After trying a few different places, I now come here every time my car is having issues. Guillermo is my favorite. He really listens to my problem before diagnosing it. He actually cares about me and my car and gives sound advice. The mechanics worked quickly and got the repairs done sooner and for less money than I expected.

They went above and beyond to give excellent service, especially the service manager of the Rancho Cucamonga store, Guillermo Ramirez.

I had an appointment and they actually respected the time which we don’t get that often. I was in and out and I appreciate that.

BEWARE. They will ruin your car. This Pep Boys and the other Pep Boys in Rancho Cucamonga are the two worst Pep Boys locations I have ever had the misfortune of bringing my cars.I brought my mustang here to replace the fuel pump. While my Mustang was here they managed to somehow squeeze me for an extra 1k claiming my car had computer issues that did not exist before I brought it in.If you have a warranty they will exploit it and replace and remove parts to run up a large repair bill. They won't fix anything right.Eventually, I had to take both of my vehicles to non-Pep Boys auto repair facilities to have everything that they claim to have fixed re-repairedThese people do not care about their customers they are only interested in stealing from you.

Buyers beware. Terrible workmanship. Make the car worst then it originally went in for.

Had brake work done last February, they replaced everything. Brakes and rotors, &2,000. New brakes tend to squeal a few weeks as they get worn in. Up until several weeks after that, they were still squealing so I took my vehicle back in. Also, only after getting my vehicle back from them did the locking mechanism of the right-side sliding door start making a horrendous noise when unlocked which I found out a new locking mechanism would be $600! Back to the brakes, I was told the wrong equipment was used on the brakes so they fixed it all, no charge. A few weeks after that, the brakes were STIll squealing so I took it back in at 10:30am so it could be looked at. By 4:45pm I still hadn't heard back, so I go in myself. I was told something odd was happening to the brakes and rotors, "they aren't cutting right", they had never seen that. They told me since they didn't change the back rotors, they'd only charge me half for those. I showed them my original receipt and it said the back rotors HAD already been changed! They mistook the notes from the second visit as the first visit. Since it took so long for anything to be done on the vehicle, unplanned, it had to sit overnight again to be fixed. I should have read the numerous 1-star reviews for this place before I took my vehicle here. It's been so long since this incident took place and my brakes sound worse than ever STILL. I also sent this same review to their customer care email address and never heard back.

Where do I even start... Took the car in to Pep Boys as it was doing something weird on the drive home from work. The next day, they called us to let us know the issue and how much. We agreed to the repairs, and was told the car would be ready the next day. Great! Ya, so you would think. We go pick up the car, and it was doing the same exact same thing as when we brought it in. Did you even test drive the car before calling us to come pick it up?!!! Obviously not. The guy that was working at the time, was useless. He tried to tell me he couldn't call the manager. After ripping him a new butthole for 10 minutes, he agreed to call his boss. The boss guy said he would personally work on the car himself the next day. So again, we left the car. The boss guy called us the next afternoon to let us know that they misdiagnosed the problem. With that being said, we requested a refund, picked up the car, and brought it to the dealership. The only reason Pep Boys is getting 2 stars instead of one is because they actually made good and refunded my money. This whole ordeal was a complete disaster.

I think it's important to give credit where credit is due. Most people that Yelp; usually do so when something goes bad, rather than when everything goes great. This is the second time I've had a flat. Two different cars, separate occasions. My first time around it was a pretty big screw stuck inside the tire of a 2016 Honda civic, they patched it up and I was good to go in less than 20 min. This time it was our truck! But before that? I had taken it to American Tire (also on foothill), the guy took one look and said "you need a new tire. Over 200 dollars and no warranty. Took it here, and they fixed it for 22 dollars. They could've told me the same thing! They could've told me I needed a new tire. But they were honest. They kept it real. And for that? I am grateful. Meanwhile; go check out my review on American Tire! lol

Scheduled an oil change appointment with them, then when I brought the car in they didn't have the right filter. They claimed I needed to leave the car with them for 7 hours while they order the part and wait for it to arrive. They wouldn't let me re-schedule for another day saying it was their policy that the vehicle has to be left with them if they order a part. What a terrible practice to not let me know they didn't have the right parts and then try to leave you without a vehicle for a whole day instead of letting you come back later. Utter waste of time.
