Wish it was like years ago...when they were in San Bernardino...and ...My husband delt with the Fred Coops......It was pleasant..they were fair and honest......My husband enjoyed buying from them for many years.Now ...he is gone...I took a box in of coins.....Think now I should have checked around....maybe lost some on that.....deal..
Feels like it's big business..only..with the newer generation.......So sad...........I would keep whatever i have .....rather than give it away. .....Wish them the best...because of the history....but likely won't sell anything to them....again

Made a big mistake going here last month. I had few items that had been in the family for quite awhile and needed a little quick cash for a family event. All the prices were extremely low. When they told that some of my $2 bills were only worth $2 each, I took a lot of items of the table. Fortunately, I kept the high dollar items and learned my lesson. Do your research. Don't go here.

This shop is one of the nicest shops I’ve been in, they offer a welcoming and all around great atmosphere. They are knowledgeable and will answer whatever questions you may have about coins/currency.

When my dad was dying of cancer, we were getting his things in order and he had a complete collection of Mercury Dimes. One dime alone was worth 8 grand. My dad told me, "after I go, take my collection to my friend Randy at Briggs and Coops. He will be fair and honest with you. Make sure you sell the entire collection together." So after dad passed I gathered up all his stuff and presented them to Randy. He took an unusually long time with dad's dimes and then he offered me 8 grand for the entire collection. I said, "are you kidding me? One dime is worth that. I thought you were my dad's friend." He said, "that is the best I can do for a friend." I told him to shove it and went somewhere else and was offered $12,500 for my dad's collection. DO NOT GO HERE.

WOW! Watched a youtube video with Mr. Koops and felt like he may be a trustworthy guy to buy my first double eagles and 100oz silver bars from and cannot believe the feedback I'm reading. What's more amazing is their NONSENSE REPSONSE TO BEING **REPEATEDLY** CALLED RACIST THIEVES!"We'll get this sorted" is their ridiculous pat answer to these numerous serious allegations? They won my business and then lost it before I had a chance to order any gold coins from them!

One of best stores I've visited in Redlands! I truly enjoy learning from the owners about the rare coins and antique silver pieces ever since I was little. They are professional, honesty, & experienced for many decades. I hope to visit their store to see what they have new things for sale another day!

First off I would like to say that this shop has a amazing selection of coins and notes. It's a nice place to go only if your purchasing. Now let's talk about the 2 stars. When selling they will try and get over on you. I'm a collector. Have been for many years and I know my stuff. I understand that I'm going in to sell wholesale and grab a quick buck. Even after I set my prices to whole sale and even less than whole sale they hit be way below that. Don't go here to sell anything. They make mistakes on their estimates and then try and cover it up. Offer ridiculous prices for your pieces and most of the time they're way below on spot price. If your buying then fine. Other than that, STAY AWAY!

I have learned so much about silver, gold, numismatics, and spot price from the team that works inside, and I have always come away with a fair deal.

Very nice large, friendly coin shop . Coins were mostly fairly priced especially for the cheaper ones.
