It was a good experience until I got to register and they did not accept credit cards. I found $50 in my wallet so I was able to get the things I came for, but had to put back a lot. Please put this information in your profile that maps uses. Thank you.

Winco is a great place for good deals, the deli, bakery, and pizzq are amazing. I love shopping there when on a budget. My only reason for 3 stars is that I rarely do self checkout, but when I do the self checkout attendant is ALWAYS rude.I dont ever do self checkout if I have a lot of items, typically 10-20 items or less, and every single time the attendant is either dismissive when I need help, or blames me when the machine clearly malfunctions.Example: it displays a video showing why it has an issue with you bagging. The last time we went, my son was putting an item in the bag when a fly or debris flew near and messed with the camera. It was obvious we did everything right, but he still accused my son of taking something out if the bagging area when he didn't. The attendant didn't even look at the video, he just lectured me and my son. I had to clearly tell my son he did NOTHING wrong and that the machine malfunctioned, and the attendant just ignored me.I've been shamed for having "too many items" when it's only been a few bags. The attendant always looks just completely annoyed to even be there.Like I get it old man, nobody wants to be here, don't be a jerk about it.

The more I shop here the more I like it.They have a deli, butcher and fresh seafood and their prices are very competitive.I've also found that, for the most part, WinCo brands are as good as the name brands. The store is clean and laid out well. The Redding store is where I do 99 percent of my grocery shopping.

Was able to get a free turkey and making soup for the homeless. Feel it’s important to give back to people that need it. We all love, hurt and miss the same way. No matter where we live or what we do or don’t have. Unfortunately most just look at our homeless situation as a burden but don’t take the time to understand with a few poor decisions could be any one of us. Please do one thing kind for someone you have never met that would be amazing if we all did this today. ?Happy Thanksgiving?gobble gobble?

I am glad this store doesn't allow dogs. Today it seems that everyone has to have a dog, and they are everywhere. Dogs should never be allowed in stores or restaurants. Overall, I think it's a good store with good prices, but I don't understand why they stopped selling the Crystal Geyser water packs. Now they sell them individually. The packs had I think six containers in one pack. This was a good deal, but like so many things in modern society, the changes are for the worst.

Great deals on vegetables and meats. Good quality and even better price. Definitely my first stop if I'm looking for either of those items. You do need cash or debit though.

Easy to find things in this store. Lots of parking & staff is nice.Bakery items have many choices to choose from. That's good!I like to go at night, as it's less crowded. They are usually stocking shelves at this time, so you'll have to manuever around the large machines... but it's really no problem at all!

This is our favorite store! The prices are amazing, the people are always happy to see you and are extremely helpful, and they have just about everything you would need to stock your shelves or pantry with! The only problem is that they don't carry any stuff you find in a pharmacy section except baby stuff (diapers and the like), but Walmart is very close by, so you can get those items easily with very little trouble! The real selling point is that they are open 24 hours a day, and they're even open on Thanksgiving and Christmas if you need something! Neat, huh? We love them!--Sherry Olsen

Our go-to grocery store. Cheapest produce with the best quality in town. Pricing on everything else is on-par with Walmart, but they don't quite have the selection of their store brand as Walmart.Bakery is decent and their $5 Sushi Wednesday is pretty good.

The store shouldn't be open 24 hours...the convenience it allows is quickly overshadowed by the teams of restockers glaring at you, blocked aisles where no handicap cart dare tread, and vehicles speeding through the store. Their, "customer service/check cashing," is strange. The check has to be payroll & they have to be able to call the employer & verify check. "Verifiable Payroll Check Cashing?" Walmart is way better on this one. However, the checkout staff has always been pleasant, knowledgable, and helpful, and the prices can't be beat in a lot of areas. The store is always clean and easy to maneuver. Kudos to them for having enough handicap carts! You could do worse...

I talked with the manager about enforcing their ‘No Dogs Allowed’ policy after a dog put its face into my groceries while I was checking out in the self check area. After that I went back a few times to see if things were better. I no longer saw dogs and started shopping there again. But last time I was there a woman walked in with her mutt along her side right in front of an employee who said nothing, this was not a service dog. When it comes to food establishments and grocery stores that serve the general public, a service dog is one that guides the blind. They are highly trained to be of service to those that need them. An emotional companion should be treated like a drug, and when under the influence some activities are restricted. Learn the difference people, your companions are not service dogs equal to a guide dog. They are accepted in some instances. Although a blind person with a guide dog would not usually go grocery shopping, as there are no braille signage to assist them, so a flat no dog policy serves all well in this instance. Does it help all you dog lovers if I say sorry? It did not make my groceries free of dog slobber. If this store cannot enforce policies in front of customers I have to assume hand washing in the deli, bakery, and meat department are also being ignored, food handling must be at its lowest. I have spent many years in food service and know that these laws get excuses for error and ignored due to the swift speed and demand of the work all the time. But any place that openly ignores policy in front of customers may as well spit on the floor as you shop. Disrespect of one’s own policies is a disrespect of all who patron the place. Save yourself the illness and cost of medical interaction by shopping elsewhere.Savings at the cost of respect are not savings they are compromises.

I was in the middle of doing my routine shopping, I shop here once a week, and this week some jerk with a bad attitude or apparently he was having a bad day and took it out on me, came up to me very fast and aggressive and told me I need to leave the store bc no dogs are allowed. I've been shopping here for the past 3 months and never have I been told this. Nevertheless I told him he is my Emotional Support Dog and give me a minute to pull out my paperwork that I do indeed carry with me everywhere not to mention it says it right on his harness but he told me again to leave the store. I looked around for security to show them my paperwork but couldn't find one so I had to leave all my groceries there and go home empty handed. Ironically as I was leaving the checker told me what a cute dog I have. Yep. I will never go back to this Winco. I hope this jerk gets fired. This happened about 11:30ish Saturday night I was told to leave by the tall box boy in a red shirt, black shorts. You lost a good customer.

Wanted to applaud "Be" for her prompt assistance at self checkout. She explained what we had done wrong...then pointed out we still had items in our cart. We informed her that was a separate order. I was a bit embarrassed by her corrections...but thanked her. We are very aware of the community standards of theft in our area. I'd like to believe she wasn't accusing us....but just being extremely good at her job!

Haven't shopped here in a long minute, and I missed it, lolThe prices were excellent, shopping was a breeze, considering it was end of day and they were just getting items out to restock - the shelves were still well stocked and the cashier was quick and friendly. The parking lot had questionable people, but this is Redding, and it was 10pm ?
