A supervisor should never publicly embarrass their employees. A supervisor named Linn was our cashier and she was yelling at an employee named Jacob for not running fast enough to the front to help bag groceries. He stated he was asked to do another task by another supervisor. She kept yelling at him in front of us making our shopping experience very uncomfortable. Jacob looked embarrassed and was just doing his job. He was kind to us while Linn was being rude. I don't want to shop at a place where employees are yelled at publicly by their supervisors. Very unprofessional.

Customer service /hospitality +: I was specifically looking for a German Chocolate cake this morning. Of course because it's listed someplace on line doesn't mean it exists. Then I went to Vons on Orange in Redlands to their bakery. After telling the staff what I needed, they came out to look for it also. The young lady went to look for a slice but came out with a sml individual German Chocolate cake and added birthday pick to it. Upon checking out there was Cheryl & Ashley checking items and keeping you in stitches. There energy picked you right up .. the smiles and laughter and for me, positive conversation as they worked.. that day, it didn't get better than the atmosphere in that store and those ladies boosting hat atmosphere. The store is nicely set up, clean and well lighted.. easy to navigate and offer lots of products not seen in other stores.The staff I encountered are for sure keepers and they seem to enjoy what they do.. I will be mindful to go to that Vons when shopping and recommend to others. A keeper

First time visiting this store for us. The cashier was great but the short lady at the deli was rude so we walked away from the deli. The manager should tell the employees if they're going to work in customer service they need to have a positive attitude. Probably will not visit this store again.

Ridiculously long line for checkout. Workers are just standing around looking at the huge lines and watching two cashiers working like dogs. This store REALLY needs self checkout. I won't be back.

Not much to report, came in, got what we needed, paid for it, and left. We didn't have any questions, didn't need any help. The store was clean, the people seemed happy, not much more to say

The store itself is beautiful and usually organized. The produce is colorful and fresh. The prices range from decent to expensive, but they offer good coupons on the app. For the most part, the staff is friendly and welcoming, except for my disappointing experience today with Ruslana who didn't greet, nor bother to ask me if I needed any bags. However, their bathroom is SO GROSS! There's trash everywhere, it smells really bad, and there's no toilet paper dispenser --there's one toilet paper roll resting on the bar, so you know what that means? Everyone who wiped themselves after taking care of their business is touching that same roll before doing so. Talk about unsanitary. The lack of attention to that area is obvious.

I gave this VONS a one star because of its employees!! They are extremely rude , unhelpful, and so miserable I was wondering why they are even working ? The cashier a young kid who never acknowledged me or a hello I wondered if he was mute ? And the customer service agent at courtesy counter extremely rude to another customer I heard all his business she might as well have put his situation on the intercom!! And when I had an issue I was interrogated by her as if I am incompetent!! I was so close to screaming at her I decided to hold my tongue and put a review on vons instead stay away from this store ghetto homeless outside employees miserable and store not adequately stocked !!

This review is in reference to Giani the drive up and go manager. He has been such a pleasure to work with when it comes to my orders. He has always kept me in the loop with what's going on and actively communicates with everything. It's rare to see that kind of attention to detail with a big chain store but his dedication and passion really make it feel like the store is a "neighborhood" store and that my business is valued. I was sad today to hear he was leaving and I hope vons will use his example as the new standard to strive for for future employees.

So today my boyfriend went shopping for his family for dinner. An employee was watching him entire time since he walked in the store. She looked for him throughout the aisles passing him twice and told him to leave the store because he's not suppose to be shopping there. The employee was asked by her manager to kick him out of the store. When he asked to speak to the manager, she claimed it was a 'misunderstanding'. IT IS NOT A MISUNDERSTANDING TO RACIALLY PROFILE MY BOYFRIEND AS A POTENTIAL SHOPLIFTER. Vons management is ridiculous to think a black customer would steal a basket full of vegetables on Father's Day. He feels like he can't do day to day activities for himself and his family without looking over his shoulder feeling judged, giving nasty looks, and treated unfairly. I use to shop with him there, I would hurry to get out of there because I felt so much tension at the cashier. I felt relieved as soon as I paid for my groceries on the way out of that store. You guys are disgusting to cause so much trouble for people and I hope you burn in hell.

This was my first time at this Vons. There's plenty of parking and the store is clean. I saw a few Friday Frenzy deals that caught my eye. First was the 4 Wagyu beef patties for $5. Usually these was way more expensive so I picked up enough for Memorial weekend. Then the other frenzy was buy 2 containers of cookies for $ 6. Usually they're $4.99 each. Plus, the last Frenzy was California roll sushi for $6 each, usually they're more. The cashier was friendly and fast with her service.

My review is for a specific Vons employee named Giani. He is the Drive-Up and Go Department Manager. My husband and I are LOYAL Vons drive up and go shoppers. Giani has been absolutely incredible. He is excellent with communication and truly goes above and beyond for his customers. He deserves the upmost recognition from management. I hope they know how dedicated to customer service he truly is. We will continue to be loyal Von's shoppers! My husband and I truly enjoy the Vons rewards program and hope they never change it!

Von's management, its not cool to systematically target your black customers as potential shoplifters, and setting off that "doorbell sounding alarm"over our heads as we shop down the isle. Oh yes its true because I recorded it today on my phone to let my family and friends know what it sounds like when you you shopping in Redlands Vons and you're being watched digitally as a potential shoplifter. At first, I considered that it just may be me, but look at another comment made by another minority customer on 8/4/21. No it's not just me. And its just sad to be targeted just because of the color of mine skin. I would never steal. First, I love the Lord and try and live my life according to his word, 2nd, I make over $70,000 a year and don't need to steal anything, 3rd, if I saw someone stealing in a vunue, I would discouraged them and buy whatever they're trying to take for them!!!! I've done that for some teens I saw once. No Vons. All black people don't steal. See another customers posting back on 8/4/21. I second it! 11/17/21 The staff at store followed us all through the store. I guess we took to long shopping. But no one was watching the skinny white guy stuffing his pants like a Turkey he stole almost half of store. While they were sending staff to pretend their looking for something next to us. 8/4/2021 First time making pit stop at this Vons on my way to Palm Springs from LA ... racists much?!!
