I bought 80.00 worth of items and was told there were no other discounts so before Leaving the parking lot I recharge my phone to find on the site 10.00 off. I bring the coupon in and then they tell me the only way to honor my coupon is return everything. After all of that inconvenience I just decided to save 80.00 by not repurchasing the goods. You can adjust a sale after the purchase but your staff chose be jerks. This is how you lose customers, good job.

They have everything! You can get name brand hair products like shampoo and conditioner for such good prices. Also there is a big selection of cleaning products and materials. And lots of name brand beauty products. I stay clear of buying food as lots of the boxes and cans are close to their expiration dates. Look at the dates carefully before you buy. I bought some cereal without checking the expiration date. Cereal usually lasts a year after you buy it. This lasted a few weeks. Except for food, it is an adventure shopping at Big Lots. Never know what bargains you might find. I leave with bags full of stuff each time I go there.

My recent visit to Big Lots was far from the shopping experience I expected, hence the one star. Understanding the importance of store hours, my daughter and I entered the store minutes before the closing time, promptly informed by an employee that the store closes at 9 PM. Fully aware, I assured her of our quick shopping. Despite having selected our items by 9PM, we faced an unexpectedly rigid adherence to the closing time that disregarded basic customer service principles. I was ready to pay, waiting at the register line for my daughter to join me with her item. However, at precisely 9 PM, a man, which I assume to be a store manager, looked at his watch and instructed the cashiers to close the registers, ignoring the fact that customers were still inside and ready to complete their purchases. A cashier noted, "there was a customer still needing to pay," only to be dismissed. My receipt, timestamped at 9:03 PM, proves the hurried nature of our checkout - with the manager visibly waiting by the door for our departure. This approach feels contrary to the norm in retail, where customers inside at closing are typically allowed to complete their purchases with a bit more grace. The experience left us feeling rushed and undervalued, undermining the otherwise positive aspects of shopping at Big Lots. Encouraging customers to leave promptly at closing is understandable, but doing so with such strictness, especially when already at the register, reflects poorly on Big Lots' customer service ethos. Know better...Do better

Came in with a return and asked that the balance be put toward our purchase. The checker did not give us credit and instead called the assistant manager Gloria. Gloria came and took over the transaction. She had a very bad attitude from the start and it only got worse. I guess I should apologise for being a customer who needed service.

And they have the 20% off it is great! Also if you're a Big Lots member after three purchases you get $5 off $15.I always get Big Lots brand toilet paper. It is great value at $5.40 for 12 rolls. And with your discount it's an even better deal. The people that work there are really nice and helpful! Are spices are a great deal for the size and cost as well as coconut oil.

The prices have gone way up. I used to check them out because of there low prices. Now higher than most! Sad to see. Don’t know why because that’s what people come here for. Nice service. Clean store.

I bought a chair from them quite some time ago that lasted long enough. I went back to get another one and the first one fell apart, and I returned it with the manager stating that if the second one didn't work out, they weren't gonna exchange it again they would just refund my money. The second one did fall apart even worse within 90 days, which exceeded their 30 day return. They basically told me to go kick rocks and get over it. Not only did the store manager and the regional manager make this decision to not create a loyal customer, but the furniture manager lied about the expectations of the second chair being able to be returned. I would not recommend buying any furniture from the store at all as now I have spent $500 on something I have to throw away.

This is a really good big lots, but I experienced something that made my blood boil so much. A manager (I'm guessing she was a manager because of the way she spoke) was so rude to one of the employees, talked to her as if she was a child, with a horrible attitude over another employee going to lunch or something. If you know someone has to take their lunch then make the arrangements sooner instead of being rude in front of everyone. Cmon di better, treat others with respect even if they aren't customers, it's not that difficult.
