“Got some nice Christmas gift bags. Miss the times when the items were only $1.09 a piece. Now it's $1.25. But the male cashier the last time I went was very helpful and personable. Sometimes you get some rude ones too. But nice bags!”

“Ami is super sweet and helpful! She held it down being the only register open during a rush. The line moved fairly quickly. This location is neater than other locations I've visited. Items were stocked and organized. The store is spacious with wide aisles. Parking is plenty. Prices may vary depending on the item like their frozen foods. There are great finds like Philadelphia cream cheese and Kraft singles are available. There was so much to see and my walk around the store was delightful.”

“Parking is a little tight. If you can find a spot down the main aisle, you have to park at the end of the strip mall at either end. The main aisle is one way only, so you end up finding a spot way on the end by Goodwill and walk back OR drive around and reenter. Either way, it works. Dollar Tree is a fun store. You just walk up and down the aisles to find things that you never knew you needed. Surprise finds!! Dollar Tree is the best price for helium balloons but the pickins' are slim. You get what you get, that's for sure. Ok, bye.”

“First of all I can't believe there is only one Dollar General in the Los Angeles area, there so much business potential if they opened more locations. 2nd the fact that you can still buy products for an actual $1.00 is amazing. This location was clean and well organized. Friendly associate as well. small parking lot available.”

“prices are really cheap, which are great. They have a lot of good snacks and candy that are good deal really they have like clothes, towels, socks, laundry soap. They have a bunch of things hygiene lately. They have a new security camera system where somebody watches it from a remote location live so be careful if you’re thinking about boosting it’s not like before. Cops have shown up many times the past few times I’ve been there.”

“Just left the Dollar tree and I wanted to leave you guys a review. The manager and the cashier or just pleasant. It's nice to have great customer service to start your day off right. I also want to give a shout out to this one cashier that is super friendly! As soon as you walk in she's yelling out hello, how are you doing today, and have a great day. I don't know her name that she's a little petite African American woman.Dollar tree in Gardena on Western is the best!”

“Overall, awesome store. This store gets visted a tremendous amount of times by people everyday!!! Everything is cheap and durable compared to your normal dollar stores. On school days, this attracts a lot of students. Very good place to find your basic tools, cheap toys, boxed food, party supplies, cold drinks, basic clothing, season decorations, basic needs, and maybe even sometimes pet fish! Over all a great experience you will have at this store.”

“Review #883 2025-056 What can you write about Dollar Tree? By now, most have heard of this store that was often compared with 99 Cents Only Store since they, as a discount variety store, have similar pricing strategies & product lineups. With inflation, COVID-19, & other factors, Dollar Tree is no longer a "dollar" store instead its price base is $1.25 + higher prices for certain consumables & name brands. Still, DT offers decent value... then there's the "thrill-of-the-hunt" shopping experience, which I haven't found at this location yet. This location replaced the defunct 99 Cents Only Stores; it looks the same with similar inventory of snacks, food, home goods, health & beauty items, toys, school supplies (gotta love them low cost composition books), party & seasonal supplies, etc. It's fairly organized but not as well-stocked as its predecessor. My 14 YO daughter's swim team does this away meet "gift" (junk) exchange where they create a goody bag filled with their fav snacks & drinks. They're kids so it's obviously junk foods & sodas, except for the handful who treat each meet with consideration of this bag o' treats may hinder their performance. Dollar Tree has most of their (junk food) munchies & drinks available, not that I agree with their choices but these bags supposedly builds camaraderie. I like that it's next to Grocery Outlet so when I can't find snacks here, I can walk next door to finish up. When we adopted a 5-week stray kitten (my cousin was spaying/neutering a feral colony in the neighborhood) a couple of months ago, I found some cat toys (fishing rod, crinkly ketchup & mustard) for Snow's entertainment. The rod didn't fare well, but what can you expect for $1.25? I came back & didn't find any in stock. =( Recently, I've been laid off & stopped by for Halloween goody bags & candies for my son's class. I'm not a fan of these goody bags but it's common practice & I don't want my son to be that kid that didn't participate. I liked 99¢ Store better because they also offered erasers, pencils, sticker packs, etc. so I'm not giving candy only... though I'm partial to Haribo gummies & Smarties. Oh, if you're having a party, this location also sells balloons, they don't have Party City's variety but what they offer works IMO. Come to Dollar Tree for affordable everyday essentials. It's convenient & budget-friendly, particularly if you're feeling the strain of inflation/the economy.”

“One of the last true dollar stores. You have to look at everything knowing it’s not the best item but it will be just fine. I like going to the stores with my kids. Tell them to pick 1 treat and it doesn’t break the bank.”

“The cashier was a lifesaver.I was 0.8 miles from home and had the awful urge to take a dump. If the cashier took more than 3 more minutes, they'll probably be cleaning my wet dump all over the floor. The man was quick and knew what was going on. Without arguing he gives me the key. Not having to spend 40$ on dry cleaning. He deserves a good raise and thanks, man.”

“It’s the holidays, even though the store workers were putting out new stuff the store was still kind of messy. I’m sore as soon as they tidy up, customers come rambling about and messing up the shelves, but I did manage to find almost everything that I needed.”

“4 's because of the fabulous cashier JAMEECIA and the overall organization of the store! JAMEECIA is an absolute breath of fresh air, very personable, very efficient! **Note to Management: the parking lot is filthy, yes it matters, stepping in or out of one's vehicle is hazardous there is too much garbage strewn about.”
