She greets you with a big smile and a genuine “How are you doing today?”—and suddenly you forget you just spent way too much on snacks you didn’t need.

Honestly, seeing Hope is the highlight of my Sprouts run. 10/10, would stand in any line she’s running ?”

“This store is Great. The staff is AMAZING. Went in yesterday and they were so helpful and patient with me. The store has plenty of varieties to pick from I felt a bit better than going to the market. Usually always get my WIC at the market especially the veggies because it's diff you don't have to get a whole bunch u can get single (like banana, avocado, apples etc...) But I found you can do this here too on some items. The veggie selection is ??. Plus you get a gift with a certain amt purchased. (At least when using your WIC)

The only downfall is they don't carry gallons of milk only half gallons. But they have Milk so ?? yay.

“I have known about this place for years, decided to go in. I bought strawberries for $1.50 and a small seedless watermelon for $1.50. OMG they were delicious the strawberries were big, red and sweet. The prices on fruit and vegetables is great. The strawberries are $3.99 @ Von's. In one week I went back 4 times. Worth checking out.”

He has three things on the belt. Bread. Eggs. A can of soup. He stands close to the counter like it’s cold behind him. The clerk scans slowly. He doesn’t notice. Or maybe he does and doesn’t care.

He tells her the tomatoes aren’t what they used to be. Says they used to split open in the sun. Says they smelled like something. She nods. She says, “Yeah,” the way people do when they don’t know what else to say.

I look at my watch. I don’t need to. I just want to feel the weight of time in my hand.

There are four people behind me now. No one speaks. We all breathe a little louder than we need to.

The old man laughs. It’s not a big laugh. It’s dry. He says his wife used to make soup with bones and scraps. “Best you ever had,” he says. Then he adds, “She’s gone now.”

The clerk’s face changes. Just a little. She says she’s sorry. He shrugs. Like it’s weather.

I shift my feet. I think about dinner at home. The light from the television. The quiet. It will not be so different from his quiet. I don’t like that thought.

He asks her what she’s studying. She says business. He says that’s good. Says the world always needs people who understand money.

The machine beeps. The receipt prints.

He folds it slow. Puts it in his wallet like it matters.

He thanks her. Says her name. He must have read it off the tag. No one does that anymore.

He pushes his cart away.

Now it’s me.

The clerk looks at me. “How are you?”

I almost say fine. I almost end it there.

Instead I say, “Long shift?”

She nods. “Yeah.”

I nod back. That’s all.

The line moves again.”

“I love coming to the Mother Nutrition Center—everyone is friendly, and the service is great. The only issue I had recently was that two days ago, I picked up my WIC groceries, and when I got home, one of the half gallons of milk was spoiled. I lost the receipt, so I wasn’t able to exchange it. Other than that, I’ve always had a good experience here.”

“It's more expensive than surrounding markets Amazon Fresh And Stater Bros both on opposite corners but this place is unique in that it focuses on a lot of products that regular markets either have in very little selection or none at all and that area is in healthy alternative types of products,theres more vegan, vegetarian, or those with dietary restrictions this is a top choice as they don't just have one type of any given product in these categories but 3 + where local market you'd be lucky to have one of the options you'll see here and their supplements vitamins etc is one of the largest anywhere .
Bottom line prices noticeably higher Selection and quality generally higher here to match prices you get what you pay for.”

“I was falling asleep at a restaurant outside Westfield Culver City and I needed an energy drink so I saw there was a GNC inside the mall. I looked at the map directory and also on Google maps to see where it was at. The GNC store is on the 2nd floor near Target. When a walked in a worker greeted me and I went straight to look for a ZOA energy drink. I found the 12 pack but not a single one so I asked where a cold energy drink is and he told me it was near the check out. They didn't have ZOA in the refrigerator so I settle for Prime energy. The price was reasonable and the flavor I got was good.”

“I tend to shy away from frozen foods due to the amount of sodium & the lack of taste. I tried Cedarlane’s Adobo Chicken Power Bowl, though, & am somewhat impressed! The sodium level is 100-300 mg lower than a typical frozen meal & the bowl was delicious! One serving has 20g of protein, only 13g carbs, 8g of fat. It is filled with spinach, kale, & chicken breast. It’s a great quick healthier lunch for the office than eating out!”

“The GNC staff is soo helpful and friendly big thanks to them for being amazing ?. Whenever I go in they always tell me about their sales and I end up saving money which is always a huge bonus. I like purchasing clean energy drinks so whenever I can save money my favorite things I definitely do. They even broke down the math for me the last time I thought they were trying to sell me but they totally weren’t when I listened to what they were saying it made sense. So now I go in there in a regular basis because they do have good deals on things. “I know alot of people that work in area come for the salad bar, hot bar, and deli. It has a pretty large selection, the only grocery store I have seen with a better "prepped" food section was a Wegman's in Fairfax, VA. The staff is really nice and store was okay looking, but it was near the end of the day. There is also a bar in here. I usually prefer Aldi because the produce is cheaper, but there were some good Amazon deals and some of the produce/meat came to a reasonable price. I did get some "speciality" items, but just items that probably wouldn't be in standard grocery store or Sprouts or an Asian grocery store. The rotisserie chicken and brookie (which I should have checked price before buying) were pretty good.”

“Easily one of my favourite places to shop. The store is beautifully curated, everything feels fresh and intentional, and the vibe is relaxed yet upscale. Little bit pricey though. I mostly come here for lactose-free alternatives and sugar-free items, and the selection is consistently excellent. From non-dairy milks to low-sugar snacks, they’ve made it really easy to shop for dietary needs without sacrificing quality.
You can park in the nearby structure, validate your ticket at one of the two kiosks: one by the juice station, the other by the self-checkout.
The area is pedestrian-friendly with calm, chill vibes, and several great restaurants and shops nearby. It makes grocery shopping feel like a nice part of your day instead of a chore.
The only recurring downside I’ve experienced is at the pizza station. I’ve gone three separate times, well before their posted closing time (around 7 PM), and each time I was turned down when I asked for a fresh pizza. The reasons varied—once the oven was supposedly off (it wasn’t), another time they had back orders, and the third time they said they wouldn’t have time to finish it. It was disappointing, especially considering the overall high standards of the store.
Still, despite the letdowns at the pizza counter, the rest of the store more than makes up for it.”
