Drove all the way up from Chico because as a kid I remember seeing these commercials and as a redding native wanted to give them a shot.. i was wrong to buy here unfortunately. They had a RAM i wanted listed plainly on their site, listing all the discounts and “final price”. It got very uncomfortable in the sales office when we were running the numbers because they wanted to try to sell me the truck for a lot more than what was listed on the website, and I had to pull it up on my phone to show them that this is what they’re offering this truck for. They told me that Stellantis sets the prices and that if they actually sold me the truck for that amount that they would make no money on it. Well… Sorry not sorry. That’s what it is listed for. So after threatening to walk out, they gave me the truck at that price and after a long day at the dealership I drove home. I must say Diane in finance (different from sales manager who did my paperwork at the very end) did a great job and should probably be running the place. My truck just got out of the shop after three months because the steering wheel is coming unglued where the leather is and they had to do an immediate update due to it possibly going to throw a check engine light related to misfires. I had called the sales manager named Donnie to talk about getting an extended warranty or something for the truck and he told me that Annette would call me the next day and she never did. I hope this review helps and deciding where to make your next purchase. I know that I won’t be back if nobody reaches out to me.

Noé in the RAM service department did an excellent job repairing my Ram Truck. It turned out to need a new transmission. Rides smooth now! Already referred my friends!

Here’s the updated review with the adjusted spelling:
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Crown Motors of Redding, CA. I purchased my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie package from them, and from the start, things were off. After spending an entire afternoon with the salesman, I was eager to leave and didn’t inspect the truck closely—until I noticed a misaligned door. When I brought it up the next day, I was brushed off with “it’s well within RAM specifications.” It looked terrible, and only after threatening to return the vehicle did they finally fix it.
Fast forward to 2021, my truck’s radio failed while it was still under warranty. They replaced it at no cost, which was a relief at the time. However, in 2025, the radio failed again—this time affecting the navigation system. I was hit with a $200 diagnostic fee, and my truck sat in their shop all day with no updates. It wasn’t until just before closing that I learned I’d need to shell out nearly $1,000 for a new radio because it was “no longer under warranty.”
With less than 30,000 miles on a six-year-old vehicle, I feel this is clearly a recurring manufacturing issue, not my fault. Moreover, Crown Motors should be more actively pursuing their customers’ best interests with RAM, the manufacturer, instead of leaving us to deal with these repeated problems on our own. It’s frustrating to keep facing the same issue after such a poor initial experience, and I expected better customer service and support. I hope they take responsibility for these issues rather than forcing me to repeatedly pay for a faulty product.

Crown Dodge has been great. I purchased a 2021 Challenger Scat Pack Wide Body and the salesman was wonderful to work with. No high pressure BS. In 10 weeks he called and said my car was here. Yahoo!Since my purchase I've had them do all the servicing. And I had them install lowering springs. My only fault was with the last service when the mechanic somehow changed the dash layout. I ended up having to return to the dealership the following day and have them set the display back to where I had it. Other than that, they're great

I got a vehicle from here in the beginning of the year and I have had nothing but problems and they say they fix em get the car back and it's just the same so it's got to the point of them telling us nothing is wrong with my car and they can't do anything about it ?! Excuse me. I'm a mother with two children who deserve to be in a reliable vehicle that I'm paying 16k for. I have had more time spent in rental cars than i have my own vehicle and not only that but every time I get my car back from crown motors it has 5 miles- 12 miles in my vehicle ! THEY HAVE THERE OWN GAS WHY CANT THEY REFIL MY TANK TO WHERE IT WAS LEFT WITH THEM?! They had talked us into buying this car instead of the one we wanted imagine that. They probably needed to get it off the lot and knew it wasn't in prime condition like we were told and swore. I wouldn't recommend getting a car through them unless it's brand freaking new with 10 miles on it because they are not very truthful about the vehicles conditions clearly.

Absolutely terrible!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT I took my truck in for windshield leak. However, my headliner was wet and carpet was completely soaked. My F150 was still under warranty. Two weeks later I got it back. With a gouge in my sunvisor window tint, and a crack in the windshield and for them to not even replace the windshield and just try to seal it from the outside. And the headliner still smelling like mildew. I am mediately pointed these things out to the service department Frank however, he stated that he would have to check into it the following week I contacted owner, Steve Roberts Steve said that he would get it fixed. All the damages that they caused. However, now that they have replace the windshield, replace the headliner and replace the window seal. not fix initial problem . due to a rough spot in the corner paint of the windshield. I asked Frank the service associate isn’t that still covered under the Ford factory warranty he says yes but we’re not fixing it. In fact we’re not doing any business with you or any further warranty work on this truck. I said if you guys would’ve truly assess the damage the first time you would’ve seen the rest spot and replaced it properly. I think the poor management of the whole Crown team and the owner should be ashamed on how they conduct business and not even properly fix things and create more damage for the customer than what the vehicle arrives with.

I called crown motors after my check engine light came on and they told me I could bring my car in at 1pm. I was quite ecstatic about this as the two previous providers weren’t able to get me in for over a week. I got there early, dropped off my keys with a gentleman at the service area and he looked surprised when I told him I would be waiting in the lobby. Once the service manager, Cody, returned from his lunch he explained to me that they wouldn’t be able to see my car until the next day. I’m obviously surprised and asked why I was told to bring in my car so early. The remainder of my time there he belittled me (asking if I contacted the service shop in the town I lived, 30 miles south) continuously interrupted me (after telling me not to interrupt him when I corrected his misinformation due to his interrupting me) and his general lack of customer service was astounding. He informed me with only 2 service technicians at his shop, they are incredibly backed up. My notes to his employer: This “Manager” needs to be educated on proper customer service and how to speak to ALL customers. You may also want to look into why you only have 2 service technicians, if your benefit package and pay is competitive, your “manager” my be the problem as to why you can’t gain and retain employees. My notes to those considering this place for service: When you drop your vehicle off, don’t expect anyone to look at it within a REASONABLE time frame. It will sit for hours, if not days before getting looked at. Don’t send your wife/girlfriend/daughter as they will get treated with absolute disrespect. Cody must get all of the respect while not caring to hear any valid concerns nor even listen to what is going on with your vehicle. Crown Motors and especially Cody: DO BETTER!!! Very impressed from our first contact with salesman Mike A. He was friendly, informative without aggressiveness, and answered all our questions. We are returning customers having purchased here before and ended again with another vehicle purchase. Would recommend this company to all for purchase and/or information of their products.

We were traveling through the area and had a "check engine light" come on on our Brand New Ram 2500. While they didn't sell it to us, their service was unable/unwilling to even run the diagnostic while we were there (~2:30 pm/Tuesday). While we understand to a point and appreciate their referral to another dealer in the area, there was no call on our behalf to set us up for a good experience. Very Disappointed! They seem more focused on sales than service.
