“I love this boutique! Classy Closet is a wonderful consignment shop with professionally elevated, gently used clothing. It’s located in the fun little shopping center next to Sprouts in Encinitas, making it easy to stop by while running errands.
I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and I almost always find something unique that you truly won’t see anywhere else. The selection has a great mix of stylish, curated pieces, including vintage finds that feel special.
The owner, Mara, is personable, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She has helped me discover some of the cutest vintage pieces that I still cherish today. I often find great sweaters, cute tops, and fun, hip jackets that become staples in my wardrobe.
Shopping here is always a fun experience, and I leave feeling like I found something special at a great value. If you love unique fashion, vintage pieces, and a friendly boutique atmosphere, this is definitely a place worth visiting in Encinitas!”

“The store is very good. Their prices are fair and low unlike Goodwill that over charges, in my opinion. This is why I like donating here. However, donating is hard work since rarely do the staff help so be prepared to unload most items yourself. As an elderly woman, its become too difficult for me so I'll schedule pick ups or donate to Goodwill where one drives up and gets assistance unloading.”

“What a fun find in Solana Beach! Double Take is a charming boutique with a great selection of designer and contemporary brands like Johnny Was, Solid & Striped, and other beautiful resort and summer pieces.
They were having 20% off, which made the deals even better. I scored a gorgeous Johnny Was top for just $40—it still had the original $250 retail tag attached! Definitely one of my best resale finds.
I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews about the owner. I found her to be incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. She made shopping there a pleasure.
The store is also very organized and easy to browse. There were quite a few small sizes, but with a little patience I was still able to find some great medium and large pieces.
If you enjoy quality brands at amazing prices and don’t mind treasure hunting a bit, Double Take is absolutely worth a stop. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Solana Beach.”

I purchased this beautiful jacket that was a little pricey for me but one of the employees, Liz, absolutely made every effort to make the price more comfortable for me!
