“Very delicious strawberries, great customer service. This is a really nice produce stand that sits along the San Dieguito River with a beautiful and scenic view. I bought some nectarines, chocolate covered strawberries, a basket of fresh strawberries, banana strawberry bread and some oranges. I'll be visiting this place soon in the near future.”

“Service is good. Store is well organized. Organic vegetables are plentiful. Nice array of healthy food. I would love to see more gluten-free options. Such as bread and crackers. I would also love to see organic options on the salad bar. I would regularly buy salad there if so.”

“People really underestimate just how much grocery shopping you can get done here. Yes, it's a smaller selection, yes you need a quarter to borrow the carts (I always just carry a few grocery bags with me instead and just use them to carry the food around before buying too) but the low prices of this narrow selection makes up for it entirely. I can give up having 20 different eggs options, when it means that the eggs are actually still cheap here.”

“Great store for excellent prices and value. They have many EU items, which is good since GMO items are banned there. Employees are very helpful and friendly. Subscribe to their email list you get the weekly ads so you can get the special buys before they run out.”

“Great prices on produce. Weekly flyer specials are always good too, but some only run for a day.Sometimes the checkout lines get long so don't be in a rush.”

“On our way up to Escondido, we finally decided to stop by the Farm Stand West that we always see near the 15 freeway. Our primary reason for visiting was to check out their Christmas tree options, and we were not disappointed. The farm had an impressive selection of beautiful trees that caught our attention. Ultimately, we ended up purchasing one. What made our experience even better was the super friendly staff. A gentleman assisted us in choosing the perfect tree for our home that night, but what impressed us most was his attention to detail. He even asked us about our route back home and made sure to tie down the tree securely on the roof of our SUV. We appreciated his efforts in ensuring safety during transportation. To add a touch of magic, the farm also had Santa on site, which would have been a perfect photo opportunity if my phone hadn't died. Nevertheless, it was heartwarming to see Santa spreading holiday cheer. One thing to note is that it's a good idea to bring cash to tip the hardworking staff for their exceptional service. Overall, our experience at Farm Stand West was wonderful and created a truly festive atmosphere. We highly recommend stopping by for all your Christmas tree needs.”

“This farm, tucked away in a residential neighborhood embodies the heart and soul of Encinitas. The expansive property can be used for private parties in a quaint and natural environment. Coral Tree sells premium quality, organic produce and eggs during their limited business hours. This happy place offers locals a dose of the great outdoors and healthy cuisine. The city of Encinitas boasts a perfect climate for horticulture and I am thrilled that farms like this can still be found. Spaces like this offer a sharp contrast to the widespread commercial presence that gobbles up our limited open space and improves the lives of people in our community.”

“One of the best north county farmers markets to visit. Also surrounded by other restaurants.Plenty of parkingLots of places to walk around and seeOnly cons is that it's only on a Tuesday. I wish they did a Wed or Sunday morning. City of San Marcos is growing rapidly. I hope they consider other days as well.”

“I've never had a bad shopping experience at this Aldi! They have some of the best prices for produce and eggs around. Their produce section is a bit smaller and may rotate in selection but I've always found the basics there. I also enjoy their unique snacks and charcuterie selection and of course the infamous aisle of shame, an aisle near the registers where they have random goods (from shoes to water bottles to rugs to tables, it's always fun to browse through!). They won't have too many brand names so it may look generic but the food quality is not bad. And they have a Twice as Nice policy where you can get a refund and replacement if you're not satisfied with the quality of their Aldi brands. I have heard that Aldi and Trader Joe's are related. TJ's does have nice branding and the quality might be a bit better but I'd say they are not far off from each other! The store is pretty clean too with wide aisles. The only thing is they have huge containers where they put the excess cardboard from the shelves, so that is sometimes in the way. But overall, I've never had issues with the service here. They usually have 1 or 2 cashiers but I prefer self checkout and they have 5 self checkouts. I usually do not wait in line long. and i've had no problem getting help, once I accidentally inputted the wrong item at self checkout and got help right away. Don't forget a quarter for the carts!!! You can also ask at the register for one and they will give it to you :)”

“PRICES ALWAYS BEAT THEIR COMPETITORS. WHICH IS NICE, BUT AS A CHEF, THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT IS FOOD QUIALITY, AND HERNANDEZ PRODUCE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE FRESHEST AROUND..”

“Purcase your tickets online in advance, choose a 30 minute window for arrival but stay as long as you want. We very much enjoyed our experience! The wagon ride was nice and since I don't have pre-covid experience I thought it provided a great view of the farm. The recorded history and information was hard to hear over the speakers but what I could hear was informative and interesting. The paths were nice and the freedom to walk around and in the flowers was relaxing. My 86 year old mom was with me and we enjoyed strolling the lower parts of the farm. The orchid and poinsetta buildings were beautiful. The front gardens filled with a variety of flowers, colors, benches and photo opportunities was very nice. We enjoyed a high priced strawberry shake and browsed in the nursery too.”
