First of all, I'd like to say that there are some very nice and helpful people working at this pharmacy. Also, if you look at the dozens of reviews I've left elsewhere, I do not like to give bad reviews. It takes something egregious to prompt me to do so. That said, I'll explain precisely what happened. Tuesday afternoon I went in to pick up a prescription. It had been called in the previous Friday, just 4 days earlier. I was informed the prescription had been cancelled and restocked, and I could not pick it up. After discussing the situation with Ed, he sarcastically said sorry to me. I said his sorry didn't seem sincere. He said it wasn't. I then told him he can't treat people like trash, that he can't treat people badly. He responded by saying he can treat people any way he wants to. Then proceeded to act like a 5 year old and say bye repeatedly. I wish I was embellishing, but sadly this is all true. I'll never be back. The pharmacist Ed is a sad little man and I honestly feel bad for him. Perhaps he has issues outside of his work, I don't know. Regardless, he needs to be removed from this position as I'm certainly not the first person to encounter this. I just spoke up about it. I would encourage anyone to look elsewhere for a pharmacy until this man leaves. It's not worth him power tripping. I have heard him talk badly about other people as well, and again, this kind of review is not something I enjoy. It just needed to be done. I contacted his supervisor in hopes of straightening the situation. I hope he can find the help he needs, but I doubt he sees any problem with his behavior. Sadly.

The Pharmacy at Cypress and Churn Creek is the absolute best. They have registered nurses on site to give Covid vaccine shots, and no appointment was needed. They also send you a text message when your prescription is ready for pick up or delivery. Very friendly and professional staff.

Do not have prescriptions transferred. It will get lost or the other pharmacy never sent (even though the other pharmacy provided proof they did). It is hard to get through to a real person. I've had my calls cancelled. I've left messages never returned. Today was the last straw. After trying for the last three weeks to get a prescription transferred I still get the response that they never got it. I give up. I can't go to any other pharmacy because only Safeway accepts my insurance. If you have a choice go elsewhere. I live the store and the retail employees. I only wish the pharmacy was run the same way.

This is the worst phone call I had. I called to ask the expiration date for the bottle I had from April this year. The woman in the phone was so inpatient , told me she can check the shelf life for the medications they have , but not able to tell me the one I had. She was so in hurry. I told her on the bottle, says use before 7/20, she said that's it. Didn't give me the chance to explain. I asked her does that mean July 20th 2018? She sounds so mean, made me feel that I am stupid. Finally she said that means 7/2020 . I tried to repeat and verify what she said, She hung up the phone before I finished talking. They try to blame me for their mistakes. Why don't they write 7/2020 instead of 7/20. That's against their policy . It's a no no!

Bruce, the cashier bagged the 2 people who was ahead of us groceries and the gentleman behind us groceries. We had 5 things total, the lady in front of us had approximately 20 and the guys behind us had about the same. So I'm a COMPLETELY confused as to why he didn't bag our groceries too?? We are clearly from out of town and I hope this isn't how they treat all their visitors. Shame on you Bruce!

I used to shop at this Safeway frequently when I lived in Rockville. I always found the employees to be courteous and professional. I never had any issues with the pharmacy other than the occasional insurance issue, but that's more a reflection of my insurance than anything.

Poor attitude; individual seemed to be trying to be unhelpful. They also seemed to have made up policies that they won't sell OTC items without a prescription.

Always had problems getting my presciptions filled. Usually said they never got it from the Dr. or couldn't find it. Twice they gave me someone else prescription and I caught it. The manager is rude, she acts like it's my fault she can't find it. I'm so done with them.

Have gone here now for several years and always had issues. I have purchased baby food that when the cover comes off the tin seal is breached and they will not give an exchange. The Starbucks there is even worse. First they would not take my Starbucks Gold Card to receive discounts even though they promoted the discounts. Then yesterday they gave my wife and I milk instead of soy which made us both violently sick. When I came back to complain they demanded to see my cups even though I had the receipt AND my card proving my purchase. I went home to get my coffee cups from the recycling and brought them back. When I came back they still would not give me a refund saying we could not prove we got sick. I offered him a chance to have me p*** in a cup so he could examine for milk particles. He then said there could have been any reason i got sick. I then said it was like me kicking over a display but then saying there could gave been an isolated earthquake at that same moment. At this point it was clear that the $7.50 I spent really meant a lot to them. After all of the "you people" and "people like you" he uttered I got my refunds more because I caused a scene more then them caring that two people got sick due to negligence. This place has no customer service. They will take your money and won't care about their product. The Assistant Manager there is especially deplorable.
