I have been using this storage for 2-3 yrs now and I feel they are the best facility in Redding, CA...I wouldn't recommend any other spot...Very clean. Friendly, Professional, and very, very. Very safe...

Wow, let me tell you about this fine place, first off you can tell that these folks are trash, by the looks and smell of this place, un professional, trash, slop, pure junk. I have been held captive before as the gate let me in but not out. She's lucky i didnt press charges on her for abduction. Save ur self the hassle and unprofessionalism and go anywhere but here. I wasnt even the renter, i was just helping a friend. And just remember i told u so!!

We've been customers here on and off for 10 years and rented several units/spaces, and have never had a problem. Something has seriously changed for the worst. I'm in paramedic school most of the week, for 10 hours at a time. On my way home I noticed 3 missed calls from Tarmac Storage with no voicemail. I get home around 8:30 pm, and I noticed 3 more missed calls from Tarmac. I return the phone call, and begin speaking with Elaine. Elaine proceeds to tell me that my trailer must be moved at once because they have a tenant who allegedly is unable to park his RV due to our trailer being beyond our space lines and inside his space. This is patently false because we always take the time to ensure we park within our space to avoid situations like this. I explain to Elaine how this phone call is highly unprofessional and irregular since it is well past business hours and asked why it couldn't wait until the morning. She declined to answer and again insisted that we move our trailer. I told her we would not be able to address the issue tonight or most likely wouldn't be able to tomorrow as we have other commitments in place. Elaine again insisted that we come out to move the trailer. My wife got on the line with her and told her everything I did. Elaine countered that we were wrong and that the trailer has been inside the neighboring space for a few weeks now and she saw it herself today. My wife apologized and told her that we won't be able to come out tonight and we may not be able to make it out tomorrow either, but that we'd make it out as soon as we could. Elaine rudely started interrupting my wife and wouldn't let her finish speaking. Elaine then threatened to charge us the additional cost of renting another space and said we'd "be okay with it". My wife said no, we're not okay paying for an additional space we weren't using. Elaine continued to mock and interrupt and then hung up on my wife while she was telling Elaine we'd come as soon as we were able to. We've got no issues moving our trailer if we were over the line, but we were not. I just can't comprehend why at 8:30 pm I get called three times, and then threatened with fines for not dropping everything in my life to address a non-emergency after hours when we can't even get inside the gate that closes promptly at 8:00. I don't appreciate being threatened by a business my wife and have happily used for nearly a decade over something that is clearly not an emergency.

Staff is friendly. Units great. Clean yard little clutter but no biggie. Onsite restrooms. Highly recommend.

This is not a bad storage facility although the people that manage the place seems a bit weird it's kind of like the storage shed Hills Have Eyes the storage shed from hell it is a safe place and it is reasonable but it just is a strange place

American Storage at this location was amazing! The lovely lady at the front desk was friendly and professional as well as compassionate! I enjoyed speaking to her about our kiddos and she really helped my family and I find the exact size unit we needed and helped me to relax as we were panicking on finding one that would fit our stuff! But they had just what we needed! And I can not say enough about how kind she was! They are amazing and I highly recommend doing business with them!
