I've been going to this mechanic for years, And normally they would give you five star service, But this last time there was a huge lapsing communication, the mechanic messed up my car, kept my vehicle for over two weeks, with no compensation on the rental car. It sucks when you have to call your mechanic every day because they are not calling you back to let you know about your vehicle. Made excuses and gave me the run around. I would have never imagined posting something like this before, but when it is good it's good, when it's bad they're not the one. Would have never imagined that they would have dropped the ball so bad for a mistake that was their own.

My Mercedes has been there for almost a year now and nobody calls me back and zero updates unless I call and still nothing I'm not sure how they prioritise their work but I think I better just call my insurance and say it's stolen ? I don't know what else to do ?

I recently took my A7 to the team at Foreign Auto Tech and I had to take the time to write a review because they were great. I was tired of going to the dealership and getting reamed every time. If you are looking for a highly knowledgeable, trustworthy and not expensive shop I highly recommend these guys!

My sons GTI all of a sudden would not stay running. I read a bunch of reviews and then had his car towed to “Foreign Auto Tech”. They are correct Yasser and his guys are honest and do a good job. Although the tech forgot to investigate an engine oil leak as well as fix the staying running issue Yasser said just bring it back and they will id the oil leak. I will be back with my other cars.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Foreign Auto Tech of Redlands has been my “go to” for the past 20 years. Cal, Sid, Wally, Yaser and the entire team provide excellent customer service. Their prices are fair and the quality of service is 2nd to none. I highly recommend having your vehicle serviced at Foreign Auto Tech.

this literally the worst place to bring your car they continuously delete codes and fix things that think arent wrong and charge you for parts what were never broke have you believing them as mechanics . i would never refer anyone to this place ever plz do no go!!! this place should be closed down they dont kbow what there doing just guessing as they go

My VW CC basically fell apart! Cal and Yaser took excellent care of it! After 3 other mechanics "fixed" my car, making the problems much worse. It was wonderful to find their shop and for them to do the CORRECT repairs that the previous mechanics failed to do. I really appreciate the fact that Foreign Auto Tech is very professional, and very quick with repairs. They are HONEST!! Something very rare today. I will be bringing my car back to them for any repairs!! I highly recommend Foreign Auto Tech!!

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I brought in my Audi A4 back on dec 15. Due to fuel pressure regulator code popping up (p2293), they replaced my fuel filter and tank seal. Two days later check engine popped up again. This time one mechanic had first told me it was one of the sensors under my hood then called the next day and told me to wait till the mechanic that worked on my car the first time comes back so he can fix my car instead (I had to wait because I was told he comes in whenever he wants) So when he came back, Uri, he completely changed the whole story and had me replace the high pressure fuel pump (which is obviously more expensive than a sensor). Got my car back after repair and check engine came on AGAIN. I scanned it and seen it was the fuel pressure regulator AGAIN. Brought it back, Uri (the mechanic) did not return my car back to me till closing time and said it was just a software update, no codes abt fuel pressure but I literally have a scanner of my own and seen the fuel pressure code, AND he also insisted I let him keep my car and drive it home to see if light pops back on so that I wouldn't be "inconvenienced" driving back and forward. I declined because I obviously know the code will just get erased again if it were to pop back up with them and it will be "my fault" if it pops up with me & I don't mind the back and forward. Check engine popped up again which I knew was going to happen bc I'm pretty sure all they did was erase the code, especially because mechanic left his evaluation paper in my car and it was totally blank and had nothing written on it of what he actually did to fix it. At this point I was done and the least they could do is refund me for a service repair that was never properly repaired. I was brought into the owners office with the mechanic that I had to accommodate to this whole time, Uri, he told me that he "doesn't like to throw parts at a car" but it had to be done to find the "root of the problem" and did not see why I needed a refund. And continuously talked down to me saying "so you're not understanding still". I definitely understood that what he was really telling me was that I need to let him try A B and C which has only consisted of throwing new parts at it until he somehow figures out the problem while I'm having to pay for all these experiments. Then tells me if I would've let him just take my car home none of this would happen. So I asked him "so you're saying it's my fault my car is still messed up because I didn't let YOU drive it to see if the light popped up?" And he answered "Yes that's exactly what I'm saying" then told me I need a new engine. Not to mention he said he wasn't the one that worked on my car the first time but that's why I waited on him for the second repair right? How funny when he gets my car & instead of fixing a sensor problem that the other mechanic suggested, they shush him up and it turns to a whole new pump instead. Long story short I was literally crying in the office because of how horrible Uri was to me, told me "you probably know everything abt makeup but I don't" so I know nothing about cars and he does. The owner stayed quiet the whole time but eventually said he will refund me the labor since the repair did not actually repair the problem. Uri gets so mad and scolds me about how that takes food off their plates and that he has a daughter, but yet you didn't care when u continuously took food off my daughters with $1500 in repairs in the matter of 2 weeks. So basically they knew the whole time it was a deeper rooted issue but wanted to make some money off of extra parts along the way that didn't fix the "deep rooted problem". Took my car down to Autoscope in Redlands and guess what was that deep rooted problem? The sensors! The sensors that they wanted to sweep under the rug for a bigger bill. Will never ever comeback again. The ONLY person

good customer service but bad with waiting period. Sadly its been 6 MONTHS and i still dont have my BMW transmission fixed. I brought my car end of March 2021 and in September 2021 they finally got to taking a look at it and telling me i need a transmission. Its Now October 5th and i still dont have my car back. They have kept my car 6 MONTHS Yes. 6 GAWD DAMNNn MONTHS. Ill be paying the other half of the transmission once they finish the job, maybe in the year 2023 once they finish. I just keep getting that tomorrow it will be done. Same story over and over. Who knows, maybe once they return my car and if they do a good job on the transmission replacement after a few months if my cars transmission runs great still i will reconsider editing the review for the update.Service: Transmission
