Had to take my dog in and we saw Dr. Won Kim - he walked in and barely looked at my dogs foot before telling me there was a foxtail stuck in my dogs foot and she needs surgery to remove it. After explaining we don’t have foxtail plants and she doesn’t really go anywhere, he said well it’s so old so it’s probably absorbed into the skin by now. This dr was so rude and so unprofessional for the maybe 3 minutes he was in the room. We’ve been going here for 12+ years and will definitely not be going back. We miss Dr. Berg!!!

Under new ownership! And the new Dr. Won kim Vet is HORRIBLE! Rude, loud disrespectful! I have taken 4 of my dogs here for almost 10 years. In the beginning with Dr. Berg and Dr. Chazaro, you had caring doctors. This new excuse for a "doctor" Won Kim should definitely not be a vet! No compassion, no people skills! Practically refused to meet us face to face. After there was a bait and switch on us! Without any notification to us, after the surgery was performed I noticed on the invoice/receipt it had a different Vet's name that I didn't recognize. When I asked if it was doctor chazaro (as we had scheduled) I was told "No, doctor chazaro no longer works here" So without any communication with me at all, my dog went in for a spay with a doctor I had never met before. And to make matters worse, there were SO many complications!! And with complications comes MORE COST! So a simple spay became a very serious situation. It was a complete nightmare! Literally having to stay by my dogs side 24/7 in fear of her bleeding internally. DON'T TAKE YOUR PET HERE! All 3 of my dogs are NO LONGER PATIENTS! There is SO much more to this entire ordeal! Bottom line if you want your pet to live to see another day, don't go here! Dr Won Kim is a horrible vet and person in general. Is happy to take your money, but not to communicate with you face to face. And when we did meet face to face the 1 and only time, dr. Won Kim was belligerent and raised he voice was condescending and dismissive!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE. No one here has any idea what customer service is any more. They're rude and hang up on you when you're blunt and honest with them. I paid close to $730 for blood work end of May and have yet to get a call back from ANY vet to read me my pets results. They are negligent and delaying care for my pet. No one has any idea of what is going on here, no one knows who's in charge, They can't keep employees or vets. They didn't tell me Dr. Pan or Dr. Contreras( the manager) left. I've called over 20 times asking for results, to speak to the new manager, to anyone at this point and still nothing. Even sent an email and they acknowledged they received the email, but didn't respond to it. Blamed it on the new manager "Sarah." Dr Ana Chazaro AND SARAH..SHAME on you for not calling back. FRONT DESK..that's you Tiffany..shame on you for being rude. I am the most patient and respectful person, but all of you at this establishment have lost my loyalty and respect. I will share my experience with ANYONE and EVERYONE that's willing to listen, AVOID AT ALL COSTS, PLEASE!

The name is Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital. The receptionist said my dog needed a hospital. I asked for an appointment, she said Tuesday at 11 however she recommended getting my dog to a hospital! Who did I call? The Rancho regional veterinary hospital. Then she gives me a snide tone in her voice. Is this place woke or just idiotic? Keep looking around for a quality HOSPITAL who knows what they practice. I guess I’ll take my dog to San Antonio Regional Medical Center.

Rancho Regional is such a great hospital! I’ve been to very many vet hospitals and there aren’t many places that compare to here. The staff are all great, friendly, and hard working. They obviously care about your pet. The facility is clean and they typically have a good playlist playing in the lobby, creating a good atmosphere. In a sea of subpar veterinary hospitals, this place is a breath of fresh air. I can’t recommend them enough.

While the staff was friendly. I brought my puppy in to do an exam for spay. $350 later, after tests and exams, After all was said and done, they said they would email me with schedules, and I could then book the procedure. I never heard from them again, until yesterday when they texted me saying she needs rabies shot! I know many will look at this post and ask why I never got back in touch with the....I am a cross country truck driver and said dog travels with me.

If you really want to hear my experience.. FINE! MY SCOOBY IS DEAD. DO YOU HEAR ME NOW! YOUR SO CALLED DR. PRESCRIBED A FOOD FOR HIM THAT HAD BEEN RECALLED IN THE PAST SEVERAL TIMES , AFTER 2 WEEKS HE GOT SICK.. NEVER SEEN HIM SO SICK. ALL BECAUSE SHE (GUESSED) HE HAD BLADDER CRYSTALS WITHOUT HAVING DONE AN ULTRASOUND. BUT IT DIDN'T END THERE, THEN IT WAS ANEMIA.. AND ON MAY 25TH 2023 AT 11:45PM HE DIED IN FRONT OF MY EYES. HIS BODY WENT LIMP, HIS HEAD JUST DROPPED AS IF HE COULDN'T HOLD IT UP ANYMORE AND HE TOOK 4 DEEP BREATHS CRIED OUT AND DIED. DID Y'ALL ENJOY MY EXPERIENCE AT THIS VET. I'M SURE THE DR.. THAT PRESCRIBED THE FOOD IS. SHE'S NOT FIT TO BE A VET.I ADVISE YOU NOT TO SAY SORRY.. FOR THIS VET ONLY CARES ABOUT UNLIMITED FUNDS IN ORDER TO SAVE A DOG'S LIFE.

Been bringing my cat here for almost 3 years since we adopted her. Staff is always friendly and so helpful. Kiwi usually growls at new people but she trusts their veterinarian team to keep her healthy! Thank you Rancho veterinary staff <3

We have had such great experiences with this place! The people at the desk are so kind and friendly. One of my dogs was having issues and when I called, they were helpful and were able to see my pup the same day. The staff really cares about animals and I am grateful they were able to help my dog. I definitely recommend!

receptionist with great attitude but Veterinary Won Kim does not care about the dog, he is just interesting in adding services without the well been of the dog.In reply to your respond, I called next day and informed what happened and the receptionist told me that the owner Chizarro said there is nothing they can do that I will have to pay again if I want it take back.

Had a little scare with our cat but the staff was very kind and efficient in getting us seen right away. Exam and meds were a reasonable price as well. Hoping they help our cat feel better soon.

This place will give you a high/low estimate and still charge you over the high estimate. They tried to charge me $250 to get the results of my dogs x-ray's within 24 hours. I told them before they took the X-rays I wasn't paying for that. Yet got the results right after they were done. The high estimate of $150 for medication stayed on my bill along with the actual medication charges. Had to call on my way home to get them to reverse the charges. Then they charged me triple the price for the same medication another vet gave me. The whole reason I went to this vet was because they had an in-house orthopedic surgeon. Yet the main vet recommended I take him to OC because their orthopedic surgeon wasn't certified. False advertisement. I feel ripped off and wish I never went there.

The support I received back in 2020 was great. Yesterday - not so much. I brought 2 of my cats in for a wellness check and vaccines. The bill was really high but we agreed to it. We waited 2 hours until the Vet brought me back to the office and said, that they couldn't complete the vaccines in time since my cats were being un-cooperative. This doesn't make any sense. I know my cats and they are pretty calm and easy to handle - I know this from taking them to other vets. I am going to assume that they didn't know what they were doing - now the next day, my cat is keeping their distance while they decompress from whatever happened at the vet's office that I couldn't be in the same room for. I left with nothing being done for my cats and still had to pay for the exam fee. It would have been a better experience if they didn't wait until the last minute to let me know that they were having an issue. Ridiculous. Not coming back here again.
