Tehama District Fairgrounds hosts a variety of events, from monster truck shows to rodeos, quilt shows, and tractor shows. Attendees praise the venue for its great crowd, good energy, and family orientated atmosphere. Parking is inexpensive at $5 for the May 1‑4 fair, though some visitors find the entrance and exit confusing and recommend calling the main office for parking arrangements. The fair offers mobile golf carts for those who need help getting around, but uneven pavement and curbs can be a challenge for people with mobility issues. Facilities need improvement: several stalls do not latch closed and portable bathrooms are limited. Despite these issues, the fair remains a popular spot for families. The ambiance is lively and there is something for everyone, from monster trucks to paranormal shows. Visitors enjoy the wholesome northern California environment and look forward to returning.
