During my oil change here, the tech spilled quite a bit of oil down the side of my engine and didn't tell me. When I got home, there was a good sized puddle of oil in my driveway and the burning oil smell lasted a couple of weeks. My son got his oil changed here and had a strange noise coming from his engine a short time later. When we lifted the hood, we saw a plastic Mobil 1 container jammed under the oil filter housing (see pictures) and it worked its way over to the alternator pulley. Strike 2 on these guys!!!! I'd go somewhere else for an oil change!!!!

Really happy with the service and the great team. Tanner has been super at communicating and explaining issues or concerns regarding the work being performed! Technicians have been top notch! Highly recommend. Thanks Dana

Very dirty, I mean very. Made appointment, called to confirm day before. Yes, my 4 tires are in and they are ready for me. After about 45 mins of car in back was told truck that just picked up some tires had got mine by mistake or something because they could not find them. Oh, but they had some higher priced (to the tune of about 275 more) in stock and ready to be put on. Told them I lived on SS and could not afford that. Was told they would order my tires again and for me to call them in a couple of days. Brought my car back out front without putting air in the one that was a little flat. Bought tires at Walmart, and installed in about an hour and 20 mins for half the cost.

I took my car in to repair a nail in my tire and then to perform an alignment afterwards. In my appointment I said I would wait there for services. When I got there the service advisor was on the phone with another potential customer. I made eye contact with him and he did not acknowledge me. He continues with his phone conversation as if nobody was there in person even when 2 more people were waiting with me for about another 10 minutes. No urgency to take care of the actual customers in person. Ok we get passed that. He takes my keys and has me fill out my info on a paper, I get no estimate of costs. I leave to go grab food, no call. 2 hours go by and I have to call them. No update other than they are recommending a brake fluid flush? An hour later I get a call saying that they can't fix the nail in my tire because the tire tread is too low. And the alignment is not done yet! Information I could have used when I initially dropped it off. That's not the worst part. I pick up the car and the service advisor asked me if I want a copy of the alignment to which I said absolutely. Then he asked me if I wanted an invoice, as if these were not normal procedures. I drive off and my car is driving very wobbly, especially at higher speeds when the road is turning. I think to myself what could they have possibly touched to affect the drivability so much? The next day I go to inspect the problem in the first thing I noticed is that my front wheels' bolts are completely loose and I can take them off with my hand! If these wheels came off on my way home I could have gone into a major accident and could have been seriously hurt or even died.

Did a good job. The only issue I had was that the guy taking our car in was not there mentally. He kept drifting off and passing out, and it took way longer than it should have to check my car in. I hope he's okay. It definitely seemed like he was on drugs, though.

I've been on this place a 2 months ago and I had great experience !So I brought my truck again !This time was horrible !!They check me in In order to replace my tires Jack the employee left my truck running !!!!on the lift !!!!When I talked to the general manager and ask please take off the car And turned it off He went to jack the employee which literally ignored him After 5 min which he keep taking the wheels off I got mad and ask from him to turn the car off!! he tell me to be patient !!What???I went again to the general manager in order to take off the truck put the tires back and just to go to different place While they literally arguing Jack the employe ignore the manager .ridicules!!! Regarding the employee jack First I'm not working for you , you should not treat customers like that .Second don't tell excuses to customer when car running for over 10 min by saying is the automatic lights of the car !!!-None of the cars in the world will have 10 min automatic light delay -Let's say your excuse will work on ******** person you will ruined the battery if the light are running for 10-15 min when the car off -my truck lights are in auto mode This truck cost 80k It's not a truck for 20k This truck is 2021 not 1980 Third - why from the beginning the truck need to be on lift with engine running ???!!!!!Forth how come employees ignored their managers An advice to the owner of this location Better you will teach the manager to manage And better you will teach this employee to serve people And treat their cars as his car!

Service rep billed my invoice with a lower discount rate (@10%) than advertised (15%).The full inspection report indicated tire pressure was checked and showed factory recommended psi @48 on both rear tires. I bought in my vehicle knowing the rear tires were underinflated. I had purchased new tires from Costco and had them installed 2 days before my visit to Pep Boys. The work was not performed, and I ended up driving to Costco to have it inflated myself. The service rep and technicians were young, and perhaps training may improve the lack of due diligence in my opinion.Service Manager contacted me within a day to sort out the discrepancy. Problem solved. Happy customer!

