Went here today not like it use to be, where are the crafts, the craft supplies, crafts to make with kids, crafts to make to sell at shows, we dont want this store to carry stuff like Hobby Lobby does dont compare yourself to it, we need supplies, a place to go to get our supplies. The value of some of your stuff is good other is way to expensive for anyone to buy, if your doing 50% off then do it dont do buy one and second one at 50% off people will go to HL and get a better deal youll loose customers fast! Then when we checked out only one (1) cashier available for cash the other five (5) were card only. REALLY! I was ready to walk out! Thats why we dont go to Walmart!

Can't reach store because their phone number doesn't work. Michaels.com customer service was inept. Sent to another country, language barrier, rude and couldn't help. Thankfully the store staff at Redlands was very nice. Literally each person i dealt with was great. It's Michael's corporate and the ultra automated rancor and ineffectiveness of Michael's.com that stunk. You couldn't even reach a human on chat. Shameful.

So annoying these franchises with CEO's making millions and they only have one cashier. Of course the cashier is also taking customer service calls in-between. So over these greedy franchises.

I've been a Michael's customer since the Redlands, California store opened. Today I went in to buy a package of candles for $5.00. There used to be multiple cash registers operated by humans, but now there is just one. The rest are self-checkout terminals that do not take cash. I waited in line for about fifteen minutes, and an employee asked if I was using a card or cash. I said "cash", and she said "I'll help you over here." I followed her, she scanned the box of candles, and I handed her a $10.00 bill. She said "Oh, sorry, I can't take cash here." I said "but you asked me if I was using a card or cash, and I said 'cash'". So I had to get back in line to wait for the one, single human cashier. When I eventually got there, she scanned the candles, pushed buttons, scanned them again, and pushed more buttons. She stopped and looked around the store, apparently for someone to help her. I said "is there a problem?", and she said "it won't scan." At that point, I said "this is ridiculous. I'm going to Hobby Lobby," and I walked out. I went to Hobby Lobby, and they had five registers with five human cashiers operating them. I spent about a minute in line. Not only that, but Hobby Lobby has more stuff than Michael's. I can't think of any reason to ever go back to Michael's. Michael's has lost a customer.

I recently went here and the store looks great and awesome for Christmas. So many amazing decorations to pick from. I went in for Christmas gift wrapping supplies and they didn't have any wrapping paper yet. So I ended up going elsewhere for what I needed since I needed it right away. They have switched to self checkout machines. I'm not sure how I feel about them. They only have 2 regular registers and they were using them mostly for returns. It was definitely a learning curve. I had a gift card and the employee had to come help me and she had to swipe it at least 8 times to get it to read it. Most of the employees were at the front helping with the new registers. Only a couple on the floor.I ended up finding a bunch of cool stuff to go on my craft cart though. Over all a great visit but they didn't have what I was going in for and the self check out isn't necessarily my favorite.

Halloween in August! Fully stocked, nicely organized. Brightly lit and clean store!Easy to navigate store and I've gotten a sewing kit here before in the past. Make sure to use their online coupons for your purchases!

Well...this trip to Michaels was a waste of time. The department with embroidery floss was a MESS! Ok Michaels, not everyone does embroidery but is it asking TOO much to have a neat and orderly department? I won't return again. I'm pretty disappointed.
