Catalina Liquor is a true neighborhood gem! Whether I’m stopping in for a last-minute bottle of wine, a late-night snack, or just a quick hello, this place always delivers. They have a surprisingly great selection of wines—perfect for everything from casual dinners to special occasions.
The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal and laid-back. And as a bonus, they’re super dog-friendly! My pup loves tagging along and always gets a warm welcome (and sometimes a treat!).
It’s rare to find a local spot that checks all the boxes, but Catalina Liquor really does—convenience, quality, and heart. Highly recommend!

It's always great when you can walk into a liquor store, go to the refrigerated section, see what your options are, AND how much they cost! Thank you for taking the guesswork out!

I've been here twice after the "Open Hours". It says 7 AM, it is 9 AM today.... still unopened. No hours marked outside the store.

Great store and great people. Owner is super nice and gives treats all the dogs. Bonus points for having great burgers and good selection of beers

Burgers in the back are the best in town. Can’t charge enough for those babies. The liquor store in the front on the other hand, overpriced and then randomly adding 15% on top stating it’s a CRV state recycling fee. Looked it up, 60 cents. I’m a huge advocate of small business just not dishonesty, lost a customer over a few bucks. Shaking my head

Nice friendly and decently stocked liquor store for it's size. Should install a bicycle rack though, had to lock my bike to something pretty unsuitable.

People should continue to hate on this place and I'll be fine having easy access to the good hard-to-find stuff. Wide selection of libations with the bonus being the Standing Room inside. Parking spots are limited. The location is a few blocks from the beach. Give the owners a break if they seem to be keeping a watchful eye out. There seems to be a lotta riffraff from off the streets. That's not their fault. They're very sweet people working hard to make a living.

Went in to purchase an ice cream sandwich. Was profiled by the Asian woman behid the counter as soon as I entered. Watched me as if she expected me to steal something. Racist establishment. First and last time I will visit.
