I started going to Red Persimmon during Covid when my previous manicurist from another local salon left. I found Mai and Tannie have been there since! They are both meticulous, spend their time, are always genuinely friendly with big smiles. They know and appreciate me and for that I'm grateful. Of course sometimes there are scheduling issues but have learned not to see anyone else as I had issues with others. They have also very safe & clean during the pandemic.

They did my manicure and pedicure at the same time and I was in and out in 30 minutes. What an enjoyable experience!

I've been here twice to get a gel fill. The first time I was really happy but the second time was a different result - I felt rushed, my nails look bad and have already started to chip after 4 days.

I've been coming here for about a year out of convenience for my kids school being nearby. Being able to get a pedicure and pick them up afterwards was perfect. I never get manicures but with my brothers upcoming wedding, I got one. It was TERRIBLE! My pedicures have always been great but this manicure was atrocious! Cindy, I believe her name was, did my manicure. I checked with her and the girl that runs the front desk about how it looked and both assured me it was good. After asking a few friends, sending the pic, I was assured it was NOT. I always loved going here but never again.

this review isbfor April 30th 2022!First of all this place is not clean at all I had to ask them to clean the chair before I sat there; something they should do after every customer leaves or at least sanitize it especially if the last person had ate something there. Hair & staples stuck in cup holder (see photos) Also it was very dusty there. Their nail polishes are all old & empty. Socond, they dont take cards (Amex) because they dont want to pay tax, eventhough I called & asked before going there. I also asked if they were busy or we could be seated right away they said they're not busy but we still had to wait a while for them to start. They barely speak English & way too much miscommunication plus very rude to me & my MIL when they charges her the wrong amount. they ask for venmo & cash when I got my card out. after charging on visa card they pretent they forgot to charge the tip so asked for cash AGAIN. they rushed both of our manni & pedi, cuticles cutting was painful & they didnt let layers to dry so my nail got ruined after I left. We are not going back there even if they offer free services. Save your money & find a decent nail salon who cares & respects their customers & their business.

Love Red Persimmon! I've been going here for a few years now. Everyone is so friendly and does a wonderful job. If there are ever any issues once you leave they are happy to fix it. Today they were so busy but kept everyone moving. And the gentleman working gives excellent foot/leg massages which is hard to find lately.

Call to see if they could take a walk in and they said, sure come on over! When I arrived I had a friendly welcome and service right away. Very attentive and friendly. I like how the chairs are arrange for a pedicure as I could still sit next to one and don't feel like I'm breathing their air so to speak. Requested a holiday theme and received what I requested. Positive experience. Please note I only reserve five stars when I have a spectacular experience. Overall it was a really nice salon. Clean and well organized. Fast service but not sloppy on work. I'm sure I'll be back again.

I wouldn't recommend this place.I went in the Saturday before easter 4/16/22. This picture was taken on 4/17/22, the next day. This review is being written on 4/18/22.I drove from Mission Viejo to RSM to meet a friend for mani/pedi's. We were seated right away since we were the first in line at 10am, which was great, but for some reason, they couldn't sit us next to each other, but rather semi-behind each other.No worries, it is what it is.Then they ask what color we want and I opt for a rainbow of 5 (see pic). The gal went back to get the colors for both myself and my friend and told me that she would have to charge me extra because I'm using "more color". LOLLet me just say that having THREE other nail salons right next to you, you shouldn't be up-charging AT ALL, let alone for something as silly as this.The shape of the nails were good & the gal was nice, but the tips of the nails were left all jagged. I actually left loving my rainbow of color only to wake up the next morning to THIS. (See pictures) :(As a busy mom, I already run short on time so it really is hard to get back in to ask for a fix. I just won't be coming back and neither will my friend.I'm super bummed!Services: Manicures

Unfortunately, I have to leave a less than great review for this salon. My experience while in the salon was great. However, after my pedicure was completed, I realized that the technician had cut my toe nails all the way down to where my nail connects with the skin underneath my nail, leaving no free edge. So now both of my big toes are extremely tender as there is now skin exposed that is not typically exposed. I have also noticed that my manicure is already chipping, and it's only been two days. It also appears that the top coat used is much stronger than the polish I chose, so it's very easy to see where the top coat was applied and where it was not. I love getting my nails and this was a disappointing result, unfortunately.

This is my favorite nail place! I won't go anywhere else anymore. I get regular nail polish pedicures and it never chips off.

I've had 2 wonderful experiences here so far getting Gel X and pedicures. Everyone is so kind and does an amazing job. Donna did my Gel X nails today and I requested a fun design and she nailed it.
