I love this cute little quiet shop. Everyone who works there is super friendly and nice. They always let me bring my service dog. I love their prices and the fact that they can pretty much do any design if you show them a picture of what you want.

Walk in.
VIP nails isn’t open on Mondays so I went here. They were super rough filing my nails, my skin feels raw and even some feel cut. She wouldn’t even look at my design because it’s a French tip, but I wanted something a little more than the regular . She got the wrong color multiple times and didn’t ask us if we even liked it. Glitter Lines aren’t even straight, she didn’t bother to double check. She didn’t even measure my nails. Some of them are shorter/longer than the other. They also sent me to get nail polish for my friend when she didn’t like the color and also sent my friend to go when I got mine done. Kind of funny that she did that. Definitely go to VIP nails! They are super gentle and measure each nail perfectly asking for your opinion also. I can say this is probably the cheapest place to get your nails done and it’s not super horrible. You just have to talk quick or else they’ll just do what they want and seal it.

I called acquiring about a fill I was told to fill with gel was $40. I showed up and it was handed gel to pick from I picked a color. I sat patiently while this lady did not care about the job she did with my nails leaving spots of red from my previous set to show underneath the gel color I had picked, I wasn’t very happy with my nails but wasn’t going to say anything. I get to the register and I get charged $60. I had $60 because I had called ahead and was told it was 40$ for the Nails that I was getting done. I asked why so much and she told me cat eye for gel was more expensive when I had just picked one of the 50 colors she handed me

Came in for a full set of acrylics and a pedicure in June right before I was leaving for a cruise. Began to feel ill 72 hours after visiting the salon, tested positive for COVID-19. I work from home, I hardly leave the house, I am not in direct contact with anyone who could have gotten me sick. I’m very sure I caught it at the nail salon considering it was the only place I visited that entire week. I was sick the entire first week of my vacation. Now I’m terrified of going to nail salons ever again..

Yikes. This is the WORST set of nails ive gotten in Redding and ive gotten some bad ones. On one hand dude was super fast, I was in and out in 30 minutes but the end result is lumpy misshapen nails that I'm going to have to do a lot of work to fixService: Acrylic nails

I won't give them any stars. Rude aggressive people. Changed prices mid appointment. Didn't keep their promises. A nail came loose the next day and was charged to fix. I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy

The location is not kind to people of color! I sat in water for 20 minutes. Never asked what type of pedi I would like. A white lady came in and was treated totally differently. Warning racist location. Will not be treated the same.
