I don't recommend First Citizen Banks for small business, restaurant, coffee shops, bars, dry cleanings, or any type of business with a lot of daily transactions :Pros :1-The bank staff at the branch are polite.2-The Branch has a nice lobby area.3-There is no wait time at the branch.4- Good On-line portalCons :1-It is a very conservative and restricted bank,2-It does not offer a of products different than bigger banks3-it doesn't have a lot of branches4- it is closed on Saturdays an Sundays.5-The online or phone customer service representative lack of training and acknowledge in all aspect of customer relations and information is surprising . From a simple question like : can I have your branch locations in Orange County that simply can be pulled on line, to filing a dispute , the representative are misguiding.6-The bank claims they are extremally supper-protective of customers privacy and protect customer from any fraudulent activities. That claims is not correct. yest they ask for verification of the person who calls or wants to make a deposit , but if any unauthorize charges come in , they can not assist.I disputed several charges from one company with my two business checking accounts. It has been two months , I still have not received any letter with my claim number or any status .7- I received several answers on one question by talking to different people. I can tell this much, they have no problem with insulting your intelligence when they don't know the answer. Meaning providing falls information it not a problem.8- The Dispute department and Fraud department are secret department . Customers are not entitle to have their direct phone or contact information of anyone working in these department.9- Their rates are high10- The whole system that is in place is not customer friendly..

I thought I liked this bank. I've been doing business with them for years. I have a 48 month auto loan with them at good rate. After almost 2 years of 100% on time payments on that loan, I applied for another auto loan. They approved another 48 month auto loan, but doubled the rate. Their current base rate (3.59) is higher than my original loan, (2.30%) but they wanted to charge me 4.30% and we have an 800 credit score. NObody is buying cars, or doing much business. I found a great deal on an inexpensive, all electric 2020 Chevy Bolt, and my family needed an additional car that we can easily afford. First Citizens was not helpful is getting this done. Time to take my business elsewhere.

I was very disappointed by the customer service that I received from First Citizens. When I first started banking there they really had a sharp customer service position. However I felt the relationship consistently changed and it was never to the consumer benefit.

The person who I think is the manager is keeping track of how many times you going to the bank, Regardless of your banking with them or just needing some currency broken down. The way the guy spoke to me, made me feel like I did something wrong or going to wrong him and the bank some how. Was thinking about opening a new account with a different bank, but now not with them. It was purely on how he came off to me.

One of the worst banks around and the banking manager, Catherine, is the most obtuse person in the world. First she violates communication laws by sharing details of a corporation with a 1% shareholder but demands that the 99% shareholder pay all of the bills without proper documentations. Seriously reconsider if you're thinking about placing a corporate, business, or trust account with this company. Save yourself the grief and stuff your cash in a mattress OR a great credit union!
