We had a great experience in this store. The customer service was exemplary. Ruth in the deli quickly answered our call, we asked about what was is stock over the holiday weekend and she helped and was friendly. When we arrived she continued to help and was so nice. I have gotten so used to bad service that she was a big breath of fresh air. I will return because I feel like a valued customer.

So if you like dog butts in the cart where your groceries go then this is the place for you. A lady had her pitbull in a grocery cart and was shopping. I understand people love their animals but it is a health and safety issue. I would rather not have tapeworm or pin worm eggs mixed in with my produce. Told the grocery store clerk and he acted like he could care less, too bad for that attitude. Not to hard saying excuse me ma'am no pets in carts where food goes.

I've been going to this store my whole life shopping, grabbing sandwiches, and my favorites the breakfast burritos. Trudy is the only friendly person in the deli department. Anytime I go when she's not in I'm blatantly ignored, I waited today for 10 minutes to get breakfast with my daughter and was made eye contact with several times, and never once acknowledged. I understand if there's a ton of other customers, but I'm literally the only person in the entire area. This has happened 3 times in the last 3 weeks in the mornings. I'm just saying all you see is smug old ladies with the grumpiest looks on their faces like they hate their lives and helping you is the biggest burden ever if actually helped. It's insane, if you hate your existence that much than leave the position for a person that actually wants to work, someone who needs it to support their families, someone who will put in effort. Thank you Trudy for being that person and I'm sorry you have to work with such unhappy people that don't want to pull any slack. This would be a zero star if it wasn't for you.

Safeway is always good, if not overpriced. Safeway is like Raleys. No one goes there for the prices, they go there for the experience! It's like having two stores in Hollywood. Department stores. They are side by side. One? Sells the same brand items, the same clothing lines, the same jewelry as the store next to it, which seeks everything priced low, they choose the lower price model and volume sales, over high prices and fewer sales, but those sales net them even more than the other. Where did everyone go? The now expensive store! It's the in, the place everyone talks about. It's all the rage! Go figure?

I always find everything I need at a good prices at Safeway. It is also so nice to have access to their first class pharmacy to get my prescriptions filled while I shop.
