Spent $88 on fuel then told their bathroom was broken. Old white haired lady cashier' was a witch about it. Been here twice. First time was ok.

The fact that this is probably the only gas station I know of in California that doesn't allow bathroom use for paying customers, at least, is the wildest thought process for me.
Next, what happened to the days when the people behind the counter wouldn't be too lazy to switch one dollar for 4 quarters? Is that a done deal now? ?
Next, why do we keep rude and lazy employees but fire the rest? That doesn't make any sense to me. I can see a lot of reviews where the mean old lady was rude as hell or didn't want to help customers at all. And yet she's still there. For the people who have credit card charges from this fas station, you can get your fees back. All of them, lol. Under civil code 1748.1, it is prohibited for merchants to add a surcharge fee for the use of credit cards instead of cash.
Finally, if we really want to make a difference report them to the attorneys general for the racism, them making consumers pay at the pump instead of inside where the consumer wanted to pay at in the first place, for the surcharges to the credit cards all of it.
The more we don't do anything, the more they can get away with. Even visitors who have stopped at the gas station but don't live inside of Redding or shasta County can file a complaint with our attorney general. It's only a matter of time until the attorney general says enough is enough and enforces the law. The surcharges on the credit cards alone should be enough to get the attention of the attorney general because that is fraud and theft. Hope this was some good reading for someone

Stopped & got gas, while my husband was pumping went in to use restroom, & of course the rude old women said it's broken. I guess I must of made a face like I didn't believe her. Cuz I didn't. & she told me there was a gas station with bathroom up the road for paying customers. I told her we were getting gas right now. Then she angrly said , where you going? I said home., lol she says home could be Alaska. Very snotty. We were coming from Oregon. But what does that have to do with anything. By the other reviews this must be the same old gal.

Claims the bathroom is out of order when it's obvious that it's behind a door they says employees only. Employee thinks it's super classy after I filled my tank there at $5.59 a gallon to tell me to go up the road to a shell and use their toilet. She also spent a lot of time having a personal chat with someone ahead of me in line when lots of customers were waiting. Don't bother, go to the shell up the street. Guess what Valero? being shady and lying to customers about being too lazy to provide services is terrible customer service. Keep driving!

I'm giving this place a negative review. For years they do not let their customers use the bathroom. It makes no sense that their bathroom has not been working for over 5 years. They should put a sign where it's visible from the street saying that we do not have any bathrooms because usually when people stop at gas stations. I believe it's because of all the drug use in that area but it's not right to your customers. If I would have seen a sign I would not have spent $100 before I found out that they dont allow bathroom use. They have very small letters by the window practically hidden. Everyone should boycott this place. If you're hoping to gas up and use a bathroom do not go to this location

I just went to Valero on Eureka Way in Redding California with a friend. As soon as we walked in the woman working there started looking at me with disgust, shaking her head. When me and my friend walked back to the counter we put our drinks down and my friend proceeds to pay for our drinks. The woman rings is up and says to me are you getting gas? I reply by saying no. The woman tells me that I shouldn'tve parked by the gas pump. I say there is not any cars at none of the pumps, what is the big deal? She then says to me friend that I'm taking advantage of him, calls me a blood sucking nigger, and other profane remarks! I am going to make sure that she doesn't get the opportunity to do this too anyone else!

Title 28 CFR Part 35 Subpart B Subsection 35.136 Animal under handler's control. A service animal shall be under the control of its handler. A service animal shall have a harness, leash, or other tether, unless either the handler is unable because of a disability to use a harness, leash, or other tether, or the use of a harness, leash, or other tether would interfere with the service animal's safe, effective performance of work or tasks, in which case the service animal must be otherwise under the handler's control (e.g., voice control, signals, or other effective means). And the old white lady that her name said she was Fred. It Happened 12:21pm on April 14, 2023 she was yelling at me to hold my dog when my dog cannot perform his task, and I have a medical reason for not being able to hold onto a leash, and he has other electronic leash as well as he's voice command she would not let me buy anything or get anything from the store.

These people are not very customer friendly. They charge to use a debit and they wouldn't take $100 because it "would empty the till" Go anywhere else!
