Today is my daughter's birthday. I took her to the supermarket to buy candles at 8pm and met a very unfriendly cashier. When she saw that I only bought one candle, she knocked on the table with disdain. My daughter and I felt disrespected. This was a very bad experience. I hope she can work in the service industry with a service spirit.

What happened here? They went from the BEST Staters to sub standard. The workers spend more time talking to each other in the aisles. Checkout is slower than ever and they typically talk to each other more than the customer. I truly feel like i am interrupting them. Maybe I will go back to 19th & archibald.ANOTHER UPDATE - What happened here?? Two employees in ties (management, I assume) stood and watched as I bagged my own groceries. Wow. Frustrating?.

Took a friend shopping for groceries today & it was a pleasant experience because the staff is so helpful. My friend has a mobility health issue, & needed to use the electric shopping cart. Jasmine assisted her in the checkout lane without even having to ask. I hope Jasmine gets a raise soon because she certainly deserves it. She is bright, caring and most of all an excellent example of people who Stater Bros. hires.

On January 1st I needed a few groceries and found myself at Stater Bros. After gathering what I needed I realized that I forgot a couple of things. Standing in the 15 items or less line, I thought I had enough time to get what I needed and return to the line. To make a long story short, while leaving my guests in line, Heather assisted me in getting what I needed and got me on my way. Thanks again for making my day, we need more people like you!

I just want to say that Madelyn the cashier about 15 mins ago was SUPER unprofessional. Soon as I got up to the register she's literally flustered and rushing me even though I am literally going as fast as possible being a single dad with two sons 10 and under. She literally went around the register to pull the basket out of my hands cuz apparently I wasn't moving fast enough (mind you I'm very aware of my surroundings I'm not in la la land)Then she proceeded to have a resting witch face as she was telling me to press buttons that were not yet available to press on the card reader. The whole time I was super respectful and I just figured she was having a bad day but when she kept telling me to press the red X (when I had done it already) or hit YES (which I had done already) the system just wasn't moving fast enough for Madelyn and she was taking it out on a paying customer! I said "there's nothing for me to press it hasn't popped up yet" and she said "because u still haven't pressed the red X" with her smug look. So I just told her what's your issue? Are you like this to EVERY paying customer or just me? And she said "my computer back here has nothing to do with the card reader" which that had nothing to do with me asking what HER issue was. And she said "do we have a problem?" As if I'm the rude staff member! And I said DO YOU? Apparently so because you look all red and you're raising your voice. I asked to speak to a manager twice and she ignored my request handed me my receipt then when I went to grab it she held onto it longer. As if to start a confrontation. And she said "happy holidays merry Christmas have a food one!" As if to dismiss me lol I said "l will thanks u try too! Cuz how u look right now things aren't too merry for you."I know the holiday season is stressful but it u can't handle then DONT! It's stressful for us all, and the last thing as a PAYING CUSTOMER I want is some disrespectful unapologetic person in my face not only being rude but CONTINUING to do so after I mentioned her attitude. And even AFTER I requested a manager.DO BETTER MADELYN, I will be following up with this. I wasn't able to talk to a supervisor because my kids just got out of school and we had to rush home to meet family

I love coming to this staters I always come for my ones a week sandwich for lunch and it's my favorite place to stop and buy beatboxs the price is so good I just wish they had the new green apple flavor its my favorite

BeatBox at my local stater bros makes it so much more amazing! Hopefully they get the new flavor green apple it would make it 10x better especially during this holiday season!

Great store, great staff. My issue is with the meat department, in particular one guy. We always ask for the meat a certain way, never have any problems until he is the one behind the counter. It's always a different excuse. He has horrible customer service .
