What a terrible experience today at Ralph's. I live nearby and come very often for grocery shopping. Today I wanted to buy the advertised 24 pack soft drink box for 9 USD. They were out of stock and I asked the assistant manager (woman, short black hair) if she could instead sell me two 12packs of the same soft drink for the advertised price. She declined and said it's not the same and that I have to pay the regular price ( 10 USD for a 12 pack). So, instead of paying the advertised price of 9 USD she expected me to pay 20 USD. What a terrible attitude towards regular customers! She wouldn't honor their own advertising, which is almost unbelievable. They should know that there are a Trader Joe's, Pavilions, Target etc and even another Ralph's nearby. Just go to Ralph's at Rolling Hills Road. There they appreciate your business. I got the advertised items there.

i had a flyer that i received in the us mail and it advertised that i could get a 5 lb bag of mandarin oranges for $3.99 at Food 4 Less. i added it to my clipped deals and i called Ralphs before i took the bus up there on Western Ave. when i got there, i only saw a 3lb bag of mandarines for $3.99. asked Lupe, the mgr to honor my digital deal for .80 lb and she refused. i had called before i went there and i wasn't treated well since they didn't honor the deal. i had called prior to going there and made sure that my digital deal would be honored and when i got there, it wasn't honored. i know that Kroger owns both Food 4 Less and Ralphs and they should have honored the digital rate. Don't waste your time with this store!!!!

This is my neighborhood market and have been shopping here for over 20+ years. I've never experienced any issues with staff, but today was an exception. I waited in line to get a few items and avoided the self serve checkout because I wanted to check to see if the store had any stock in the back of a particular item I was purchasing. I proceeded to ask the cashier if she had any additional items in the back (showed her the item) and she said I don't know, and continued to check me out. I then requested to use digital coupons on my phone and she looked at it and said I don't know how to do this! I then turned to the clerk who was with her and asked if she could help, and she said the digital coupons are hard to use and she didnt know how to use them either, really?? Ralphs, I think it would be an asset to your company to hire competent staff who want to work, and are at least willing to assist their customers!!

I like a lot of things about this supermarket. Most of the staff are nice. I like the Murray's cheese dept (now owned by Kroger?) Good parking situation. It's great to have this supermarket oasis on the peninsula. The loss of one star is that they sell The Epoch Times. That's not a fair newspaper and should not be sold next to the Los Angeles Times. While Conservatives and Liberals should all be less antagonistic towards each other and be free to think what they want... having this newspaper in the store is like selling MAGA hats at the check stands. Feel free to wear a MAGA hat but if you push them on me while shopping, I will shop elsewhere. And if I continue to see the Epoch Times being sold alongside real newspapers, I will shop elsewhere. At least with MAGA hats, you know what the deal is. But the Epoch Times is a little more insidious because it's disguised as real journalism.

My favorite Ralph's outside of Orange County. Clean and welcoming.

Very frustrating. Visited five times just to get receipt reprinted but was in vain. Met the book keeper and she said she will give me a ring back when done. No response. Few days passed. Visited again, out for lunch at 8:00am, spoke again on the phone that it will be done, no response. A week passed. No call back.

George was top notch! You guys need to promote him and give him a raise. He was quite easily the coolest cashier we’ve ever worked with.

Maybe I am bias because I grew up next to the quiet neighborhood Ralph's, but all around a great grocery store. Ralph's has a great wide selection of anything you may need, not limited to but including: - a cheese counter - hot food - a bakery - a Starbucks - organic produce - self check out - and a clearance section If you sign up as a Ralph's number, you can also capitalize on their great weekly discounts and coupons. The store is well organized, easy to navigate, clean, and has plenty of parking.

This local outlet of the Ralph's chain is outstanding and my preferred "go to first" grocery for a range of reasons!!1. Overall, good stock of needed products, especially in the produce and meats sections.2. Always-attentive and consistently-helpful associates. Their encyclopedic knowledge about advis3inf exactly where to go inside to find requested products is absolutely astonishing!!!3. Exemplary, if not unique, sense of collective teamwork dynamic among all associates I have encountered icer over several years. Great chorus; no prima donnas... very rare internal chemistry at work at this particular store, which justifies the drive to enter and shop there.Apologies that this intended short note did not stay that way...Regards to all.Stephen FrankeSan Pedro, California

As someone who has to be extremely cost effective at times in their grocery budget, I very much appreciate whomever is in charge of the discounted produce and baked goods. There is always a necessity to procure which allows me to buy more items at full price here.

Great produce section, nice wine selection and loads of cheese and ice cream options. Check out the gourmet cheese section, highly recommended.

Nice and clean store with plenty of parking in a private lot. Prices can be a bit high, but they sometimes have some pretty good deals with items on sale and coupons on the app. I find the layout a bit weird in that the bakery and deli sections are beyond the checkout registers.
