im just so drained at this point. My dog is going to die.
