Worthless service in Redding. I have to wait 8 days for a repair technician to repair my phone. I will be cancelling this garbage service I pay $17 a month for.

Terrible service , won’t repair your phone unless it’s perfectly working which then why would you get it repaired . Absolute joke of a company . Scam to get your phone to make a cheap repair so they can send you another customers phone they scammed and repaired for cheap

SCR seemed like a helpful and professional group. However, they could not fix my Acer Switch cracked screen because they could not find the part. While I understand the difficulty, I was a little annoyed that it cost me the $50 upfront diagnosis fee to find that they could not locate the part.

Very dishonest technicians. I brought my older laptop in for repair because it had been dropped and was not currently recognizing the hard drive. I was aware it was older but I still wanted it repaired if at all possible. The technician called me and told me that my computer was damaged beyond repair had broken parts inside as well as many stripped out screw holes. (it had one that I was previously aware of. I was told the hard drive was definitely damaged and when I asked if I could just replace the had drive then, I was told no, the computer itself was too damaged from when it was dropped and the insides were broken where stuff was held in place. I was told they were unsure if the hard drive itself could be asked to transfer my data. I purchased a second computer and it turns out they were able to successfully transfer all of my data. When I went in to pick up the old and new computer, just for the heck of it in their office I decided to see if my old computer would work. I plugged it in and it recognized the hard drive perfectly. I was shocked as the technician had told me it was not possible. I showed the manager and she did not know how. She said she would call me on Monday after looking into it. When I got home I tried to use my old computer but they mouse did not work. I looked at the computer and found that like 5 or 6 screws that held the back on were missing. I went ahead and opened my computer. When I lifted the computer I noticed that the tab that connected the mouse was not properly in its slot. I pushed it in and my computer worked with no issues other than a hard drive error (same error it had for two years) On Monday the manager had a migraine when we spoke and needed more time. to look into things for a resolution. She said the technicians notes did not match what I was telling her . I waited for her call which never came. On Friday afternoon I called her and she asked if she could call me back in 10 minutes. When she finally did she was rather rude and made me feel like I was lying about what had occurred. She basically told me that even though my computer worked because of what she saw in her technicians notes they would never have been able to guarantee how long it would have stayed working which explains why I was told I needed a new one. She justified his deceit. She then offered a minimal partial refund which I refused. This company is not who you want working on your electronics if you want honesty

This is hands down the best place in Shasta County to have work done on a Mac. They are friendly, kind and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me with my issue. Kyle and Alicia were a pleasure to work with! Their prices are fair and their work is guaranteed and done well! Is you have any Apple issues, this is the place to go!

Long story, slightly summed up. Verizon iPhone broken. Used Asurion insurance to get phone repaired. Asurion contracts Shasta Computer Repair for the work. (This part is unknown to me.) It's a two week wait. We were told the repair would happen at our house on November 24 between 3-5. Received an email on November 23 from Asurion confirming the appointment. At 4:30 on November 24 we access the voicemail on the broken phone by using the phone number of the contact phone. Shasta Computer repair left a message ON THE BROKEN PHONE on November 22 asking us to bring the phone to them instead of them coming to us. Next message on November 24 from Benjamin at SCR (calling the broken phone instead of the contact phone) telling us he can come early. I call SCR back at 4:40 and no answer. I call Asurion and they tell me that SCR told them that they were on there way to us when they had an emergency and couldn't make the appointment. I try to make a second appointment and I'm told that the soonest available appointment is December 8. Unreliable company.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a computer expert and never will be. I had a couple of issues with my MacBook Pro. I called and spoke to Alicia who was very informative on the phone. I decided to take my phone to their shop and met Alicia in person and she referred me to Kyle for the repair(s). I left knowing what happened, basically what I did wrong to my computer. I highly recommend this business and the staff. I'm very happy with both Alicia and Kyle.

My iphone was acting crazy out of nowhere! Was only showing the Apple screen and would not even turn off or on. I don't have iCloud... was worried that my pictures of my son and our family would be lost forever. I was so upset and frustrated- Alicia at the front desk was very patient, understanding and professional. I have been a long term customer of Shasta computer repair and have always had good results from them. Plus they are reasonable- actually more reasonable than my Apple Care insurance copay I took it there just hoping for the best. My phone was fixed by Kyle who was able to restore my phone with all 5500 pictures safely will be coming back for a data transfer soon- my phone is out of storage space. Kyle was able to repair my phone all in the same day too. Thank God And thank you Shasta Computer Repair! You rock!

I was very pleased with my last experience at Shasta Computer Repair. Alicia at the front desk was personable and helpful, and Andrew's work on my PC was excellent.He listened to me carefully, explained everything that he would do with outstanding results.
