Thank you so much Dr Henderson and staff. Everyone was Very welcoming and cared about what happened to my Olivia. Dr Henderson was the 3rd doctor I had taken her to, With no real answer from the other 2 doctors. Dr. Henderson you could tell really cared and wanted to get to the bottom of what was going on with my baby. From the 1st call I made to them I was impressed. They got me an appointment within an hour of me calling. Olivia had surgery Friday and is doing so much better, she is starting to be herself again. She had to go home with a bandage around her, it was green and they cut little hearts to put on her bandage. I saw that I started to tear up. You want a doctor and staff that care about your animals don't look any farther, this is the place. Thank you again from Olivia and myself. Y'all are amazing

Awful experience for multiple reasons. 1. Told me to arrive between 8-9am to drop off pet for surgery and to do new patient paper work. I arrived at 827 and finished paperwork at 835. Then I was told to hand around because my appointment wasn't until 920. Why was I told to arrive between 8-9am then?! 2. I was quoted $200 on the phone to castrate a kitten. I knew it might be more because the kitten needs vaccines and first exam stuff. The quote in the office was $500-$520. 3. $500 to fix a kitten?!? I had this done to my last cat. Also a little boy. He had his vaccines so it was much cheaper. It was actually almost 90% cheaper. $60. Don't go here. Plain and simple. There are much better options. Update 6/16 - we got our little boy kitten fixed, vaccinated, and they gave us some pain medication. All for $147 including tax. We drove all the way to San Gabriel Valley, but saved $350+. Unbelievable.

Brianna was the person I have spoken with the most (you are so kind!!!!) Herself, along with other staff members at the front desk were incredible and so impeccable with communication. Everyone was so kind and patient with my dog, and I could not have asked for better care. Dr. Shufer and Dr. Henderson both explained to me in detail what they had learned from her testing, and what steps to take going forward. Their personalized pet/owner care is what really sets this place apart from anywhere else.

Our really incredible pet sitter takes her pets here. She referred us to have our 20 year old cat baby Max taken care of as he was dying. They sent him out for cremation and he came back in a beautiful box. What's remarkable is that we then received a card in the mail with personal messages of condolences from the vet and entire staff. Truly a wonderful place for the care of your pets.

If I could give zero stars I would ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ! I called and made an appointment for my cats tapeworms and was told to fill out the online application as a FIRST TIME PATIENT WITH AN APPOINTMENT ! And was told they could not honor it once I got there because the other lady was misinformed. How is that my fault ??? So because she scheduled the appointment as a drop off I can't receiver the promotion unless I take her in another day for the exact same thing and that's when they can honor it ?? How embarrassing of an establishment and completely misleading ! Just here to steal money and lie for business. I was a first time patient and NEVER COMING AGAIN . Way to lose a customer. I'll be making sure to let everybody I know NOT TO COME HERE ! And I will be reporting about false advertising.

Vets are good. Still can't go in with pet. This outdated practice, 2+ years...very old.

Do not come here. Simply put, they are rude and dishonest. I feel so taken advantage of.

REPORT them to the FTC and BBB! With all the bad reviews especially concerning money, this establishment will be looked at. I'll be filing a complaint with my credit card company. They charged my daughter for fees that they never told her about. When she called and when she arrived. When we told them that my daughter specified not wanting those services, they said that it was not possible because that's not their protocol. Essentially there's a no way that their staff could have made a mistake. They blew me off with "well your daughter signed for it" and a play on technical words when I asked them to go ask the woman who had walked our dogs in. They will never get my business again and I will tell anyone who will listen how they are dishonest here. I'll also be contacting the BBB and FTC about this establishment. They need transparency here or better training in the very least. Mistakes can't be made when you are talking about money and a pandemic.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my dog here for a surgery and she was left whimpering in pain for days. They did not give even close to enough post operative care for my dog. She was unable to eat, sleep, drink, or be comfortable. I needed to stay up with her and sit with her to get her to not completely yell. Even with me there she was still whimpering nonstop. To treat a dog with so little care is way below the standard of care I expect from a vet. When I called to get more pain medicine for my suffering dog I was met with wait times on call backs, attitude, scolded, and ultimately no care for my dog. When I did my own research I found articles published by the NIH stating the care given to my dog is not recommended nor has been seen to be statistically significant in reducing pain in canines. This doctor and office staff are rude with no compassion for animals. I am truly at a loss of words for how horribly my dog was treated. Furthermore the cost of the procedure was $3000 when online it says it should be between $500 - $900. I would pay anything now to make my dog not be in pain.

This review has nothing to do with the vet as I was not able to speak with him regarding my pet. I was left in my car for 30 minutes until I called back again to remind them that I was there. At that point someone finally brought me paperwork to fill out and they left me again. I decided not to wait any longer after about 40 minutes had passed since I had arrive. I received a call from the vet on my way home in which they told me that they were behind because of two special circumstances with dogs and so they had to clean for contamination. However the whole time I was waiting I watched dogs being taken from the cars and brought into the establishment several times and also returned to the owners several times. I also saw many workers standing around the front desk not tending to pets. I would appreciate it if they just said that they forgot about me rather than not taking accountability and making up excuses.

First time here, very pleased with the staff and doctors. So nice to have a dependable animal hospital close to home. Highly recommended.

I am impressed how this vet answers their phone, very polite and caring, even in person through however many customers and pets they have working with. I have a wellness plan that can sound complicated to use at the end of my dog's policy year, and Alta Rancho Pet & Bird Hospital did their top tier best to make sure I take advantage of using those benefits!! I find out more that they offer like everything there! We love this place and very much looking forward to their boarding and dental cleanings next week

After giving him one dose of his antibiotics he's already getting better and this morning he ate. This makes me super happy to know that the antibiotics you guys gave me is working! Thank you guys so much!!!

Brought our adopted bird in to clip his wings. The staff is very rude. I thought twice about leaving him with people like that and should have listened to my gut feeling. Upon picking him up, his wings were terribly clipped. I am very surprised considering they are bird doctors. I won't be back.
