In short, Rancho Regional is overpriced, unorganized, the staff is rude, and they have no issue wasting your time. If that's enough of a review, scroll past. If you'd like specific details, read on. I don't think I have ever waited less than 10 minutes on hold when I called the office and the wait times in the waiting room for appointments were also often way past the appointment time. The front desk turnover is ridiculous; it seems like a new person almost every visit and they never seem adequately trained to do the most basic tasks. The two "veteran" front desk staff were almost always dismissive and unfriendly. They are also really expensive. Like, thousands of dollars for feline dental cleaning. $50 to take a blood pressure, administer a fluid injection, etc. I researched the cost for these procedures in my area and this is definitely the top end. Second, I swear the clinical staff have no idea how to communicate care to owners. Dr. Contreras diagnosed my cat with kidney disease and told me in a voicemail that she would need a new diet, multiple medications, and weekly fluid injections. I called the office (and waited on hold) several times to try to get specific instructions and only got one call back with the instruction to call again. I wrote an email stating my concern and that I would likely seek out another provider if they couldn't give me care instructions for my cat. This went on for FOUR weeks before I finally asked to transfer to a different doctor. That's a full month after diagnosis my cat didn't get medication or correct care instructions. Dr. Chazaro called right away and gave me brief instructions for what to do for immediate care. She told me to schedule a vet tech appointment to begin giving the cat weekly fluid injections and that they would explain in more detail about her treatment plan. Given the typical wait times, I planned a full hour for what they told me would be a 15-minute meeting. When I arrived, the vet tech had no instructions and none of the materials or medications ready for us. He asked me to wait which I could not do. We agreed that I would leave her there and pick her up an hour later, but that I would need to rush check out due to my work schedule. I called on my way back and told the front desk person I needed to leave right away. When I got there, nothing was ready and I waited another 15 minutes. I was late to work and I still also didn't get full instructions on continued care. They had Dr. Contreras, the vet I asked not to work with, call me to follow up and she was very short and rude when I asked basic questions about medication course and prognosis. A few weeks later, I tried to schedule a neuter appointment for my puppy. The receptionist (another new one) was there by herself and didn't know how to make the appointment. She asked someone what to do and they told me I needed to call with his weight before they could make the appointment. I weighed him and waited on hold for 20 minutes before my call was answered. The same receptionist then told me she couldn't make the appointment and I would have to call back the next day. It took another call (and another long wait) to make the appointment. I was hoping this was all just growing pains and one bad doctor. Unfortunately, my experience last night was the final straw. While I sat in the waiting room, the receptionist was very casually talking to someone else. I had no choice but to overhear their whole conversation, curse words included from both the receptionist and the other person. When it was time for me to check out, the receptionist immediately got to work scheduling several sessions for the other person. They literally chit chatted loudly, and rudely, for 15 minutes and now expected someone else to wait several more minutes to check out while they finally got to the business of scheduling appointments and taking down information. The patron acknowledged that someone was waiting but the receptionist said, "it's fine" and then the two of them took se

We love our regular vet but their hours recently changed and we can't go during their regular hours. This place is open until 8 pm weekdays! I was fortunate enough to get an appointment the day after I called due to my my cat's illness. We did have to wait quite a bit, but they had tried calling me earlier in the day, asking if we could come earlier (I wouldn't have been able to come earlier anyway). Regardless, we met Dr. Pan about an hour after our appointment time, and he spent more than 30 minutes with us, carefully reviewing our cat's medical records, our description of his issues, and viewing videos we took. At the end, I received a comprehensive treatment plan with medications. I felt confident that Dr. Pan, despite being incredibly busy, had spent a significant amount of time studying my cat and his issues. I felt he really valued my pet's well being and I walked out of the hospital two hours later feeling optimistic that my cat will be soon be feeling better. Vet offices are really stressed right now and so I doubly appreciated the time the doctor took with us. Also shout out to Alice, who did blood work (they have an in-house lab which really saves time) and was good natured about the fact that my cat, having had enough of being poked and prodded, finally bit her. She was really nice about it. The front office people were great too. Thumbs up!

Be prepared to be kept waiting and be overcharged for services. Last visit took over 2 hours. 45 min to be called back. 20 -30min in the room waiting for a vet. 15 min with the vet and then told to buy many items that probably weren't needed. Another 20-30 min waiting to be seen by the front desk to check out. Disappointing practices!

