Slowest bank I have ever been to. Waited in line with no help, no one to be seen anywhere for 10 min. Finally about to pull away and they take my stuff. It’s been another 10 min and I still haven’t gotten my stuff back

I wish I could give no star at all. worst customer service I have seen in my entire life. Manager Maria was rude. Teller Star Webb deserves zero Star doesn't know how to change the address in the system. Messed up with my CD. The manager was hiding the teller's mistake.
Lacy doesn't have any product knowledge. God knows how the bank is running.
Don't care for customers at all.
I can bet that the owner will reply on this because he/She only reply the good reviews so far .

I just opened a account at the down town redding branch I've been cashing my check there for about 6 months the company I work for banks there never a issue always friendly I had just received my bank card and a couple of .com companies tried to take my money after I messed up they stopped them immediately and texted me directly thank you Umpqua

The absolute worst customer service ever. Aloof and annoyed at problems that THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR!!!!!! Met with COMPLETE RESISTANCE in cashing a PAYROLL check on MORE THAN ONE OCCASION. Thanks for completely disgusting me with your actions time and time again. P. S. If the manager takes my phone number, And says that they'll call me back, It's just good business to follow through. I shouldn't have had to call back To discuss a problem you caused. coincidentally, I've had issues cashing my check at this branch on several occasions. I'll try the other branch, As your manager suggested. Happy Holidays.

Shout out to Tommy who helped me get a new card after mine was involved in a card scam. Super funny and cool dude who made it enjoyable and easy to get a new card. People like him are why I love this bank. Thank you again Tommy

When I opened my account I was asked for my physical address. I gave it to them but insisted that nothing was to be mailed there as the Post Office does not deliver in this county. Instead, I told them, they should mail everything to my PO Box. They agreed to do this.After many fruitless inquiries as to why I never received anything from them, I was assured, EVERY TIME, that they were sending all communications to my PO Box. It eventually turned out that this was incorrect. Rather, they were sending letters to my home address and, every time, the PO returned them, undelivered.And, btw, because they never received any reply (but, surely, they had all those letters, returned as undeliverable), they closed the account! I may sue.

For the record, I don't bank here. I did go in and had less than stellar customer service from two tellers I had interacted with. Another teller that came in from the back was very nice. I'm all about Customer Service .. First Impressions go a long way. *shrug*

Fist: the staff & the banking services from Umpquah are excellent! The problem is the security or lack of in their parking lot. Twice I have had issues with homeless people in the parking lot..being yelled at and threatened..both times I got in my car & left, not completing my business. No person should ever feel threatened going into a business, sadly this is the situation with the Umpquah branch in Redding.
