Went to have the trigger polished on my Glock. Was told it would take a week (it’s a small job and can be done quickly), but I heard their gunsmith was good, so I was willing to wait. To make a long story short, I come back two weeks later and my gun hadn’t been touched. What a waste of time, and to top it off, not a word of apology. At least I wasn’t hassled about a refund.

Shawn, David and Jim are some of the best and most knowledgeable people in the gun industry that I have met. Most stores treat you like cattle (get you in, get you out) and don't care about your buying experience. But not Ask they will have an Honest conversation with you in regard to your thoughts and concerns regarding your purchases.

The Ask Defensive Training gun shop and staff deserve a 10 star rating. Because they are above and beyond the best place I've ever done business with. They have a great selection of new and used firearms, provide a variety of services like reloading classes, personal training, private party transfers and many other services. But more importantly is the customer service, everyone at Ask is extremely helpful and you feel more like a friend than just a customer. David, Sean, Debbie, Jim, Tim, and Glen are good people. I prefer to purchase all my shooting needs there. Therefore, if your looking for for good guns, great service and fair prices, then go to Ask Defensive Training.SincerelyMicheal Wyatt

It's a waste of money! I took a basic handgun beginner class with Tim Brayshaw not worth the money. He Talked for 6 hours and we shot for about 30 min for $275. They don't provide any guns or ammo. Really not worth it. If you want to take a gun class do it somewhere else. This really is not worth the $275. They don't even do refunds if someone doesn't show up.

Best #1 customer service. I still remember the first time I stop by and this people make feel welcome since day one, I also purchased in this store 2 of my favorite guns now in my collection. Is been always a great experience buying guns, ammo, etc. Good prices and quality products, highly recommend this store!

The place is ok.. sold a gun in their last week. Pretty much got ripped on it though. I understand that they gotta make a profit as well but come on, there was nothing wrong with it at all and condition was great. Than listen to the guy argue on the phone on how to give me my check for 20mins. So it's whatever.

I first entered this store perhaps 18 months ago. Upon walking in the staff acknowledged and welcomed my presence. To date it is something they make effort to do to everyone who steps into their store. Each of the clerks, and of course, the owners, are veeerrry knowledgeable about many of the shooting sports, including reloading. Well informed as they are about their wares, this business is extremely focused upon training, awareness of one's surroundings and safe usage of your firearm. To this end they offer a large selection of group and private lessons for all levels of interest and abilities. My wife took their introductory pistol class using a revolver and glowingly spoke about her instructor (Tim B.), the quality of training and settings. I've also repeatedly noted their demeanor and patience with first-time buyers is exemplary. Two other factors about this business are noteworthy. If the clerk with whom you are speaking does not know the answer to a question they so state and will ask someone else rather than provide inaccurate or misleading information. The second is there have been no changes to their small staff during the time I've been a customer. This speaks well to the quality of the individuals you'll meet behind the counter and the ownership. There are other gun shops, I guess, but their staff, knowledge and selection elevate these guys to All-Star status amongst the local retail gun scene.

First time here and was met with courteous and friendly folks. They installed a scope and I bought supplies. The owner and his staff very helpful unlike the other gun place in Redlands. Thanks again.

Right when you open the door there is a sign that says before you come in remove your mask. I kept mine on. I wasn't greeted or spoken to at all. I actually felt uncomfortable and not welcomed because the employees seemed pretty friendly with the two other customers in there. I would not go there again.
