I cool spot to stopby if you're around the area. Totally free to come in and they don't even pester you for donations. I enjoyed the art and learned a bit of history from some of the places in Palos Verdes. It's pretty small but can't complain since it's free. Plenty of parking outside and it was pretty empty when I came on Saturday. Will probably spend about 10-15 minutes.

The hub for art in its many forms in the South Bay. The gift shop offers a wide selection of creativity in ceramics, glass, wood and fiber art. Bronze art and pictures in many styles, including artistic cards and jewelry. A great place to find a gift for that special person. Parking and admission free.

PVArt Center is a small, light filled Art Center. The art is presented in interesting approachable exhibits. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. PVArt Center is well worth a visit.

The Palos Verdes Art Center is an event venue / visual arts museum / instructional space located in the Rancho Palos Verdes area. The nonprofit serves as a creative and cultural community hub intended for instructional courses, exhibition spaces and other outreach programs for members of the local community. The classes they teach here are not only for kids, but for adults and artists of all ages. The classes range from a variety of skill sets including ceramics, painting, digital art and photography. The instructors are really engaging and supportive of the work that they do! Also as a member, you have access to the facility and receive frequent updates on new exhibits and events that you are more than welcome to attend.Whether it be for a visit or for event bookings, the Palos Verdes Art Center is worth checking out!

So absolutely disappointing They are requiring the vaccine to even enter the premise!!!!! Despite the repeal of the recommendations for it by several western nations. They will not let you in!!! Just Evil!!!

*updated for Sept 2022, they're still posting that they're checking vaccination status when literally no one else is doing this. CDC posted that masks and vaccines didnt work. South Bay Orchid Society, please find another venue. This is putting a huge wet blanket on coming to your events. They discriminate against non vaccinated people. It's been proven that vaccinated people can still catch and spread covid the same as non vaccinated people, but let's discriminate and exclude non vaccinated people. Thanks a lot. Negative tests aren't enough. Seriously disappointed.

Love going to this museum. The location isn't the easiest of places because it's inside the Beverly center mall, but once you're there it's incredible. I've been a few times and the last time i went they allowed us to do a small photo shoot session for a private Indian clothing designer. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Should have opened at 9 a.m. based on the information on Google and their website, but the gift shop opened at 10 a.m. and the gallery didn't even open at 10:15.

Being culturally starved in the South Bay the PVAC is a ray of light. The exhibits and installations are wonderfully curated. A must visit!
