Lots to unpack here. Between the cars not being all too well kept and having issues with customer service, I'm just overall disappointed with this service. I agree with others, maybe you need to be a frequent member for the best service but sadly we didn't receive that. Definitely gave my disabled mother a hard time and myself an even harder time when attempting to kindly alert them of any issues with the car. Disappointing. I will give credit to the 1-800 contact for billing issues at Hertz (which was an issue for us so be aware of that), that were more than willing to hear out my concerns and even give me a refund for damages I did not cause. Can't say I received that same kindness at this branch. Otherwise, I'd avoid them altogether.

Jeremy and his team run a bait-and-switch operation. They lure you in with a special offer price, confirm it over the phone, and when you arrive on time (even after paying for an Uber to get there), they suddenly claim the car is gone. Then, they conveniently offer you a different car at a much higher price. Classic scam tactics. What goes around, comes around.
Edit : While “improvements on our reservation system” might’ve been a fair excuse for the customer next to me who went through the same thing, it doesn’t apply here. I spoke with you personally over the phone and had the price confirmed. For you to act like that conversation never happened when I showed up was dismissive and unprofessional. As Seinfeld famously pointed out, the most important part of a reservation… is actually holding the reservation.

Had to turn in my car uber geofences and grayball electric cars so your not going to get the same payout as it first launch as the rental agreement stipulates that trips offered must be in range of electric charging stations. And dead zones will get you kicked off the app. Better off getting a hyrbid and the current president dictates the energy trends such as petrol ⛽️ and the ev incentive ends november then hybrids will take over. Dont rent to buy electric cars as every 50k miles there is battery degradation of 10 percent . Although polestar 2 2023 has canister batterys and ports that can be changed for 8k to 10k cheaper then a tesla you just need to use chat gpt and call to source materials and specialized labor. Agathe is awesome.
Also double check if your car is off the app to prevent getting double charged like I did I usaully call bill to charge my car at 333pm then later that same day got charged 1146pm for the same thing so had to bail and switch to lift and jump to different providers to avoid any cyber crime or low key trolls.
Not to mention the new cybercrimes out there pegasus made by isrealis to spy on you memory and get your passwords and there is also redline with phising attack made by dark net ai entity to hijack your cookies( internet term) to by pass 2fa.
To remedy this you have to use a verified yubi key straight from source to use hardware and nfc to force a physical key instead of 2fa.
Just chat gpt or use whatever AI is compatible with your mindset.
Geofencing , app throttling, grayball are similar terms to limit your ride trip offers screen record your app when driving to catch the time stamps then go on uber pro and talk with a rep dont use the AI chat its hella retarded. And upload your video or get screenshots of your offers that did not go through. You have to report offers and trips that did not go through yet you accepted them and dispute double charges because now you have to be a cyber security expert or risk losing your cashflow or accounts fyi
Hopefully you read these theres clues in the reviews.
Also bp pulse near airport is .40 cent kw from 150kw to 75kw charging stalls depending on your battery health and car you use.
Also charge point on alameda and 25th and soto and 37th at z place lowest charging rate is .30 to .35 cent kw just use remote start to avoid skimmers.
Also chargepoint has .22 kw charges near city halls that are near casinos for example pechanga casino near by the closest city hall is .22cent per kw
Keep switching providers until you get the right income flowing to you dont commit too much terms can change and so does cashflow

Booking the Hertz was easy the guy who helped me was very professional and I Saw a girl front desk agent being equally nice to another black customer. However returning after 2 weeks I went to ask questions and admitted I was confused about charges. Overall why have an agent in the front desk who is going to make us feel dumb. I know for a fact she did not want to help as she kept rolling her eyes to the side and repeating answers like if I was an idiot. Overall I can bet anything she gave me false and lazy information which is why now I’m in a greater financial crisis!

Jeremy he told me to get the hell out of a store even though I had a reservation at 12 PM and he kicked me out saying there are no cars available I’ve never been harassed and treated so badly in my life and I’m considering taking legal action for how I was treated. He refused to give me his bosses number or even connect me to his boss and he refused to abide by the agreement terms I’ve never felt like this before from any rental service or so from any person for how I was treated and he should really be fired. Have it all on video

I have been a hertz’s customer for many years, but I have never had any awesome rental experience until I came to this hertz-Redondo office.
I would rate Agatha beyond 5 stars*; she has a golden heart and extremely helpful to the satisfaction of customers.
Jimmy is very helpful and efficient. He meets customers’ expectations and can answer any questions.
I have had the greatest experience renting a car with hertz so far because of both Jimmy and Agatha.
I will definitely come back all the way from Pasadena. Highly recommend.

Awesome rental car experience. They way car rentals should work. I didn't write a review when I first rented from this Hertz location because, let's be honest, when everything goes smooth it doesn't stick out in our mind as a really horrible experience. But this time around, I couldn't rent from Hertz because this location is closed on Sunday so I tried Avis a few miles away. Avis was atrocious, everything Hertz wasn't. Hertz had the car I reserved, in good working condition, ready on my arrival. I was in and out in under 3 minutes. Avis didn't have the car size I reserved, I waited an HOUR for the wrong size car, and it had mechanical problems before I left the lot. Do yourself a favor. Use Hertz. Even if they're a few dollars more, it's not worth the headache dealing with other company's bad service. Hertz is awesome!

Best place to rent a car in the South Bay! Every car I've rented from them runs smooth and is super clean. Their customer service is top notch as well. Highly recommend for everyone whether your trip is near or far.