Came here to get a simple brake job. They quoted me 3,200 dollars, and then they told me the vehicle is too dangerous to drive, trying to scare me into getting it fixed. I took it across the parking lot, and they did it for 450 dollars in 2 hours. They showed me pictures of all the damage, and when I showed the new mechanic, he said those parts don't even belong to my type of vehicle.

Wouldn't go there for anything more than an oil change. They changed my brakes and caused issues and when I went back to try to get it resolved, the diagnostic tech was out, they couldn't actually resolve anything, and now I have to go to a different store to try to figure out what's wrong. Oh, and there was another woman there who apparently also had issues with her brakes from a repair they had done a few month ago dropping off her car as well. Wouldn't if be surprised if she went home without resolution as well.**Update**Turns out the technician who did my brake pad replacements didn't have the knowledge of how to do so and ended up frying the electronic parking brake motor (as confirmed by a master technician at a different Pep Boys location) and breaking the caliper (confirmed by a Mazda service technician). I had to take time away from work on 2 different days to get all of this finally resolved and the service manager, Tanner, at this location still hasn't taken full responsibility and begrudgingly took care of the costs associated with their mistakes only because I was able to get the area manager involved. Apparently fixing the things that they broke is being "more than generous" according to Tanner and asking for them to take care of the cost of an oil change for all the trouble I've had to go through means I'm trying to exploit their business. Meanwhile I'm out hours of my time, days without a car and a lot of heartburn and headaches from having to deal with trying to get things fixed and making sure that I wasn't going to be raked over the coals in the process. I will never come back to this location and I recommend no one else does either.

Did not tighten lug nuts!!! I recently had new brakes installed. PEP Boys employees did not tighten the lug nuts on the wheels after the work was done. I did not find this out until after driving the car for over 100 miles with my wife, two daughters and two grand kids in the car. So Easter Sunday I came out of our house to see a lug nut laying in the street in front of our house. I'm thinking no way so I checked my car to find three lug nuts missing and the others only hand tight. Are you kidding me!!! I checked the other side of the car and those lug nuts were only snug at best, not correctly torqued and tightened. PEP Boys was closed today, lucky for all of us, so I bought new lug nut from an auto parts store that was open on Easter Sunday. At least somebody cares about their clients because clearly the people at PEP Boys don't care about safety or have a quality control plan in place to eliminate these types of failures and this one could have been catastrophic. We were planning to drive to Utah today and If I had not walk to the street to see what was laying there, who knows what could have happened. I will reassure PEP Boys that one of their gee we're sorry responses is not going to cut it. I'll never go back and if you do, take a wrench with you so you can tighten the lug nuts yourself because PEP Boys doesn't.

I’m never going back to pep boys. I got my drive shaft replaced and when I got my vehicle back I was hearing scratches under the floorboards. Turns out these jokers didn’t reattach the hangers for my exhaust system. Could have easily had it fall out while driving and could have caused serious damage or an accident. These guys don’t put you or your car first. They just want to rush u out after getting your money

Rude, unprofessional and disappointing to me.First, I arrived and had to wait for an unreasonable 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, even though the shop didn't seem busy. Finally, when they helped me, they couldn't finish the service I asked for. Instead of saying sorry or trying to fix the problem, they immediately tried to sell me more services at really high prices, like they thought I was easily fooled.Even though they couldn't do what I wanted, they insisted I pay for the time their technician spent on the incomplete job. It shocked me that they demanded payment even when I said I wasn't happy and didn't want to pay. And to make it worse, they could simply wave the amount they asked for but they said they will not wave it, which made me feel like they didn't care about my concerns. The disrespect I experienced during this whole thing was worse than I expected. After reluctantly paying, I got my car back from the mechanic's shop. But to my surprise, there were dirty handprints all over it. These marks were unprofessional and really hard to remove, so I have to wash my car again, even though I had just washed it literally 2 days ago.! like bro really??! The mechanic clearly didn't care about keeping my car in good shape or paying attention to details. It was disappointing, just spent a bunch of money for nothing!Based on my whole experience, I strongly suggest avoiding this mechanic. They make you wait too long, try to sell you things you don't need, disrespect customers, and don't take care of your vehicle. They're not a trustworthy business. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment I went through by staying away from this place.
