Are you looking for an awesome workout that will challenge you and leave you feeling sore, all while having a blast in an upscale yet approachable gym? Radix fitness is the one. I’ve tried a bunch of local gyms in town (24 hour fitness, orange theory, club Pilates, fitness 19, the energy lab, barre at cdr, the yoga room, block crossFit) and Radix was the only place that impressed me and gave me the workout I have been searching for! It’s been four weeks and I am already seeing a reduction in fat (I use a scale that tells me this for sure) and more muscle definition (even with Halloween candy and drinks lately). Can’t wait to continue working out and eating cleaner to get even better.Danny is awesome and will listen to you, and design the workout you want. I told him exactly what I am trying to achieve and every week he surprises me with something creative and challenging. I’ve done incredible workouts that I would never have known to do on my own. And the type of workouts he gives me I can’t find in a group fitness format (my former ideal space). I’m doing planks for six minutes (something I never knew I could do) and a lot more push-ups than I would volunteer to do. I’m feeling challenged, getting sore, and seeing results. And I’m having a blast and feeling energized! My workouts are also taking less time because my body is getting fatigued the way it should. Both Danny and Ivan are also highly educated, which is part of what sold me. They aren’t random people who just have a personal training certificate. They have advanced degrees in kinesiology, exercise physiology, sports rehabilitation, etc. And they train people of all ages and abilities. I love that they also focus on recovery and do assisted stretching! It’s so effective and it’s really helpful if you want to improve flexibility and reduce recovery time. It’s also super relaxing and a nice treat after a tough workout.Equipment is also advanced and unique to me. Their machines are pressurized with air for resistance instead of using weighted plates. They also have dumbbells, cardio equipment, and a bunch of things that will align your body in a new way to make a standard move more challenging and effective. It’s a completely different feeling and a tough challenge. I love that I can go super fast on their elliptical during my circuits. Their elliptical is different than the ellipticals you see at the average gym.Danny has saved my fitness from the poor workout classes I was taking during my first few months in Redlands. I’m finally feeling like I’m getting back on track with my fitness level prior to relocating. Most of all, I’m happy with my workouts and feeling more like myself again, thanks to this awesome facility of people who share my passion for fitness.

I am writing this review with deep appreciation to Ivan the creator and owner of Radix Fitness, our personal Wellness Center. I started my disabled adult son with the personal trainer / licensed nutritionist Cameron Noerr nine months ago. At that time, my son was sedentary, with a foggy brain, 70 pounds to loose and very seldom left his house. When I would go in and observe, I noticed the other trainers, Danny, Maca, and Ivan, would be working with people with ALS, MS, and sever arthritic conditions. I have never been to any other fitness center where they work on your functional foundation. I have observed these people with these conditions getting better including my son, who has lost 60 pounds, his back and legs now function so well that he now has the capability to do things he hasn't done in twenty years, like walking three miles a day! Because of the compassion of all of the trainers and the interactions that they have had with my son he is now laughing and joking around. He even shows up 20 minutes early so that he can have fun connecting and visiting with everyone there. This is a miracle...my son has come alive! After observing in the gym for three and a half months, watching the physical and emotional progression of people with severe conditions, and witnessing their vast improvement, I decided to start my own personal journey. I started training with Cameron. After two car accidents that resulted in complete bone on bone in areas of my neck and back. I was no longer able to do the things I love, which are exercising and traveling. Cameron has strengthened my foundation and now I am able to do cardio at a level that I used to do. I am lifting weights and becoming structurally so sound that I am able to drive myself on 6 - 7 hour trips without suffering pain the next day. I myself have lost 20 pounds and I am so fit now at 69 that my chiropractor said "Your back used to be like old saggy mare and now it is as strong as a race horse!" One other thing that has been a huge relief to me is that the debilitating pain that I used to be in is no longer an everyday issue. Cameron has taught me how tho use the antagonist muscle method to release the opposing muscle. I am now out enjoying life as well, thanks to the education I have received at Radix Fitness Center. This is not just a gym, all the trainers have Masters Degrees in Bio- Mechanics. Thank you Ivan for your vision, creating a facility that helps people to thrive. Linda Stockdale

I have been training at Radix for over 2 years. Love to work out with Ivan. He keeps training interesting and fun at the same time that I push myself hard everytime!! I miss my training sessions when I am out of town... Wonderful atmosphere to be around.

Redix is fantastic! The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, highly motivated, and awesome people to be around. I've never been in a gym with a better atmosphere. My son is enjoying every minute of his training. He looks forward to meeting with his coach/trainer every week. I would definitely recommend this facility.

I do not recommend this place. I have had personal trainers and been working out for years. I had a consultation to possibly start training with someone . The location was convenient and it would have worked well. I had told the trainer about my limitations especially in the rotation of my arms. The trainer was very insistent and rather rude next thing you know I overextended my arm . I knew at that point I had injured myself. Well six months later and the fact that I'm now in physical therapy for my shoulder I am absolutely sick about this. My workouts came to a screeching halt and now I have an injury that is not only painful it's going to take a long time to heal. I found the trainer to be most insulting. After the whole episode he decided that we were not a fit. Then he recommended somebody else. I worked out with many trainers and I have never had such a negative experience. He was very abrasive. I would think twice about this establishment. I'm glad the man who hurt me thinks this review is so funny. Shows you what a concerned trainer he really is.

I love this gym! It combines stretching, personal training and cardiovascular work in a beautiful gym. The trainers are certified in physical education from a university. Ivan knows how to evaluate your fitness level and design a program just for you. It was so beneficial to my health that I now have my 85 year old mother going. She can now do her volunteer hospital work all day without fear of falling. Ivan can work with athletes, adults, children and the elderly! I highly recommend it!
