Gas 4 Less is a smaller gas station with cheap gas, staying competitive and true to its name. It is usually packed and located downtown on a busy corner right before entering the freeway. It has lots of fuel pumps, around 12 or 16, and people move in and out fairly quickly when not too busy. The store is decent enough, though small inside, with a typical selection of snacks, drinks, and smokes. The staff is adequate, friendly, and helpful. They do not accept credit cards and charge a fee for debit, but cash is accepted. There are no public restrooms. A downside is transients and homeless people hanging out on the property.
Gas is 5.15 right now for cash/debit only. They charge 0.40ยข one time to use debit card

Good gas prices, but there's almost never squeegees to clean your windshield, and when there is, the water smells so bad you can tell it's in the bucket a for a week or so. I've had minimal contact with he employees, but when I have they have been friendly and courteous enough.

Not the friendliest clerks but then again they put up with a lot of B.S. from drugged out transients coming into their store and hanging by. When it all comes down to it though it's about the gas prices and this is usually the cheapest (or next to the cheapest) gas station in Redding.