Unfortunately we won't be coming to this hospital for our dog anymore after several years of bringing her here. We came in for a normal nail clipping, and the person handling her cut her paw deep enough for it to bleed. We had to go to a separate hospital up Haven to get her treated for the cup, as it was deep enough to be concerned for infection.

This office is remarkable! All the staff are so VERY helpful and knowledgeable and the care given our pets has always provided us the utmost confidence we have placed our trust in the best hands. We have never had an issue in getting an appointment within a few days, and in one instance, an emergency got us in immediately. Dr Chizaro has always explained everything fully in easy to understand terms, and provided clear instructions, both verbally and written, on the home care needed for our pets. Although we often see new faces at the front desk, everyone is always very professional, our bill is processed quickly, and we are on our way home with the knowledgeable our pet has been provided the best veterinary care available.

This is an amazing veterinary office, so caring and empathetic. The staff is loving and caring towards all of the pets that walk in the door, you can tell they love what they do. The doctor and technician thoroughly explained things in a way that was easy to understand and helped me to make decisions (very difficult decisions when your dogs are your babies). Every single person I interacted with was polite and caring. Highly recommend this office.

Came in for our last visit today. We have been coming here for the last 10 years. I've never had a complaint. Thank you for taking care of Bella her whole life with all of her sicknesses. Today we put our baby down. The entire staff was so nice and compassionate towards us during this hard time. Again thank you to all the DRs, the man who would bathe and cut her nails, and staff that have taken care of Bella her whole life Thank u

Called to re schedule but put me on hold for more than 7min and I was headed to work so I had to hang up. By the time I was able to call back they were already closed. I called the morning of the appointment and they said "because it has been more than 24hrs, they will have to keep the deposit". So inconvenient that they had to put me on hold for that long just to reschedule. I understand everyone is under staff but to have someone on hold for more than in, is absurd!

******DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! My has been taking her 2 senior dogs to this place for years. Two days ago she took her 14 year old Pomeranian in for a check up. Mind you she is partly blind and deaf with a case of alopecia. She went in to see Dr. Anna Drachuk and the assistant took her dog in the back. There were many delays in which she sat there for over an hour just to get someone to speak to her after she had a set appointment. Later that night she came home and noticed a huge bruise under her neck when she was looking up! No one has given answers to why her dog has this very large and noticeable bruise covering most of the front of her neck! Please do not take your pets to this place!

I've taken my two cats to this veterinary hospital for 14 years. In the beginning I often saw the same faces and felt like they knew my animals. In the last few years every time I visit the hospital, there's new vets and no continuity. Today I called for an appointment and couldn't get one for 10 days. That was with someone I've never seen before so I've decided to try a different clinic that can accommodate me sooner. I can't complain about the care of my animals have gotten at Rancho regional veterinary Hospital but it seems very impersonal.

My experience with Dr. Chazaro and PETVET CARE CENTERS, LLC This is just a courtesy notice that My repeated requests for RRVH to provide the diagnosis and x-rays for my GSD that I paid for on May 6 is ignored and for treatment for my GSD at Inland Valley Vet Specialists for four days after prescribing medicine that causes liver damages, I have refrained from making negative reviews on social media to give RRVH a chance to respond and make it right. Regretfully, my demand was ignored and I feel compelled to state the facts for public consumption before filing a complaint with the Board. Bottomline: The lack of response and care is appalling in my opinion. I will be serving the individual and corporation in due time.

First visit to the vet and it won't be the last. As soon as I walked in it looked so fancy. It was like a Dr Clinic (For humans) as you walk in. It didn't take long to be called in. We were in and out in less than 35 minutes for a wellness exam and vaccine. Love the nurse assistant she was amazing didn't get her name though. The front desk was extra busy with calls but that doesn't bother me at all. I know they are doing the best to help all the incoming calls. Highly Recommend this vet office to all my family and friends

Rancho Regional is now owned by a corporation and not the original vet and his family that was so caring and respectful. Rancho Regional no longer cares about your pet or you. This used to be are go to vet but no longer. We have a senior dog that we are struggling to make a quality of life call on. We called numerous times and could never get a call back from our vet. When we called to just try and get our poor girl in we were told they couldn't see us. Extremely frustrating and disappointing at how far this place has gone downhill.
