Yes losing a pet is hard, but getting them poor care is even worse! $1,000 worth of blood tests and your test had no cancer named. You sent us to your cancer specialist (Another $1,000) and no cancer found, both were inconclusive!!! So why are you saying it was cancer? How do you have one named now when you never saw my dog again? But now somehow miraculously you can name a cancer that $2,000 in tests couldn't do weeks earlier, that's a miracle! The only positive result was the tick test ($75), after I said I wasn't wasting another $1.000 on blood tests that had no results with you. You had no clues as to what was wrong. The second vet we saw at your office said that with these symptoms a tick test should have been done, instead we wasted $2,000 and precious time that she went undiagnosed with a tick borne illness that could have been easily treated, but instead it became fatal. We had to then find a vet hospital to help us because of her quick decline. We did yet MORE BLOODWORK and no cancer yet again, she didn't die from cancer! We paid for the emergency vet to speak to their criticalist and NO CANCER WAS FOUND YET AGAIN. Why are you now bringing that into the conversation? You have nothing to add to this, you failed and wasted our time and its ridiculous you make these cancer statements like they are facts, when this is the first time anyone is hearing Neoplasia (cancer). Our dog had to go somewhere else to have a fighting chance and now to insult us with your so called knowledge about what was wrong with our dog that you never treated again!

We recently visited Banderas Pet Hospital with our Sheepadoodle, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment we walked in, the warmth and professionalism were evident. Dr. Braun took her time to thoroughly examine our dog, providing insightful and detailed information throughout. It's always nerve-wracking when your furry family member has medical concerns, but the team at Banderas made us feel at ease, knowing our pet was in the best hands. Thank you for the impeccable care and service!

Hands down the best facility for board and training for your dogs. They have holistic approach to pet care. The whole team is excellent and highly professional. I have been taking my dog here since he was a pup and now he is almost 2 yrs old. This place is his Zen spot. For all your dog training needs, ask for Dan. It's too bad yelp only have 5 stars, I would have given Banderas all the stars!

We are back again with Dr. Cooper and her staff. We had to put our labrador down after 15 1/2 years. Dr. Cooper took over the care of Cody who became very sick at the age of 11 due to a reaction to a medicine he was on. Thanks to Dr. Cooper, she turned his health around and we had him for another 4 years and he lived a great life in his golden years. Here we are again with our 9 month old lab "Cooper" and we are happy to come back to Dr. Cooper again and put his care in her hands. In addition, we have the added bonus of Dan Cooper who we contracted with to do some puppy training. Both Jenna and Dan have such great demeanors with patients and puppies. They take the time to listen to all the questions and offer up great advice. We are happy to be back and our Cooper clearly has affection for both. Thanks for the great service to Dr. Cooper, Dan and staff. We know we are in good hands.

I was contemplating about writing this review as I could barely sleep last night and decided I will! I boarded my Frenchie this past Wednesday. I emailed the completed forms they sent me way over a week before boarding and specified that I will pick her up on Sunday 4:45pm as they close at5pm. When I dropped her off I told the gal that upon my visit with Dr Copper (who was super nice and welcoming the week prior)that if she gets anxiety to remind Dr Cooper to give her some sedative as she recommended so that she does'nt "over heat" and I explained that she may get soft stool and that I brought wipes to wipe her for that reason. When I can to pick her up on Sunday (I called 10 minutes before I arrived) not only did she not receive the bath she was supposed to but her behind was covered with stool, her eyes were inflamed red and she was crying wanting to leave... the guy at the reception said she wasnt supposed to be picked up till Monday.. I said show me the paperwork and when we looked at it- the instructions were clear- pick up on Sunday with prior bath. Instead of getting an "im sorry about this" the owner screamed at me told me he didnt want me to pay and to "GET THE F_CK OUT OF THE OFFICE AND NEVER COME BACK" literally!!! I was scared he was going to slap me. I was humiliated... I walked out telling him I had no intention of ever coming back and he followed me to the car. My husband came out and was talking smack to my husband and the 2 friends in the car heard him, he said " do you know the suicide rates of doctors because of complainers like you"? I am absolutely shocked!!! i cannot believe the way I was treated. My dog was neglected and that is understatement, I now need to take her to another vet to treat her infection around her anus and vulva. I think this guy who claimed to be the other owner to Dr. Cooper (I think Dan Cooper) must of had a melt down on me. No business owner should ever tell any customer to get the F-K out of their business and chase them out especially when they made a mistake... Will never ever come back. Shame on them because I liked Dr Cooper - she was nice during our one visit to her.

Responsive, kind and highly trained staff. I left another popular vet in Mission Viejo and made an introductory appt with Banderas. Instantly impressed with the staff. Great communication and made me and my 10 year old dog feel comfortable and part of their 'family' Highly recommended.

Everyone at Banderas Pet Hospital were very helpful and pleasant to work with. Dr Brown is a wonderful veterinarian. She is very compassionate and understanding regarding any issue you may have with your pet. She will work out a plan for your pet that works best for you. I highly recommend Banderas Pet Hospital for all of your pets needs.

Virst time visit for new dog check up. Staff was rude and quite indifferent. Wondered why they chose to work there... Left with the feeling that they didn't care much for me or my pup.

Banderas pet hospital is the best . I have a working line German Shepard and had been looking for a quality trainer in Orange County . Specifically with experience working with this type of dog and the goals I have. I found Dan Cooper and OC working dogs on Instagram . Turns out him and his wife also have a vet clinic. I had a double dose of a check up and training. Everything was top notch. Meeting with Dan i immediately identified his skill and experience in training dogs . He was quick to see what I had done wrong and what I was doing right. He gave me skills to practice and a clear timeline of what we will accomplish and how we will get there. I'm looking forward to my training experience with him. His wife is an amazing vet who took great care of my dog ! He loved her. The lady in the front who helped - Stephanie maybe ? - was awesome! I always have a million questions about all sorts of stuff and she was super quick to help me out and give me great direction! I had a follow up question a couple days later - they have a text service where I could text photos and get a response from the vet directly!!! This will be my new home vet ! I think it's important to note that I travel here from Anaheim and I have spent a lot of time ask for referrals and doing research online and ended here! Thanks!

This is what you can expect when you have a cat boarding service with Banderas Pet Hospital. The dirty litter box could potentially risk the cat's health issue. I can't believe the animal hospital let this happen, which means they don't care about your fur babies.Update:after this review, they said they no longer want my cat as their customer. I was concerned because my cat wouldn't use this dirty litter box and would cause kidney, bladder, and urinary tract diseases.

i feel lucky to have been directed to Dan Cooper for my puppy training (by my vet in Orange). He picked up on the root cause of my little guy's anxiety right away, and started him off on a "confidence-building" program right away. What a difference! Now, a year later, I have a playful happy companion - and, as I told Dan many times - feel as if I have been the one trained - so much more confident myself in my understanding of what works for my dog.
