“This review is way overdue! I stopped over at the Walgreens to set up an appointment for my Covid vaccination, but was told that I was not eligible for it because CVS had build out for it. Meaning that In the system it looked as though I had already received my vaccination. I originally was going to get it through CVS but because they were running behind schedule and the pharmacist Who would be giving the shot there was not the nicest I decided to look elsewhere. So Pam was checking my insurance, calling my insurance and explaining the situation so that I can get my vaccination at Walgreens. She spent over 15 minutes with me and an additional 15 minutes with my insurance. Which most people would not even have bothered going the extra mile. Pam gave me paperwork to go and physically talk to the CVS pharmacist which is a couple blocks away and explain to them they need to release my information so that I can get my vaccination. Anyways with all her help and fortitude to help me we finally got this done! I received my first vaccination there in June, and I'm going back to get the second round. You don't meet many people like Pam who actually cares or even will take the time to help you. I am sure there were customers behind me, that were unhappy with the amount of time it took. But I can't tell you how many times I've been behind people were I had to wait patiently as well. Pam is definitely a gem- thank you again for all your help and I hope corporate sees this posting because she really went above and beyond her job!!!”
