I usually love checking out different Goodwill locations around town and I've never had a bad experience in one of them until I came to this place with my fiancé. I entered the store first by myself while he finished shopping at another store nearby. As soon as I came in and picked up a few items I was interested in, suddenly a very unkempt and elderly blonde woman who works in the store started following me and watching my every step like I was some kind of monster. I asked for a cart and she laughed at me and told me to get one myself. I was nothing but kind to her. I didn't see where the carts were and was holding heavy coats I wanted to buy. I found a cart and tried to just keep on shopping around, but things just got worse with her. I felt so uncomfortable being around her but she would not stay more than a foot or two away from me until my fiancé arrived. When he did arrive, she watched both of us from a slightly further distance and she loudly spoke with another employee about how "poor" and "disgusting" their customers are. My fiancé and I were beyond shocked to hear the things they were saying. The elderly blonde woman was the most profane and hateful of the staff. From what we saw, all of the shoppers in there (even including ourselves) were dressed nicely and were trying to just have a pleasant shopping experience at what should have been a normal and welcoming Goodwill. Sadly, this place is the farthest thing from welcoming purely because of the terrible aforementioned elderly blonde worker abusing the people in there that she ought to have some respect for and a nice attitude towards. I really hope she gets some help. I'll never go back to this place and recommend nobody else does unless she's removed and put into the sort of facility that she belongs in. I feel sorry for her. If you're reading this ma'am, I wish you luck in finding some sort of decency to put into your heart and some sort of intervention to help you get the help you clearly need. Your hatefulness and lack of humanity/common courtesy is palpable and toxic. She single handedly makes going to this store a terrible, offensive, and dangerously uncomfortable experience.

We donate here, usually a couple of times a year. There are some items they can't accept, so check before you load up to drop off. They are always very accommodating and friendly for drop- offs, located around the back of the building, making it very easy to do. I appreciate their efforts.

so I was told there full and no more furniture is being accepted for donations. next dude dropped off bags and bags of clothes and an ottoman. so I asked dude I thought you said no more furniture he said it's not furniture its a ottoman, lol. I replied that's furniture not clothes. I think that long hair kid looking dirty is racist. why else would he not accept my chairs but the white dudes furniture was ok, is it because I am black?

To ever is the manager I will follow up the regional office on this matter regarding 1 of the rudest employees called brandy so called Manager I am a director for a large company & her attitude is below any retail standards I would recommend on some kind of discipline or write up as per me I will ask that her supervisor be on call for this employee.

Great place to donate, but every goodwill ive donated to has funny rules about when you can donate. The donation times are different from the store times, and they dont post their donation hours online. You just find out when nobody answers the door in the back, drive around to the front and find the person in store with no name badge checking her hair in the mirror that apperently cant take donations in the front of the store.

It's been several years since we come here last time, it's still the same...it looks like floors need to be deep cleaned because of high foot traffic. It's good store to explore and find what you want, even treasure finds!

I come here a lot. I have noticed in the past six months. It is declining in service. Employees don’t wear clean clothes. They don’t wear badges anymore. They cuss all over the place and use F bombs and talk about personal situation’s behind the front counter, while customers can hear them. the store could use some employees that actually want to work instead of stand around and look at their cell phones. I don’t know if it’s just the store most of the other ones hold the policy. Maybe it’s poor management at the store.

I go here weekly and even donate more now. I used to donate to Salvation Army but they has gotten very snobbish. staff in the donation center are very nice. stock in general have good turnover. they have an exchange policy so that's great. still haven't opened their dressing rooms but the exchange policy makes up for it.

Donations are accepted in the back of the building. There is an entrance to the alley off of Arrow or you can enter off of Haven by driving through the Haven City Market parking lot as I did. I arrived around 1:30pm was immediately met by a worker who informed me that they were already done accepting donations for the day. I gave the Upland location a call and was told by them that they were also not accepting anything. I sat there feeling defeated, knowing that I was faced with a decision. The way I saw it was that I only had two choices. My first choice was to return home with the donations after promising my wife I would get them out of the garage for good this weekend. My second choice was to be dishonest. To be wasteful and not allow our items to have a second life bringing joy to someone less fortunate. Not all decisions in life are difficult. This one was a no brainer. As I backed my SUV up to the dumpster I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye. It was a second worker! I approached him and after a brief conversation about the Polos (real ones, not U.S. Assn.) I was trying to drop off, he agreed to accept my donation. Five minutes later I was on the road heading home with a donation receipt in hand. Let this be a lesson to all of you young Yelpers out there. If you tell your wife that you are going to drop off the bag of old clothes in the garage for her, don't come home until you've done so. If Goodwill won't take them, the dumpster will. If the dumpster is full, go to the next dumpster. If there is a camera near that dumpster that has a clean shot of your license plates, anywhere off the road between Lake Los Angeles and Lancaster will work. Never give up. Never.

Dropped off some good items at this location hoping someone can use them. Their is a young man named Steven who was not very pleasant nor was he professional. He pretty much tossed items in the basket carelessly breaking useful mugs and other items. This person does not represent a "Goodwill" company, he should not work here if he is damaging items that can later be of use, I mean if I wanted to trash the items, I could have done that myself. I will now take my donations elsewhere! Thanks!

You know what to Goodwill is about. Don't be shocked when you get there. This is one of the best ones in the area.

You'll be surprised by all the new items (tags still attached, in original packages or boxes) they have at Goodwill. You will also come across a lot of name brand items, such as clothing, shoes, purses & household items. Go often because new merchandise seems to be put out daily! Great deals of the week, also. They have so many items & it might take a while to get thru all the different "departments" but it's worth it when you find that one perfect item that you didn't know you needed!! And since it's so inexpensive you can afford to pick up three or four items that you can't live without!!!
